Definitions
- the invention relates to a high-current switching device, which two contact plates to be connected to separate current conductors, at least one movably mounted on one of the contact plates Shift finger and on the shift fingers and the other contact plate arranged contacts, each shift finger via a Expansion band electrically connected to one contact plate is.
- the switching fingers of high-current switching devices are used for disconnection and closing the circuit, covering a switching path have, for power transmission, as a base for switch contacts, for switching over time via pre-contacts, for deleting Arcs arising during the switching process, for heat emission and for Recording of the mechanical resulting from the switching dynamics Stresses. Accordingly, the shift fingers of High current switching devices have high electrical and mechanical Resilience, small size and good electrical conductivity exhibit. In addition, the shift finger is inexpensive have to be manufactured.
- Shift fingers are sufficient, have high-current switching devices in the generally several shift fingers. You can use one or Several of the switching fingers pre-contacts can be provided if this is for the respective switching operation is appropriate. In addition, at one or more of the shift fingers as well as on the counter contact plate Horns for deriving the arc that arises during the switching process to be appropriate.
- the provided on the shift fingers and the counter contact plate Contact pieces can consist of special alloys. Their surface is mostly tinned or silver-plated.
- the contact fingers themselves usually consist of copper, especially (S) E-Cu F25-30, whereby whose surface is silver-plated or tinned when the stretch bands or conductor are screwed on while the surface is bare is when the parts are connected by welding or soldering.
- the known shift fingers contain bores and have incisions or peaks to absorb mechanical forces from actuators or feathers. At the force application points or Places with high bending moments result in loads that increase Deformations of the shift fingers result when the mechanical strength of the material of the shift finger, namely the Copper, is reduced. Therefore, one must in the manufacture of the known shift finger make sure that only locally limited little heat is introduced into the material, namely copper, why expensive manufacturing processes such as percussion welding or Electron beam welding must be applied.
- the contacts or stretch bands can also be screwed on what high assembly costs and also high contact resistance Has. In the latter case, however, defective parts can also be removed replace more easily.
- US 1,560,308 discloses a power switch with one serving as a sleeve Housing, inside of which a stretch band extends. At the Closing the switch will turn the housing against a mating contact pressed so that the housing both the mechanical loads of the Switching takes up, as well as the power line through the wall of the Serves through the contact closure, This is the result Problem that the case is both good mechanical, as well as good must have electrical properties, which compromises in the Material selection.
- the invention is based on the object in high-current switching devices the shift fingers simple and therefore inexpensive to be able to produce that this one hand a good electrical Conductivity and on the other hand also a high mechanical Have resilience.
- the invention ensures that the power transmission provided current conductor, which in particular made of copper exist, practically not also for the inclusion of the mechanical Loads resulting from the switching operations and switching movements result, must be used. Accordingly, they can Elongation band forming, made of copper lamellae or strands connected at their ends by inexpensive welds become. The mechanical stresses on the power line unnecessary housing made of non-magnetizable stainless steel or VA steel.
- the contacts to be provided on the shift fingers can, for example to be brazed because of the power line provided stretch bands practically no mechanical loads have to pick up and accordingly at the welding and soldering points can be mechanically weakened without the functionality of the Affect shift finger.
- the housing of the individual shift fingers is preferably in two parts trained and contains holes, has incisions or peaks for absorbing mechanical forces from actuators and Springs up.
- the shift finger provided springs are preferably punched out of sheet metal.
- the stretch bands consist of a number of lamellas or strands joined together at their ends by pressure welding are connected.
- the stretch bands can be narrow, single Fingers, or as a stretch band slit through one end be trained. At the free ends of this stretch band or these expansion bands are expediently brazed contact pieces appropriate.
- the one at the force application points or places with high bending moments occurring high loads are according to the invention by the Comparison to copper high strength steel sheet such as VA material added.
- the stretch bands made of copper strands or lamellae can accordingly at their ends by pressure welding or brazing be connected because of the associated heat influence resulting reduced strength of the stretch bands none causes significant disadvantages because of the mechanical strength is ensured by the housing provided according to the invention.
- the laminated area of the Stretch band extended by approximately the length of the shift finger, what a significant increase in the life of the stretch band and so that the switch as a whole.
- the switching device has two electrically conductive contact plates 1 and 2 for externally connecting the switching device to one here not shown current-transmitting electrical conductor, which means the switching device is to be interrupted or closed.
- Switch fingers 3 are connected to the contact plate 1, which form the actual switching element. Each shift finger 3 is around one Swivel 4 pivoted to make the necessary switching movements to be able to execute.
- An actuating element 5 for example a cylinder or engine, provides the necessary via a linkage 6 or an eccentric Switching movements of the shift finger 3.
- All shift fingers are operated with the same mechanism. However, there is a pre-contact function for at least one switching finger due to a changed geometry on shift fingers or Actuation mechanism possible.
- Each shift finger 3 consists of a housing 7 and an expansion band 8.
- the stretch band 8 consists of a plurality of one Package assembled lamellae 9 made of copper, which at their ends 10th and 11 are joined together by pressure welding while the slats 9 between the two ends 10 and 11 otherwise free can move against each other to the function of the stretch band to be able to fulfill.
- stretch band 8 or its slats 9 for the transmission serve the electrical current, that is part of the stretch band 8 enclosing housing 7 made of non-magnetizable sheet steel, preferably VA steel sheet, manufactured and takes over the switching operations resulting mechanical loads.
- the stretch band 8 therefore does not need for the transfer of mechanical Switching forces to be designed. So you can end 10 and 11 by simple and inexpensive heat treatment, for example by Pressure welding, combine into a compact package.
- the solder layer 14 consists, for example, of silver solder L-AG 44 or L-AG 15 P.
- a horn 15 is attached, the one the same horn 16 attached to the second contact plate 2 is opposite.
- the horns 15 and 16 are used to derive the Switching arc.
- the contact piece 13 of the switching finger 3 is an identical contact piece 17 opposite, which is attached to the second contact plate 2 and also consists of a special alloy.
- a compression spring 18 presses the shift finger 3 towards the second Contact plate 2 so that the contact pieces 13 and 17 are firmly on top of each other when the contact should be closed.
- the housing 7 consists of two bowl-shaped parts 19 and 20, such as 2 and 4 in particular. These bowl-shaped housing parts 19 and 20 are each formed from a stamped sheet metal blank and are welded to one another at their longitudinal edges 21, so that the housing 7 a the mechanical switching loads absorbing unit.
- Fig. 3 shows that three shift fingers 3 formed from an expansion band 8 are, which is longitudinally slotted through two incisions 22 to the to form three shift fingers.
- the rear end 10 of the three shift fingers or the stretch band is common to all three shift fingers, while the front ends 11 with the brazed to it Contacts 13 are separated from each other to the shift finger individually to be able to adjust.
