Abstract

Bei der Verwendung von PE-ummantelten Litzen aus Stahldrähten für die Konstruktion eines freigespannten Zugglieds, insbesondere eines Schrägseils für eine Schrägseilbrücke, muß der PE-Mantel im Bereich der Verankerungen entfernt werden, damit die zur Verankerung verwendeten Keile unmittelbar an den Litzen angreifen können. Erfindungsgemäß wird der PE-Mantel (2a, 2b) jeder einzelnen Litze (1a, 1b) auf die Länge des beim Spannen am Spannende (A) auftretenden Dehnweges im Zuge des Spannvorganges entfernt. Dabei ist es besonders vorteilhaft, wenn der PE-Mantel (2a, 2b) durch die beim Spannen der jeweiligen Litze (1a, 1b) am Spannende (A) auftretende Längsverschiebung entlang eines zumindest während des Spannvorganges ortsfest angeordneten Schälwerkzeugs (20) abgeschält wird. Hierdurch werden die geometrischen Unsicherheiten eliminiert, die auftreten können, wenn der PE-Mantel bereits vor dem Einbau der Litzen entfernt wird und es wird sichergestellt, daß der verbliebene PE-Mantel im Endzustand möglichst dicht an den jeweiligen Verankerungskeilen endet, so daß ein möglichst guter Korrosionsschutz der Litzen bis in den Verankerungsbereich hinein erreicht wird.
