Abstract

A refrigerator has a cool air dispersing device (30) capable of distributing cool air horizontally into a ccoling compartment (3). The device includes a vertical blade that reciprocates about an axis and directs cool air through an aperture (16). In one embodiment, a separate vertical blade is provided for each of a plurality of apertures (16). In other embodiments, two parallel blades direct cool air through a plurality of apertures (16). Pivotable, horizontal blades may be provided for distributing cool air through the apertures (16) vertically.
