Abstract

The picture/urn comprises a frame (1) with the space inside it containing a sealed rectangular urn (4) containing the ashes, fronted by a picture (3), photograph or drawing of the deceased, protected by a sheet of glass (2). The assembly is protected by a back sheet (5) and fitted inside the frame, which is made deep enough to contain it all. The back sheet is held in place by staples. The urn itself is made from two flat transparent sheets which allow the ashes inside to be seen, attached to an inner frame to create a suitable space between them. The inner frame has a lower member and two uprights, and is completed by a removable covering strip.

Description

This patent relates to a ballot box specially intended in particular to host everything completely airtight, the ashes from the burial and whose essential characteristics are described below.

The practice of burial is more and more extensive, a practice that draws on various sanitary and practical directives also, if we take into account the lack of space in several places preventing cemeteries or necropolises from being enlarged.

Ashes from the burial of the body have so far been collected in suitable containers, preferably in pots or assimilated, having their external appearance and finish in consonance with the purpose of respect and remembrance that this object leads, occupying a privileged place in the family atmosphere.

This practice, for obvious reasons of affection towards the deceased, also extended to pets.

The patent subject of this description, being given the demand caused by social factors and emotional exposed above, offers new possibility to keep the ashes of your loved one, offering, together with the closing guarantee total of the area in which the ashes remain located, the possibility of completing all of memories with easy layout of an item graphic, perfectly framed and protected, relating directly or indirectly to the being whose ashes are deposited there, such as photographs of it or else photographs or drawings of places or scenes of his life, all for a better memory in same time as for the conservation of the buried remains that has been discussed from the start.

All this is complemented by the possibility of placing the blackboard object of this invention in the position classic on a desk or suspended from a partition or of a wall, as you like.

Everything described above is obtained from convenient and inexpensive through a ballot box subject of the invention, the drawings being annexed to this description in which, by way of example not limiting the practical realization, there is shown a blackboard according to specifications essentials of this patent.

Following the drawings, we observe the table-urn for burial ashes, consisting of a frame quadrangular (1), with a suitable rim (la) ornate or not, having its entire quadrangular central zone opened. This frame (1) has its four sides (1b) having sufficient width to accommodate their inside the set of juxtaposed elements which, as it is observed in the various figures, but specially in figure 1, compose the table-urn of the invention.

Immediately below the forehead areas there is a transparent glass (2) which protects a sheet (3) which will preferably be a reference precise, that is to say to the loved one's own figure whose ashes are deposited, i.e. a photographic reference or illustrated with places, objects, scenes or similar concerning his life and his activity.

The urn proper (4) is arranged immediately behind the sheet (3) and behind the urn, optionally, we can place a resistant sheet protection and closure (5) which will remain strongly also fixed by staples (6) which will bend on the own closure sheet (5) or simply on the urn (4) thus preserving the rest of the elements immobilized inside the ballot box (1).

If you wish to place the hanging assembly partition or wall, just place on the edge upper (1b) posterior of the frame an appropriate ring (7); in the variant in which we wish to place the frame on a horizontal surface, table, shelf or assimilated, the rear closure sheet (5) will have logically a support base (8).

The urn proper (4), represented in the Figures 2 to 4, consists of two flat walls preferably transparent verticals (9a) and (9b), which remain separate, leaving a given hollow between them, at the same time that they remain perfectly fixed, because they are glued to an interior frame, consisting of a lower horizontal crosspiece (10a) and two uprights vertical (11a) and (11b). These two amounts remain secured to the lower crossmember (10a) by their ends, by means of union brackets (12) whose studs at right angles penetrate inside the elements that they bring together. These studs, as well both vertical (12a) and horizontal (12b) are provided with teeth (13) which make separation difficult accidental of the various elements.

The urn is completed by the upper crosspiece (10b) located so that it can be raised enough easily, as illustrated in figure 2, in order to leave open the upper part of the hollow formed between the two vertical transparent walls (9a) and (9b).

This upper crosspiece (10b) also has, at its ends, union brackets (12), the vertical studs (12a) will be introduced inside respective vertical uprights (11a) and (11b) in completely closing the recess, as shown in the figure 4, keeping the sealing conditions in perfect conditions ash (14) deposited there.

The assembly being arranged as described, its use will be as follows: separating the plate rear protecting the closure (5), we can very easily remove the urn from inside the frame (1) itself as well as the graphic sheet (3), and it will only stay in the area before the clear glass (2) which allows you to view this sheet (3).

By pulling up the top rail (10b), the hollow between the two plates transparent (9a) and (9b) becomes accessible. Like him has been described, this hollow, inside which will be deposited the ashes (14) is delimited and closed by the frame constituted by the lower cross member (10a) and the lateral uprights (11a) and (11b).

As soon as the ashes (14) have been poured inside the urn, we will close this hollow by placing the upper crosspiece (10b), by fitting the studs vertical (12a) of the brackets (12), inside the vertical uprights (11a) and (11b). The ashes deposited there will be visible through the vertical walls transparencies (9a) and (9b).

The urn (4) will again be placed inside the frame (1) where it will remain sheltered and hidden. For manage to completely immobilize the urn relative to the frame, we will seal with silicone or similar. (No shown in the drawings).

Obviously the shape of the frame and the elements remaining components could have any other shape geometric, which could result in that even the main urn element takes this form.

It should be noted that, obviously, in addition to variants of its arrangement, suspended or supported, as well that of the use as well to preserve the ashes from the burial of loved ones of pets, the blackboard object of this invention could have endless variants of decoration and external appearance, dimensions and forms, as well as quality of the materials used for its practical realization, while not altering anything the essence of the invention, which is summarized in the following claims.

Claims (3)

Table-urn for burial ashes, characterized in that it consists of a frame, of which the area at the front delimits a vast quadrangular space open, in which is located a waterproof urn in which we deposit the ashes of our loved one and in front of this urn a graphic sheet, photo or drawing, concerning directly or indirectly the loved one, protected by the transparent glass suitable for the front, the whole being completed with a protective sheet rear, all this perfectly housed between the four sides of the frame which has a suitable depth for there housing the urn component, the rear protective plate being fixed by lined clips that the frame has at the rear edge of its four sides, being able to arrange the whole suspended from a partition or a wall or else leaning on a horizontal surface, the back plate having for this a support base. Table-urn for burial ashes, according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the urn proper is made up of two walls vertical flat transparent allowing to see the ash deposited inside, these walls being fixed on an internal frame, delimiting a hollow in which the ashes will be converted, this frame being constituted by a lower horizontal cross member and two uprights vertical sides joined at their lower angles by brackets with toothed studs for interlocking interior, and the frame being completed by a cross member practicable upper which, when removed, allow access to the interior of the hollow and which, as soon as the ashes will have been deposited, will close the space when the toothed studs will fit their ends to inside the side uprights. Urn table for burial ashes, according to claim 1, characterized in that the frame can have any geometric shape leaving a space open consistent with this shape, with which additional elements including the ballot box can adopt this form.
