Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kapselhalter für ein Rotations-Mischgerät gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a capsule holder for a rotary mixing device according to the preamble of claim 1.

Claims (9)
- A capsule holder for a rotary mixing device, comprising a carrier portion (10) adapted to the coupled to a rotary part of the mixing device, and two retaining members (12, 13) disposed on the carrier portion and movable relatively to each other for engaging a capsule from two opposite sides along a clamping axis,
characterised by an actuator member (11) mounted on the carrier portion (10), the actuator member being movable relative to the carrier portion and in engagement with at least one of the retaining members (12, 13) through a guide which extends at an angle with respect to both the direction of movement of the actuator member (11) and the clamping axis. - The capsule holder of claim 1, wherein the guide forms a larger angle with the clamping axis than with the direction of movement of the actuator member (11).
- The capsule holder of claim 1 or 2, wherein the actuator member (11) is in engagement with both of the retaining members (12, 13) through a guide.
- The capsule holder of any of claims 1 to 3, wherein the actuator member (11) is resiliently (30) biased toward a position in which it urges the retaining members (12, 13) toward each other.
- The capsule holder of any of claims 1 to 4, wherein the actuator member (11) is mounted for rotation relative to the carrier portion (10) and has a spiral cam arrangement (26) engaged by a follower (22) of the or each retaining member (12, 13).
- The capsule holder of claim 5, wherein the spiral cam arrangement (26) is so disposed that the retaining members (12, 13) are moved away from each other when the actuator member (11) is rotated in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the mixing device.
- The capsule holder of claim 5 or 6, wherein the cam arrangement (26) extends through an angle between about 45° and about 180°.
- The capsule holder of any of claims 1 to 7, wherein the carrier portion (10) is formed as a disk having a guide slot (16) for the or each retaining member (12, 13), the slot being open at the periphery of the disk.
- The capsule holder of claim 8, wherein the disk (10) has an outward sloping peripheral portion (17) within the area of the or each guide slot (16).
