Definitions
- the invention relates to a doctor's chair with at least at least one attached to the doctor's chair two axes adjustable armrest and one Adjustment and fixing device.
- Doctor's chairs of the type mentioned here are known (EP-A-0 868 885; US-A 3 124 328). She are commonly used by doctors who do precision work have to afford, for example tooth and Ophthalmologists hold her arm during treatment support of a patient.
- the one used Armrest must be in an optimal working position be relocatable and fixable in this.
- adjustable Armrests are known. You point out hand-operated locking devices on the fix the armrest in the desired position should. The more movement options are given the more locking devices are available. So the armrest is very expensive in the desired position.
- the one set by the doctor Locking torque is not always the same. This can only be done with wet hands, for example apply a lower locking torque than this with dry hands. It is therefore possible that an armrest during treatment a patient swiveled from the specified position will result in serious injury to the patient can lead.
- a doctor's chair is proposed to solve this task, of the features mentioned in claim 1 having.
- the chair is characterized in that he with respect to each axis in which the armrest is adjustable, has a blocking device, a spring-loaded, a defined blocking force has blocking jaws.
- the Blocking devices are coupled together that the movement of the armrest with respect to the two axes are blocked and released. In the Release position allows the doctor to arm the arm optimally align. In the blocking position of the blocking devices, is the armrest with the help of defined blocking force in the desired position held. So it's practically impossible that the armrest is during treatment of a patient.
- An embodiment of the doctor's chair is preferred, which is characterized by the fact that a movement with respect to a third axis of the armrest a separate blocking device is assigned, which has a third locking jaw. Also this is spring loaded and builds a defined one Blocking force. He is with the first and second Blocking device coupled so that the movement the armrest in relation to the third axis together with the movements relative to the other Axes are blocked and released. So it is possible a longitudinal shift of the armrest, a Rotation and height adjustment at the same time and make a common determination of all To reach locking devices so that the armrest securely held in a desired position becomes. There is a risk to the patient also practical with this configuration of the doctor's chair locked out.
- an embodiment of the Doctor's chair at least one of which is preferred a tooth element is assigned to all locking jaws is a positive connection in the blocked state allows. It is also possible with one Breakage of the spring elements preloading the blocking jaws a defined position of the armrest to maintain, that means a defined intervention between the locking jaws and the tooth element and therefore also under these operating conditions a defined position of the armrest sure. So that's security for you Patients increased even further.
- doctor's chair described below is fundamental usable for all doctors, the finest Need to do precision work while doing theirs Support arm on an armrest. For example, it is for ophthalmologists but also for dentists very usable. The following is purely exemplary assumed that this is a dental chair.
- a doctor's chair is one Chair with a chassis 3 with a number of Wheels 5. But this also addresses doctor’s chairs, which can be relocated to a rail system are, for example on a rotatable on a surface, for example attached to the floor of a practice Swivel arm.
- the doctor's chair 1 has a seat 7 which is supported on the chassis 3 via a seat column 9. On the seat 3 can be a backrest 11 may be provided. It is essential here that on the Doctor's chair 1, here exemplarily on the seat 7 an armrest 13 is provided. This is over a support column 15 on the seat 7 adjustable in height attached, which by a double arrow 17th is indicated.
- the armrest includes one on the Support column 15 rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation 19 Armrest 21, the two here in an example Level support elements 21a and 21b. The possible pivoting movement about the axis of rotation 19 the armrest 21 is by a double arrow 23 indicated.
- the support element 21a is in the direction its longitudinal extent shiftable, what by a Double arrow 25 is indicated.
- Figure 1 are two possible positions of the armrest 21 indicated. In both cases it is dashed shown that the support member 21 a longitudinally displaceable or is extendable.
- a doctor can therefore use the armrest 13 of the doctor's chair 1 in an optimal one for the treatment of a patient Bring the armrest into position adjust at least two axes. So here it is a longitudinal displaceability of the support element 21a, a movement with respect to a first axis, a pivotability of the armrest 21 about Axis of rotation 19, ie a movement around a second Axis possible. Finally, there is an adjustable height possible in the direction of the axis of rotation, so a movement in the direction of a third axis, which coincides with the axis of rotation 19 here.
- the entire doctor's chair was height adjustable can be designed so that the seat 7th is variable in height compared to the chassis.
- the adjustment can, for example, with the help of a Hand lever 27 take place, which is only indicated here and is basically known.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic diagram of the armrest 13. The same parts are provided with the same reference numbers, so that reference is made to the explanations for FIG. 1 becomes. Large parts of the armrest were shown in FIG 13 omitted to an adjustment and fixing 27 to make it more recognizable. This is referred to as device 27 in the following.
- the device 27 comprises a first blocking device 29, which the axial displacement of the Support element 21a blocked according to the double arrow 25 or releases.
- a second blocking device 31 affects the rotatability of the Armrest 21 about the axis of rotation 19 by a another double arrow 23 'is indicated. Through this Double arrow 23 'is the rotation respectively Swiveling the armrest 21 about the axis of rotation 19 clarified once again.
- the first blocking device 29 comprises a first blocking jaw 33, the one over a vertical blocking pin here 35 and an articulated connection 37 as well via a rotary lever 39 with an adjusting tube 41 connected is. This can be done as a here Hand lever 43 trained operating lever against the force of a supported on an abutment 45 Spring element 47 are pivoted.
- the adjustment tube 41 is here via an adjusting shaft 49 with the Adjustment tube 41 coupled.
- the adjustment shaft is preferably as a splined shaft or - profile and form-fitting within the Adjustment tube 41 out. That is, one about the Hand lever 43 introduced into the adjusting shaft 49 Torsional moment is transmitted to the adjusting tube 41.
- the Adjustment tube 41 in the direction of the double arrow 25 the adjusting shaft 49 can slide back and forth, whereby the transmission in all functional positions of a torsional moment from the adjusting shaft 49 the adjustment tube 41 and vice versa is possible.
- the movement of the hand lever 43 between the blocking and release position is by a double arrow 51 indicated, as well as the up and down movement of the first blocking jaw 33 by a double arrow 53.
- a double arrow 51 indicated, as well as the up and down movement of the first blocking jaw 33 by a double arrow 53.
- the adjusting tube 41 is with the support element 21a the armrest 21 coupled. So it becomes common with this in the direction of the adjusting shaft 49 and moved here, which is indicated by the double arrow 25 is.
- the first support element 21a is with a suitable one Linear guide 55 coupled, the two here parallel rails 55a and 55b. Instead of the rails you can also use a or two telescopic arms are provided that the Support element 21a in a shift accordingly wear the double arrow 25.
- the first locking jaw 33 is in the by black arrow indicated blocking position due the spring force exerted by the spring element 47 pressed onto a surface 57 on which here a toothed element designed as a toothed rack 59 which rests parallel to the movement path of the first blocking jaw 33 runs and at one Longitudinal movement of the support member 21a along the Double arrow 25 in any position with the first Locking jaws 33 can be brought into engagement.
- a movement of the armrest was 13 or Support element 21a of the armrest 21 in the direction of first axis, namely in the direction of the double arrow 25 can through the first blocking device 29 can be interrupted in any position.
- the support element is blocked in each case 21a possible.
- This also includes a second blocking jaw 63, of a rotary lever 65 with a continuation 49 'is rotatably coupled via an adjusting sleeve 67.
- the continuation 49 ' is torsionally rigid with the adjusting shaft 49 connected, that is, a rotation of the adjusting shaft 49 is transferred to its continuation 49 '.
- the adjustment shaft and its continuation run here at an obtuse angle.
- the Rotary movement of the adjusting shaft 49 is on the Continuation 49 'via a suitable articulated connection, transmitted here via a universal joint 69.
- a Back and forth movement of the hand lever 43 accordingly the double arrow 51 thus leads to a back and forth going rotary motion of the continuation 49 'accordingly the double arrow 71.
- a movement of the hand lever 43 against the force of the spring element 47, the via the universal joint 69 to the continuation 49 ' is transmitted in the direction of the white arrowhead of the double arrow 51 leads to a rotary movement of the Extension 49 'counterclockwise, so also towards the white arrow head of the double arrow 71, that is in the direction of the unlocking position.
- the hand lever 43 moves the second blocking jaw 63 is lifted up by the Sprocket 61, as indicated by the double arrow 73, pivoted down.
- the second blocking jaw 63 thus releases the ring gear 61, so that thus the armrest 21 with respect to the axis of rotation 19 and with respect to the fixed ring gear 61 in Direction of the double arrow 23 or 23 ' can be pivoted.
- the adjusting shaft 49 With its extension 49 ' at the same time the first blocking jaw 31 from the Rack 59 lifted off and in the unlocked position brought.
- first Blocking device 29 and the second blocking device 31 via the adjusting shaft 49, the universal joint 69 and over the extension 49 'of the adjusting shaft are torsionally rigid coupled.
- This means a pivoting of the hand lever 43 into the unlocked position unlocks the first blocking device 29 and the second blocking device 31.
- the hand lever 43 is released and through the Force of the spring element 47 in its lower blocking position relocated, so at the same time the first locking jaw 33 and the second Blocking jaws 63 shifted into its blocking position.
- Figure 3 shows only part of the armrest 13, namely the third blocking device 77. Die second blocking device 31 in here for reasons the better clarity as well as the others Parts of the armrest 21 omitted.
- the third blocking device 77 thus includes the Coupling sleeve 75, the one coupled to it and the bearing 81 Rotary lever 79 with which an operating arm 83 is coupled, on its opposite the bearing 81 A third locking jaw 85 is attached at the end is.
- the tooth profile is designed as a round rack, profiling on the outer surface or teeth are provided, which with the third locking jaws 85 cooperate.
- the central axis of the tooth profile 87 falls here with the Rotation axis 19 together, which is based on Figures 1 and 2 has already been explained. With an up and down movement the armrest position 13 in the direction of the axis of rotation 19, i.e.
- the third blocking device 77 in a release and a blocking position be displaced, which is indicated by a double arrow 91 is indicated. Again, this is due to a black one Arrowhead the blocking position and through a white arrowhead indicated the release position. That is, if the third locking jaw 85 with the tooth profile 87 is engaged an up and down movement of the armrest 13 in the direction of the double arrow 89 excluded. The third Locking jaws 85 will work with the force of the spring element 47 pressed against the tooth profile 87.
- the doctor's chair 1 are the three blocking devices 29, 31 and 77 via the adjusting shaft 49 respectively the continuation 49 'rigidly coupled together. That is, all blocking devices will at the same time in the unlocking and in the Locking or blocking position relocated.
- the blocking jaws 33, 63 and 85 of the Blocking devices 29, 31 and 77 are through the force of the spring element 47 when released Hand lever 43 shifted to its blocking position. It this results in a particularly simple structure.
- the spring element 49 a blocking device other than assign to the first blocking device 29 or a spring element in all blocking devices provided. In any case, any elastic Element can be used as a spring element.
- Prefers is designed as a coil spring Spring element, which is chambered outside and inside, So for example in a double pipe is stored from two concentric tubes. at such a configuration is also in one Spring break ensures a residual force that a Locking the blocking jaws with the corresponding ones Ensures tooth elements. With a broken spring a broken spring end can rest on the next one Support the spring winding and so the residual force guarantee.
- a positive connection is particularly safe between the locking jaws 33, 63 and 85 with the tooth elements or with the rack 59, the ring gear 61 and / or the tooth profile 87 if the blocking jaws in turn have a Teeth are provided in the toothing of the tooth elements intervenes. In such a case is special high security ensures that a once the armrest 63 has been blocked in a desired position during treatment of a patient is observed, even if there is a break in the spring element 47 should.
- the adjustment and fixing device 27 with the three explained with reference to Figures 2 and 3 Blocking devices 29, 31 and 77 provided so can be unlocked using the hand lever 43 all blocking devices provided at the same time become.
- the doctor can then armrest 13 in the move desired position.
- the hand lever 43 so easy to use that, for example a dentist an instrument, such as one Drill does not need to be put aside while he performs an adjustment of the armrest 13.
- the hand lever 43 is released and by the Force of the spring element 47 in its locking position relocated. This is what all three do Blocking devices simultaneously in their locking position, so that movement of the armrest 13 in all three possible axial directions (Longitudinal movement, swivel movement, height shift) is blocked.
- the doctor's chair is purely mechanical three axes adjustable and with the help of the device 27 can be fixed in the desired position. It is also possible when the hand lever 43 is actuated to activate an electrical adjustment and to deactivate by releasing the hand lever 43 and at the same time the armrest 13 reached Block or fix position. In this case, too, it is simple Way possible, an optimal working position adjust the armrest 13 and during breaks the armrest easily into a rest position drive back, as for example through the dashed position is indicated in Figure 1.
- the armrest can be provided 13 by another gas pressure spring in the To push the rest position as soon as the hand lever 43 in the unlocking position is moved.
- This one described adjusting and fixing device 27 can be easily with conventional Aids for adjustment (electric motors) or for weight compensation (gas pressure spring or, for example Counterweights) can be combined. In In all cases it is guaranteed that simple Way an adjustment and fixation of the armrest 13 with high safety for the patient and the Doctor is possible.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 show that with the help of preferably as a splined shaft trained adjusting shaft 49 respectively their continuation 49 'at least two Blocking devices are coupled together can. So there can be a movement of an armrest 13 of a doctor's chair 2 in at least two axes blocked or released. Conceivable it is, for example, a longitudinal displacement of the support member 21a and a height adjustment of the Armrest 13 with the blocking devices 29 and 77 synchronously, that means to release at the same time to block. It is also possible the second blocking device assigned to the pivoting movement 31 and that assigned to the height adjustment third blocking device 77 via the Continued 49 'to couple the adjusting shaft 49 and here at the same time a release or Ensure blocking.
- the doctor's chair 1 can So with regard to the adjustment and fixing device 27 can be varied, each being adjustable the armrest 13 with respect to two axes enable or block at the same time can be.
