Abstract

A throttle air inlet (12) for a pneumatic tool (10) which includes a swivel air inlet bushing (34) for rotatably attaching the pneumatic tool (10) to a pressurized air supply hose (38). The air inlet bushing (34) includes a first groove (56), formed on an exterior surface of the bushing (34), which rotatably mates with a pin-roll (52) inserted in the handle (16) of the pneumatic tool (10). This configuration allows the air inlet bushing (34) to rotate about its longitudinal axis within the handle (16) of the pneumatic tool (10). When the air supply hose (38) is attached to the exterior end of the air inlet bushing (34), the pneumatic tool (10) can be swiveled independently of the air supply hose (38).
