Definitions
- the present invention relates to a clasp of the folding clasp type with a base blade on which is likely to fall back at least one blade pivotable, said blades being attached together by one of their ends by means of a joint, these blades including a notch device allowing them to hang on top of each other in the closed position.
- Document CH-A-663 522 describes a buckle clasp deployant comprising a base blade provided with a elongated opening, blade on which is likely to fold down a pivoting blade provided with two horns elongated in the direction of the opening made in the base blade.
- the two horns of the swivel blade engage force in the opening of the base blade so this system constitutes a notch closure.
- a movement that would tend to bend the clasp in the direction of its length does not lead to an opening untimely said clasp, this untimely opening however, may occur if the horns and the opening were directed in a perpendicular direction to the direction of the blades.
- the clasp described in document FR-A-2 735 335 also has a notched hooking device where a first tab is lifted on the base blade and where a second tab is lifted on the swivel blade, these two tabs located in the closed position, back back-to-back and head to tail.
- This document contemplates the use a second pivoting blade whose attachment can be made either by notch as described above, or by pusher using the same basic blade. So the blade basic is versatile in that it can be mounted on it, a pivoting blade fitted with a tongue, either a swivel blade fitted with an actuatable pusher manually.
- the clasp of the present invention is provided with a notch device with two tabs lifted in the base blade and facing each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the clasp and a shaped fork of tuning fork made in the pivoting blade, this fork being oriented in the longitudinal direction of the clasp and having two branches whose ends are curved, each of said ends being arranged to snap onto one of the tabs lifted in the base blade when the clasp is in position closing.
- the clasp for bracelet is of the folding clasp type.
- This clasp has a base blade 1 on which is susceptible to fold down at least one pivoting blade 2.
- These blades 1 and 2 are tied together by one of their ends by means of an articulation 3.
- This articulation is carried out in the simplest way by a bar passing through holes provided in the end of the blades 1 and 2.
- the clasp can include a second pivoting blade 26 capable of fold down on base blade 1.
- this second blade is attached to the other end of the base blade 1 by means of a second articulation 17.
- the first strand of the bracelet is attached to the pivoting blade 2 by means of a bar crossing the hole 15, while a second strand of the bracelet is attached to the pivoting blade 26 by means of a bar crossing the hole 16.
- the base blade 1 and the blades swivel 2 and 26 have a double notch device which allows the pivoting blades to hang on the blade in the closed position of the clasp.
- the clasp may have only one blade pivoting 2.
- the first strand of the bracelet is attached to the other end of the pivoting blade 2 by a bar crossing hole 15 and the second strand of bracelet is attached to the other end of the blade base 1 at the location shown by articulation 17.
- the latter will be extended to present a length roughly equal to the length of the blade based.
- FIG. 1 shows that two tabs 4 and 5 are lifted in base blade 1. These tabs are arranged to face each other in one direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the clasp this longitudinal direction being marked by the letter Y.
- Figure 2 shows that in the pivoting blade 2 is practiced a fork 6 in the form of a tuning fork, this fork being directed in the longitudinal direction of the clasp.
- fork in the form of a tuning fork we mean here an element having two branches 7 and 8 of large length and connected by a bridge, which is by no means the case of the horns cited in the prior art, essentially very short and more like a U than a tuning fork.
- the ends 9 and 10 of the branches 7 and 8 of the fork 6 are bent and arranged for come to grip on one of the tongues lifted in the blade basic and this when the clasp is in position closing.
- each bulge 11 and 12 is provided with a plane inclined 13 and 14, this inclined plane cooperating with the corresponding tab 4 and 5 lifted in the blade base 1 for notching the pivoting blade 2 on said blade base 1.
- Figure 3 is a section along line III-III of the Figure 2.
- the blade base 1 provided with its raised tabs 4 and 5.
- the pivoting blade 2 whose branches 7 and 8 of its fork 6 are shown by the ends 9 and 10 of the branches.
- the ends 9 and 10 are provided with bulges 11 and 12 having each inclined plane 13 and 14.
- Figure 3 shows that the plans inclined 13 and 14 are supported under the tabs 4 and 5 at the point marked with an arrow 20 and 21 to block the clasp.
- the base blade 1 and the swivel blade 2 can advantageously be cut into sections strip, stiffer than folded sheet, easily deformable. We could also consider molding by metal injection (MIM) for the manufacture of said rooms.
- MIM metal injection
- Figures 1 and 2 show that in the case where the clasp has two pivoting blades, these first and second blades are provided with a hooking device notch made according to the invention.
- FIGS 4 to 7 therefore show that the base blade 1 forms with the pivoting blade 30 a locking device with button.
- the locking device pusher comprises a set 31 pivotally mounted on the other end of the pivoting blade 30 by means of a articulation 32.
- This assembly 31 includes a frame 33 on which slide two pushers 34 and 35 each recalled by a spring 36 and 37. Each of these pushers 34 and 35 has a hook 38 and 39 cut in a T shape.
- the bar horizontal of the T is likely to engage under the ears 22, 24 and 23, 25 of the tabs 4 and 5 lifted in base blade 1 to lock the clasp.
- the frame 33 pivots on the pivoting blade 30 by means of the joint 32.
- This frame 33 carries two pushers 34 and 35 which slide over him and are each recalled by a spring 36, 37.

Description
The present invention relates to a clasp of the folding clasp type with a base blade on which is likely to fall back at least one blade pivotable, said blades being attached together by one of their ends by means of a joint, these blades including a notch device allowing them to hang on top of each other in the closed position.
A clasp meeting the definition given above has already been proposed several times.
Document CH-A-663 522 describes a buckle clasp deployant comprising a base blade provided with a elongated opening, blade on which is likely to fold down a pivoting blade provided with two horns elongated in the direction of the opening made in the base blade. When the clasp is closed, the two horns of the swivel blade engage force in the opening of the base blade so this system constitutes a notch closure. Like the opening and the horns are directed in the longitudinal direction of the clasp, a movement that would tend to bend the clasp in the direction of its length does not lead to an opening untimely said clasp, this untimely opening however, may occur if the horns and the opening were directed in a perpendicular direction to the direction of the blades.
The clasp described in document FR-A-2 735 335 (published 20.12.1996; Article 89 EPC) also has a notched hooking device where a first tab is lifted on the base blade and where a second tab is lifted on the swivel blade, these two tabs located in the closed position, back back-to-back and head to tail. This document contemplates the use a second pivoting blade whose attachment can be made either by notch as described above, or by pusher using the same basic blade. So the blade basic is versatile in that it can be mounted on it, a pivoting blade fitted with a tongue, either a swivel blade fitted with an actuatable pusher manually.
All these systems have the disadvantage of wearing out quickly and no longer ensure a good notching of the clasp after a relatively small number of movements opening and closing. This is mainly due to the very short emergence length of the horns, which leads to an extremely reduced bending amplitude, therefore at a high notching force and therefore at a rapid system wear.
To overcome this drawback, the clasp of the present invention is provided with a notch device with two tabs lifted in the base blade and facing each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the clasp and a shaped fork of tuning fork made in the pivoting blade, this fork being oriented in the longitudinal direction of the clasp and having two branches whose ends are curved, each of said ends being arranged to snap onto one of the tabs lifted in the base blade when the clasp is in position closing.

et 2.As shown in Figure 1, the clasp for
bracelet is of the folding clasp type. This clasp
has a
As shown in Figure 1, the clasp can
include a
On
base. The clasp may have only one blade
pivoting 2. In this case the first strand of the bracelet is
attached to the other end of the
We will now describe the main object of the present invention, namely the attachment device to notch.
fermeture. As shown in Figure 1, two
base 1.According to a particular embodiment of the invention
which is shown in the drawing, the ends
curved 9 and 10 of the
figure 2.
languettes 4 et 5.The notching is particularly apparent on the
Figure 3 which is a section along line III-III of the
Figure 2. In this Figure 3 appears in section the
On
The figures show that the
The
Figures 1 and 2 show that in the case where the clasp has two pivoting blades, these first and second blades are provided with a hooking device notch made according to the invention.
d'accrochage à cran selon l'invention.
comme cela est bien apparent sur les figures 1 et 4.One can however imagine the case where one of the blades
swivel is provided with a hooking device
pusher, the other of these blades being provided with the device
notch hooking according to the invention. This case is illustrated
in Figures 4 to 7. In the latter figures, the blade
swivel 2 of Figures 1 and 2 is replaced by the blade
pivoting 30. Note, however, that in both cases
in figure, we use a
Figures 4 to 7 therefore show that the
s'aidant des figures en plan 6 et en coupe 7.This device, seen in perspective in Figures 4 and
5 will now be explained in more detail in
with the help of the figures in
22, 24 et 23, 25.The
lame 26.In the case of the execution shown in Figures 4 and
5, a first strand of the bracelet is attached to the
We see that by very simple means (removal and replacing a simple bar) we can transform a notched clasp into a blocked clasp by pusher. This can increase the security of closure of the clasp and this by keeping in all case the same basic blade.
