- un cylindre de gache destiné à être rapporté sur le fond de l'élément support, le fond dudit cylindre étant également percé d'un trou lisse venant en regard de celui du fond de l'élément avec lequel ledit cylindre sera solidarisé;
- une tige centrale dont une extrémité inférieure est filetée à partir d'une butée et destinée à traverser le trou lisse du fond du cylindre de gache et à se visser dans l'écrou encagé librement sur le fond de l'élément support, ladite tige constituant ainsi également un élément de liaison de différentes parties constitutives de la gache.

- Method of mounting the keeper, according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that it is effected according to the following steps:disconnection of its various constituent parts, namely:the support element (14) in the shape of an omega;the keeper cylinder (7) ;the central rod (6);mounting of the rod (6) by screwing onto the support element (14), without the cylinder (7) on the keeper (1), the said rod (6) thus becoming a gripping tool;manual gripping of the support element (14) by means of the rod (6) and tilting of the assembly downwards, causing a turning of the support element (14) through approximately 90° with respect to the horizontal position of the rod (6);frontal insertion, from the outside, of the lower vertical branch (21) of the support element (14) in the bolt hole (25) in the leaf (2);tilting of the support element (14) for a progressive return towards a horizontal position of the rod (6) whilst maintaining this in a lower area of the bolt hole (25) until the top branch (20) of the support element (14) passes on the other side of the said hole (25);putting the threaded holes (17 and 18) in the support element (14) opposite the fixing holes (12, 13) in the rebate on the leaf (2) whilst pulling towards oneself by means of the rod (6);screwing of the two fixing screws (10, 11) without locking;removal of the rod (6) by unscrewing;fitting of the cylinder (6) on the keeper (1) between the horizontal wings (20, 21) of the support element (14) in place, by frontal insertion through the hole (25) for the bolt (3);fitting of the rod (6) by screwing into the engaged nut (22) on the base (19) of the support element (14) after having passed through the end (26) of the cylinder (7) on the keeper (1) ;adjustment in a vertical plane of the cylinder (7) on the keeper (1) and of the rod (6), with respect to the fixed bolt (3) of the frame, by means of the oblong aperture in which the caged nut (22), not yet immobilised, can move;if necessary, insertion of shims (40) behind the cylinder (7) on the keeper (1) in order to obtain an adjustment thereof and of the rod (6) in a horizontal plane;immobilisation of the keeper (1) in position, by tightening the fixing screws (10 and 11) and the rod (6).
