Description
The invention relates to a filling spout and, in particular although not exclusively, a filling spout for a weight metering machine.
This spout has a tubular body and a mobile calibrator inside the body between a low position in which it closes an orifice of body flow and a high position in which it allows the liquid to flow. Part of the wall internal conical tubular body adjacent to the orifice flow and a conical calibration part of the organ calibrating between them an annular space of decreasing section up to the flow opening. This annular space has sufficient length relative to the width of the annular space taken in a direction radial at the flow orifice to obtain a laminar flow even at high flow rates. In order to minimize the diameter of the filling spout it is preferable to achieve a calibration member having a low taper, i.e. the angle of the lateral surface relative to the axis is weak. However it is foreseen in the cited document that the calibration part comes to bear on the edge of the flow hole to ensure the closure of the spout. In this case a weak conicity of the calibration part involves a large stroke of the organ for full opening of the spout filling. In addition an important race of the organ calibration is incompatible with the control usually used to adjust the position of the calibration body
An object of the invention is to provide a spout filling producing a high flow jet laminar and having a valve having a compatible stroke with conventional controls.
In order to achieve this goal, it is proposed according to the invention a filling spout comprising a body tubular having a sizing portion and terminated by a outlet, and a movable valve inside the tubular body and having a conical sizing portion followed by a terminal part with a decreasing section faster than the calibration part, the part for calibrating the tubular body and the calibration part of the valve delimiting between them an annular space of decreasing section towards the flow orifice of the tubular body, this annular space having relative to the width taken in a radial direction at a lower end of the annular space a length sufficient to obtain laminar flow in the annular space in which the calibration part of the valve at a lower end having a larger radius to the radius of the flow opening.
Thus the sharp decrease in the cross-section of the end part allows maximum flow to be obtained with a short valve stroke and it was found that so surprising the resulting increase in section immediately upstream of the flow opening does not destroy the laminar flow regime obtained by the calibration part. The invention thus achieves a compromise between the conditions for optimum flow and industrial constraints.
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear again in the description which follows follow a nonlimiting embodiment of the invention, with reference to the attached single figure which is a view in axial section of the filling spout according to the invention.
conditionner.The filling spout has a
Le corps tubulaire 2 comporte une partie de
calibrage conique 8.
The
The
On
figure.According to the invention, the radius R of the part of
10 calibration at the lower end of
the annular space is greater than the radius r of the
Of course we can bring many
modifications to the invention without departing from the scope of
this defined by the appended claims. The part
terminal of the valve may have a shape other than
conical, for example a curved profile following the profile
curve of the end part of the
