Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Ausgestaltung mit lediglich einer selbstklebend ausgerüsteten Folie auf der Rückseite (als hintere Folie) ergibt sich der weitere Vorteil, daß die Verpackung auch von schwachen Händen leicht geöffnet werden kann, ggf. auch wieder verschlossen werden kann, und daß auch das Messer besonders leicht entnommen werden kann. Ggf. kann auch die selbstklebend ausgerüstete hintere Folie im Bereich der Schneide nichtklebend ausgerüstet sein, z.B. durch nur partiellen Kleber-Aufdruck oder durch anti-adhäsiven Aufdruck von entsprechendem Lack in diesem Bereich. Der besondere Vorteil aber ergibt sich für das optische Erscheinungsbild des Messers, indem erfindungsgemäß keine Lufteinschlüsse zwischen Schneide und vorderer Folie entstehen können, wie dies bei Verpackungen insbesondere gemäß DE 44 32 355 der Fall ist.
