Abstract

Ein Verfahren zum Bezahlen von leitungsgebundenen Waren (5) und/oder von Dienstleistungen weist einen Informationstransport mittels einer Datenkarte (2) mit einem Speicher (9) zwischen einem autonomen Messgerät (1) für die Ware (5) und einem Verkaufstellengerät (3) in einer Verkaufsstelle (10) und zurück auf. Die Informationen umfassen Identifkation und Zustand des Messgerätes (1), die vom Messgerät (1) in den Speicher (9) eingeschrieben und mit der Datenkarte (2) zum Verkaufstellengerät (3) transportiert werden. Das Verkaufstellengerät (3) liest die gespeicherten Informationen aus und lagert sie in einem Datenspeicher. Auf dem Rücktransport der Datenkarte (2) zum zugeordneten Messgerät (1) enthält der Speicher (9) eine Anzahl Werteinheiten, die einem der Verkaufsstelle (10) bezahlten Geldbetrag entsprechen, und Kommandowerte für das Messgerät (1).
