Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Ermittlung des günstigsten Beförderers in einem Frankiersystem gekennzeichnet durch die Schritte:

  • Initialisierung des Frankiersystems mit Vorauswahl einer Gruppe an Beförderern, aus welcher der gewünschte Beförderer anschließend selektiert werden kann,
  • Verarbeiten von Eingaben betreff gestellter Dienstleistungsanforderungen an den Beförderer und automatische Auswahl derjenigen Beförderer aus vorgenannter Gruppe an Beförderern, welche die gestellten Dienstleistungsanforderungen erfüllen,
  • Errechnung der Portogebühr aufgrund des Gewichtes des Postgutes beziehungsweise Briefes und aufgrund aktueller Tarife für selektierte Dienstleistungen,
  • Durchführung von Vergleichen der Portogebühr zur Kostenoptimierung bei der engeren automatischen Auswahl des günstigsten Beförderers sowie
  • Abrechnung der ermittelten Portogebühr im Gebührenspeicher des ausgewählten Beförderers.

The invention relates to a method for determining the cheapest carrier in a franking system characterized by the steps:
  • Initialization of the franking system with preselection of a group of carriers, from which the desired carrier can subsequently be selected,
  • Processing input on service requirements to the carrier and automatic selection of those carriers of the aforementioned group to carriers that meet the service requirements set,
  • Calculation of the postage due to the weight of the mail or letter and due to current tariffs for selected services,
  • Carrying out comparisons of the postage fee to optimize costs for the narrower automatic selection of the cheapest carrier as well
  • Settlement of the determined postage fee in the fee memory of the selected carrier.
