- the seal 32 can of course be replaced by a simple wavy elastic washer.
- the shoulder 30 protrudes slightly from the front face of the bearing 22 so as to generate an axial clearance between the flange 28 and the bearing 22 so as not to hinder the rotational movement of the movable flange 28 relative to the roller 16.
- the flanges 12,28 and the roller 16 are made of aluminum, while trigger 20 is in steel.
- the wedging surface 26 has a plurality of retaining pins 38 intended to wedge the rope in the active position, and a central slot 40 to facilitate the evacuation of mud or ice from the rope.

- the internal orifice 50 of the second axis 18 has a circular section and allows the passage of a carabiner.
- the establishment of the second flange 28 on the annular flange 48 fitting is possible thanks to a circular hole 52 provided for the free end of the second movable flange 28.
- the diameter internal hole is slightly larger than the outside diameter of the rim 48 of nesting.
- the presence of the seal 32 in the groove 34 allows a certain friction braking of the rotational movement of the second flange 28 around the first axis 14, and in addition allows a slight alternating tilting movement of the second flange 28 at close to the closed position.
- the tilting movement is centered on the first axis 14, and is made possible thanks to the deformation of the seal 32 (FIG. 3), alternately allowing a spacing in the direction of arrow F1 for aligning the hole 52 with orifice 50, and an approximation in the opposite direction indicated by arrow F2 for the insertion of the hole 52 on the flange 48 fitting the second axis 18.
- the body of the trigger trigger 20 is provided with a light 54 of lockout allowing the passage of a carabiner for the trigger 20 locked in the inactive position.
- a return spring 55 urges trigger 20 towards the active blocking position, the spring being formed by a torsion spring inserted in a notch in the body of trigger 20.
- the trigger 20 In the absence of a rope inside the space 41, the trigger 20 abuts on the roller 16. In the separated position, a rib of the trigger 20 comes into abutment against a stopper of the flange 28.
- FIG. 6 shows a first application of a deflection pulley non-return, the movable flange 28 not being shown for reasons of clarity of the drawing.
- Rope 56 is in place on the roller 16, and the wedging surface 26 is in contact with the rope 56 following the spring return action 55.
- the hoisting of a mass M by the left strand is made possible thanks to the trigger drive in the unlocking direction indicated by arrow D.
- Unlocking by pivoting in the direction reverse of trigger 20 is operated by the friction exerted by the rope 56 on the pins of the surface 26 when the roller 16 rotates clockwise. If the force F is released, the mass M does not descend, thanks to the antagonistic action of the non-return blocker 21, the trigger 20 automatically returns in the opposite direction to the active position, in which the wedging surface 26 exerts significant pressure on the rope 56.
- the closure of the second movable flange 28 is illustrated on the Figures 7 to 9, the rope 56 not being shown.
- the movable flange 28 is first turned in the direction F3 around the first axis 14, followed at the end of the closing stroke by a slight spreading movement in direction F1 to allow passage over the flange 48 for nesting the second hollow axis 18.
- Figure 8 corresponds to Figure 3 illustrating the next step of reclosure of the movable flange 28, in which the hole 52 is in alignment with the orifice 50, and ready to be fitted on the flange 48 of the second axis 18.
- Figure 9 shows the final closing phase of the second flange 28, which is fitted on the articulation of the trigger 20 of the blocker 21.
- the hole 52 of the second flange 28 serves bearing at the edge 48 of the second axis 18, which avoids a trigger overhang 20.
- FIG. 10 represents two modes of use of the pulley 10 depending on whether the trigger 20 is free or locked.
- the passage of carabiner 58 through the second hollow axis 18 and the hole 52 of the second flange 28 allows use in pulley of non return return. In this case, the trigger 20 is free, and is likely to block the rope.
- the hooking of the carabiner 58 to through the articulation of the trigger 20 of the blocker 21 allows a reduction of the size of the pulley body 10.
- the second flange 28 remains locked in the closed position after the passage of the carabiner 58 in the hollow axis 18 of trigger articulation 20.
- Trigger 20 remains locked in the open position, which permanently spreads the surface of jamming 28 of rope 56.
- Figure 11 shows another application of pulley 10 as booster for climbing up the rope 56.
- the weight P is applied to the axis 18 of the trigger 20, and the rope 56 passes between the roller 16 and the wedging surface 26.
- Figure 12 shows a zip line application unidirectional, in which the pulley 10 moves along of a rope 56 between a starting point A and a finishing point B located on a lower level.
- the rope 56 passes under the roller 16, and the mass M is attached to the second axis 18 of the trigger 20.

- a pair of first and second flanges defining a transverse space in which is arranged a roller mounted to rotate on a first axis,
- a groove in the roller for guiding the rope,
- means of articulation of the second flange on the first axis allowing relative movement of said flange between a closed position trapping the rope in space, and an open position for the placement of the rope on the roller,
- and a blocker integrated in the space, and comprising a movable trigger articulated on a second axis between an active blocking position and an inactive position for unlocking the rope. Such a pulley is known from FR-A-2 339 566.
Single oscillating flange pulleys are used with classic way to make lifting devices, including hoists, hauling, diverts, as well as horizontal progression devices like the zip line. The rotary roller is mounted idly on the axis of the pulley. If the devices must respond for security measures to functions non-return, it is essential to associate a blocker with the pulley intended to block the rope when the force of handling. The blocker is formed by a separate device connected to the pulley by a connecting carabiner. The whole then presents a significant bulk, and requires the obligatory passage of the rope in the two devices in series.
The object of the invention is to produce a flange pulley reliable swivel and non-return device with a small footprint.
The pulley according to the invention is characterized in that said second axis is tubular, extending parallel to the first axis, and having an internal orifice intended to come into alignment with a hole conjugate of the second flange when the latter reaches the close to the closed position, so as to allow hooking a carabiner through the articulation of the trigger, simultaneously causing the locking of the second flange in closed position.
Attaching the carabiner to the hinge pin of the blocker reduces the size of the pulley while guaranteeing safety, because the retractable flange remains locked positively in the closed position preventing all rope escape.
According to a characteristic of the invention, the second axis of the blocker is mounted in cantilever on the first flange, and comprises first means for axial positioning of the trigger, and second means for nesting the second flange in closed position. The first means of positioning of the trigger in space are formed by a stop arranged at near the end of the second axis opposite the second flange. The second means of fitting the second flange consist of an annular rim projecting from the stop and arranged coaxially with the orifice of the second axis.
According to a preferred embodiment, the means of articulation of the second flange on the first axis are arranged to authorize when closing the second flange, opposite movements of spacing and approximation with respect to the second axis.
The movable trigger advantageously includes means for control to secure the trigger lock in the inactive unlocking position inhibiting the action of the blocker. The use of the device is then reduced to a single pulley without blocker.

Referring to Figures 1 to 4, a pulley designated by the reference
general 10, has a first fixed
The
The
The establishment of the
d'emboítement du deuxième axe 18.The presence of the
la gâchette 20.The body of the

dans la gorge 24 du galet 16.The introduction of the
une pression importante sur la corde 56.Figure 6 shows a first application of a deflection pulley
non-return, the
The closure of the second
48 du deuxième axe 18.Figure 8 corresponds to Figure 3 illustrating the next step of
reclosure of the
fonctionnement en porte-à-faux de la gâchette 20.Figure 9 shows the final closing phase of the
coincement 28 de la corde 56.FIG. 10 represents two modes of use of the

Other applications are possible, in particular for hauling, rescue operations, and progression along a rope.
