Claims (10)
- Multipoint locking assembly with cremone bolt designed to be connected in operation with a hand driven slidingly closing mechanism for locking sliding doors and sash windows or other similar elements, of the kind comprising a plurality of closing bolts (1, 2) spaced from each other and linked by metal plates (3, 4) the said plates (3, 4) being slidingly guided by guiding and supporting structures (5, 5a) and linearly driven into operation according to the travel of the bolt (7) of a slidingly closing mechanism designed to be linked to the plates, between a first closing end position and a second opening end position, the said guiding and supporting structures (5, 5a) are designed to be fastened on a side member of a door or window such as a hollow section (6) characterized in that each of the said closing bolts (1, 2) is mounted stiff within a strong sliding block (8) and tightly linked to the said plates (3, 4) and is imbedded within a corresponding opening (9) cut in one of the metal plates (3), the guiding and supporting structures (5, 5a) comprising metal C and flat-shaped guideways (10) in which the said plates (3, 4) are slidingly housed, although conveniently separated by intercalating friction proof joining and separating elements, oblong openings (11) being arranged in the bottom of C-shaped guideways (10), the guiding and supporting structures (5, 5a) comprising a frame (12) mounted behind each of the said oblong openings, defining with the associated opening a laterally open container and receiving one of the said blocks (8) mounted free to slide along a limited run against the action of a spring (13) opposite to the travel of the plates (3, 4) in the direction of the opening of the locking assembly.
- Multipoint locking assembly with cremone bolt, according to claim 1, characterized in that the said block (8) comprises at its front part, under the bolt (1) an internally threaded oblique drilling (15) which reaches the hole (16) for inserting the said bolt (1), for fastening and/or adjusting the bolt (1) position by means of an element (17) threaded within the said drilling (15) the said bolt having access by the front part of the guiding and supporting structure (5, 5a).
- Multipoint locking assembly with cremone bolt, according to claim 1, characterized in that the intermediate friction proof joining elements consist in plates (18) of plastic material provided with a hollow protuberance (19) through which an axial hole (19a) is defined for the passage of screws (20, 21) for fastening the assembly of the guiding and supporting structure (5, 5a) on the side member (6) of the door or window, the said protuberance (19) being arranged through oblong windows (22) of plates (3, 4), having a length according to the allowed travel of the said plates (3, 4).
- Multipoint locking assembly with cremone bolt, according to claim 3, characterized in that the said plates (18) with friction proof joint comprise at a given distance from the protuberance (19) a stud (23) which can be broken, which outwardly emerges close to the edge of the oblong window (22) of the plate (3, 4) locking it in an inoperative condition of the assembly.
- Multipoint locking assembly with cremone bolt, according to claim 3, characterized in that the said frame (12) housing the blocks (8) is linked to the edges of the said oblong openings (11) of the bottom of the C-shaped guideways (10), by locking clawlike ratchets (24, 24a) which start from the ends of the frame (12), from which are starting flat strips (25, 25a) which are back to back with the rear part of the guideway (10) and which finish by protuberances (26, 26a) based on two protruding U-shaped arms having an intermediate hole (27, 27a) which remains aligned with a hole (28) of the guideway, a hole (19a) of the protuberance (19) of the part (18) of the joint and an oblong opening (22) of the plates, for fastening the guiding and supporting structure (5, 5a) on the wall of a section (6) with anchor bolts (20, 21).
- Multipoint locking assembly with cremone bolt, according to claim 1, characterized in that the ends of the plates (3, 4) have a warpage (34) defining areas for linking with other similar plates for increasing the number of closing elements driven from a single hand driven slidingly closing mechanism.
- Assembly, according to claim 1, characterized in that there is small C-shaped plates (31) which encircle the assembly of the guiding and supporting structures (5, 5a) and provided with a hole (32) in order that fastening screws (20, 21) pass through it.
- Assembly, according to claim 7, characterized in that the protuberance (19) has such a height that it acts as a spacing element for the small C-shaped plates (31) with respect to the sides of the guideways (10).
- Assembly, according to claim 1, characterized in that the bolt (7) of the opening-closing mechanism acts on a central plate (30) at the lower and higher ends of which respective plates (3, 4) are joined.
- Assembly, according to claim 1, characterized in that the spring (13) is supported on one of the sides of the box, within an anchoring recess (14).
