Figur 3 zeigt die Verpackung im aufgebauten Zustand, bestehend aus zwei gegenüberliegend angeordneten Tragrahmen 1 sowie zwei Platten 2, nämlich einer oberen Deckelplatte 2 und einer unteren Bodenplatte 2, die die Tragrahmen 1 miteinander verbinden. Der Rahmen 1 weist im wesentlichen rechteckförmigen Grundriß auf und ist gebildet aus einem oberen Querträger 4 und einem unteren Querträger 5 sowie zwei seitlichen Eckenprofilen 6, die zum Schutz der Kanten des zu verpackenden Gerätes dienen und in den lastabtragenden Stützrahmen 1 einstückig integriert sind. Die schalenartige Bauweise des Tragrahmens 1 resultiert daher, daß der Tragrahmen im Schnitt, wie sich aus Figur 3 und den Einzelheiten gemäß den Figuren 6 und 7 ergibt, als Eckwinkelprofil aufgebaut ist. Dadurch ergibt sich nicht nur eine sehr gute Stabilität des Tragrahmens selbst, sondern daraus resulitiert auch ein sehr guter Kantenschutz sowohl für die Eckkanten wie auch für die Längskanten und Querkanten des zu verpackenden Gerätes. Der obere Abschnitt der Dämpfungsstege 7 ist hierbei kreiszylinderförmig gewölbt. Im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel sind insgesamt vier Dämpfungsstege 7 vorgesehen, wobei, wie sich am besten aus den Figuren 1 und 2 ergibt, die Dämpfungsstege gegenüberliegender Eckenprofile 6 eines jeden Tragrahmens 1 höhenmäßig zueinander regehmäßig versetzt sind. Insbesondere ist die Versetzung der Dämpfungsstege 7 so, daß diese mit Dämpfungsstegen 8 der anderen Winkelseite 6b in Flucht ausgerichtet sind, wobei die Dämpfungsstege 8 gleichfalls bezüglich der gegenüberliegenden Eckprofile zueinander versetzt sind. Im Bereich der Unterseite eines jeden Tragrahmens 1 ist eine allgemein mit 9 bezeichnete Pralleinrichtung ausgebildet. Wie am besten aus Figur 3 hervorgeht, paßt die Bodenplatte 2 mit Kraftschluß und/oder Formschluß zwischen den oberen Tragsteg 14 und die Winkelseite 1b des oberen Querträgers 4 und ist somit weitgehend stabil gehalten. Dies ist ein sehr wesentlicher Sicherheitsaspekt der Verpackung.
