Abstract

The refuse bin (5) is supported between two pull-out frames (3) mounted inside a cupboard and under a work-top. The rear of the support frame has a fixed cover (7) under which the bin is slid. The front part of the cover has a storage section formed by a lipped area. The rear of the cover has a reduced height to fit under the waste pipe under a sink unit. The lipped storage tray can be used to store special refuse eg. batteries, for special disposal. Several bins can be hung in the support frame, for sorted refuse.

Eine derartige Konstruktion und Funktion des Deckels ist jedoch in demjenigen Fall nicht zweckmäßig, wenn das Gestell in einen Spülschrank unterhalb des Syphons eingebaut ist. Schließlich ist in der US 3 528 718 offenbart, daß beim Unterschrank das Gestell und der Deckel eine Einheit bilden, die einerseits an einer vorderen Querleiste des Unterschranks und andererseits an der Unterschrankhinterwand befestigt ist. Damit bleibt der Deckel zwar unbeweglich, aber die Deckeloberseite ist nicht zugänglich, kann also auch nicht für weitere Zwecke genutzt werden. Das Tragorgan hat am Oberrand Dichtungen und läuft mit diesen schräg gegen den Deckel.
