- Device for fastening a fuel injector (1) to an internal combustion engine cylinder head (2) and of the type in which the injector (1) is maintained partially engaged in a cylindrical housing (2b) which opens from the cylinder head (2) to the face (2c) thereof perpendicular to the injector by means of a flange (3) spaced from the face (2c) and fastened to the cylinder head (2) by means of two screws (5) perpendicularly crossing this face (2c), two opposed bosses (3a) of the flange, directed towards the face (2c), being applied on two at least diametrically opposed supporting areas (6) of the injector (1), characterized in that the supporting areas are made in a recess (6) which opens to the periphery of a cylindrical portion (4) of the injector (1) and located above the face (2c) of the cylinder head (2), which recess (6) receives an intermediate piece (7, 9) which partially emerges from the recess (6), and in that each boss (3a) of the flange (3), outside the cylindrical portion (4) of the injector (1), is applied on an emerging portion of the intermediate piece (7).
