Definitions
- the invention relates to a hollow chamber profile with an insertable in its hollow chamber and with another profile or the like.
- Hollow chamber profiles for example plastic profiles with reinforcements, are notoriously known.
- the reinforcements are mostly made of aluminum or sheet steel, whereby reinforcements made of aluminum profiles are on the one hand too expensive and on the other hand too little resilient (only about 1/3 of the bending stiffness of steel). For this reason, reinforcements made of sheet steel are preferred for hollow chamber profiles and are therefore also generally known per se. These reinforcements include Box or Z, double T, etc. shapes.
- the profile insert consists of two identical but mirror-inverted profile halves, each having the basic shape of a "U” and with which Base legs are arranged against each other, each base leg having two beads running parallel to one another and in the longitudinal direction at a distance, which together form two screw channels and the leg dimensions of each profile half are selected so that the entire insert can be inserted into the blind beam with little play, so that screws inserted into the screw channels can be pressed out by spreading this play.
- the profile insert consisting of two profile halves inserted loosely into the hollow chamber has several disadvantages.
- the screw channels for the fighter screws are only formed when the two profile halves lie exactly against each other, i.e. the beads in the profile halves must together form an upper and a lower square recess (screw channel) into which screws can then be screwed.
- the beads in the profile halves must together form an upper and a lower square recess (screw channel) into which screws can then be screwed.
- the hollow chamber profile also has only small height tolerances, the beads are not exactly opposite one another and a screw channel does not form without rework.
- the two profile halves tilt and screwing in of the screws is also not easily possible.
- An additional disadvantage is the fact that the profile halves must be supported with their top and bottom folds on the inner wall of the hollow chamber profile in order to be functional at all.
- the hollow chamber profile specified in DE-PS 40 20 559 is equipped with a one-piece reinforcement with a screw channel open on one side and thereby avoids the disadvantages of DE-GM G 87 14 076, but has the disadvantage that external elements, such as fittings or the like. Cannot be screwed to the reinforcing profile, which runs approximately in the middle of the hollow chamber, but only to the plastic wall of the hollow chamber profile and thus can particularly stress it.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a reinforced hollow chamber profile, for example made of plastic, with which the subject matter of DE-PS 40 20 559 is improved and which absorb an increased wind load, particularly in frame structures is capable of furthermore, in which a deformation of the hollow chamber profile due to one-sided temperature stress does not occur and, in addition, the secure mounting of external elements, such as Fitting etc. on the hollow chamber profile allowed.

Description
Diese Armierungen weisen u.a. Kasten- oder Z-, Doppel-T- etc. -formen auf.The invention relates to a hollow chamber profile with an insertable in its hollow chamber and with another profile or the like. Screwable or otherwise connectable reinforcement for the stiffening and connection of window, door and other profiles, such as fighter and post profiles, wherein the reinforcement consists of a rolled box-shaped sheet steel profile, has a screw channel for screwing on the end face with the further profile and runs along the inner walls of the hollow chamber. Hollow chamber profiles, for example plastic profiles with reinforcements, are notoriously known. The reinforcements are mostly made of aluminum or sheet steel, whereby reinforcements made of aluminum profiles are on the one hand too expensive and on the other hand too little resilient (only about 1/3 of the bending stiffness of steel). For this reason, reinforcements made of sheet steel are preferred for hollow chamber profiles and are therefore also generally known per se. These reinforcements include Box or Z, double T, etc. shapes.
With the GM 87 14 076 (EP-PS 0 312 646) a central support for plastic window frames has become known, in which the profile insert consists of two identical but mirror-inverted profile halves, each having the basic shape of a "U" and with which Base legs are arranged against each other, each base leg having two beads running parallel to one another and in the longitudinal direction at a distance, which together form two screw channels and the leg dimensions of each profile half are selected so that the entire insert can be inserted into the blind beam with little play, so that screws inserted into the screw channels can be pressed out by spreading this play. However, such a profile insert consisting of two profile halves inserted loosely into the hollow chamber has several disadvantages. For example, the screw channels for the fighter screws are only formed when the two profile halves lie exactly against each other, i.e. the beads in the profile halves must together form an upper and a lower square recess (screw channel) into which screws can then be screwed. However, if the hollow chamber profile also has only small height tolerances, the beads are not exactly opposite one another and a screw channel does not form without rework. In the case of transverse tolerances of the hollow chamber profile, the two profile halves tilt and screwing in of the screws is also not easily possible. An additional disadvantage is the fact that the profile halves must be supported with their top and bottom folds on the inner wall of the hollow chamber profile in order to be functional at all. After the screws have been screwed in, these folds press into the plastic material, which leads to the cold flow of the plastic and possibly to the screws loosening in the long run. The assembly of the profile halves is also cumbersome and time-consuming. In addition, such profile inserts tend to generate considerable noise in the case of longer profiles.
The hollow chamber profile specified in DE-PS 40 20 559 is equipped with a one-piece reinforcement with a screw channel open on one side and thereby avoids the disadvantages of DE-GM G 87 14 076, but has the disadvantage that external elements, such as fittings or the like. Cannot be screwed to the reinforcing profile, which runs approximately in the middle of the hollow chamber, but only to the plastic wall of the hollow chamber profile and thus can particularly stress it.
The invention, as described in the claims, is therefore based on the object to provide a reinforced hollow chamber profile, for example made of plastic, with which the subject matter of DE-PS 40 20 559 is improved and which absorb an increased wind load, particularly in frame structures is capable of furthermore, in which a deformation of the hollow chamber profile due to one-sided temperature stress does not occur and, in addition, the secure mounting of external elements, such as Fitting etc. on the hollow chamber profile allowed.
- a) allows a significantly higher exposure of the hollow chamber profile to wind loads and, above all, one-sided temperature loads,
- b) the possibility of completely lining the hollow chamber, if required, with the reinforcement profile in order to achieve the highest possible moments of inertia in both the X and Y axes, which is also made possible by the fact that the reinforcement is far from the neutral zone of the hollow chamber profile is provided,
- c) the secure attachment of external elements, such as fittings, etc., without fear that the plastic of the hollow chamber tears out under extreme loads, the steel sheet profile being arranged parallel to the outer or inner wall of the hollow chamber profile and thereby these elements can be attached anywhere on the plastic profile outer wall, as they are directly connected to the reinforcement, e.g. screwed,
- d) because of the arrangement of the or the connecting channels, for example screw channels in the neutral zone of the hollow chamber profile, T and cross joints etc. can be produced without problems,
- e) high dimensional stability and dimensional stability due to the one-piece design of the reinforcement,
- f) easy adaptation of the shape of the reinforcement and / or the screw channels and the placement to the respective conditions of the hollow chamber profile and the specified requirements with regard to attachment of the external elements, stability, the entire profile, construction variants etc. and
- g) Possibility of saving material in the construction of the hollow chamber profile due to the high strength values of the one-piece reinforcement and the simple covering of the reinforcement with simple profiles, in particular plastic profiles.
