Abstract

Um ein Verfahren zum Detektieren von Schmierfilm auf Schienen zu schaffen, das witterungsunabhängig das Vorhandensein der den Schmierfilm bildenden unterschiedlichen Substanzen auf der Schiene erkennt, so daß eine gezielte Reinigung der Fahrfläche der Schienen, d.h. Entfernen des Schmierfilms, vorgenommen werden kann, bevor es zu den beschriebenen Störungen kommt, wird ein von einem Laser (6) entsandter über die Schienenoberfläche reflektierter Laserstrahl (5) von einem Detektor (12) in spiegelnder Reflexion und von einem zweiten Detektor (13) in diffuser Reflexion empfangen, wobei die Signale von einer Auswerteeinheit (16) ausgewertet und zur Auswertung die Einzelsignale beider Detektoren (12, 13) sowie das Summensignal und die Signalverhältnisse herangezogen werden.
