Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Identifizierung von unterschiedlichen, länglichen metallischen Gegenständen nach Lage und/oder Form und/oder Art, bei dem mittels einer Fördereinrichtung (1) ein vereinzelt in vorgegebener oder beliebiger Lage auf der Fördereinrichtung (1) liegender Gegenstand (7) hinsichtlich seiner Förderrichtung gleichförmig und mit konstanter Geschwindigkeit über mindestens eine induktive Abtastvorrichtung (2a) geführt wird, die während des Passierens des Gegenstandes (7) über die induktive Abtastvorrichtung (2a) zeitlich sich verändernde Induktionsspannung gemessen und das so über der Zeit ermittelte Meßsignal (S1) zur Herstellung einer Erkennungssignalsammlung (ES) als Erkennungssignal in einer elektronischen Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (3) gespeichert wird und die in Arbeitsdurchläufen von Gegenständen (4, 5, 6, 7) erzeugten Signale (S1, S2) mittels der elektronischen Datenverarbeitungseinrichtung (3) mit in einem Datenspeicher (9) abgelegten Erkennungssignalen verglichen und ausgewertet werden, wodurch ein der jeweils identifizierten Gegenstandslage und/oder -form und/oder -art zuordenbares elektrisches Ausgangssignal (AS) erzeugt wird, das zur Ansteuerung einer Sortiervorrichtung verwendbar ist.
