Description

La présente invention concerne les dispositifs de conditionnement et d'application d'un produit cosmétique tel qu'un produit de maquillage pulvérulent.
Elle a plus précisément trait à un dispositif du type comprenant un boítier apte à contenir un produit cosmétique, un élément d'application pour appliquer ce produit et des moyens de transfert pour alimenter en produit l'élément d'application.
Un tel dispositif est décrit par exemple dans la demande de brevet européen EP-A-0 611 184 ou le brevet français N° 843.007.
L'invention a notamment pour objet d'améliorer encore le dosage de la quantité de produit distribuée par l'élément d'application et la qualité du transfert du produit sur la peau de l'utilisateur.
Elle y parvient en proposant un dispositif de conditionnement et d'application d'un produit cosmétique, comprenant un boítier apte à contenir ledit produit, un élément d'application pour appliquer ce produit et des moyens de transfert pour alimenter en produit prélevé dans le boítier l'élément d'application, ces moyens de transfert comportant un rouleau d'enduction capable de tourner à l'intérieur du boítier, ce rouleau présentant une région de sa surface capable de venir au contact de l'élément d'application et d'exercer une pression de contact sur ce dernier et une région de sa surface capable de venir au contact du produit contenu dans le boítier, la rotation du rouleau transportant une charge de produit entre lesdites régions pour la transférer grâce à ladite pression de contact à l'élément d'application, caractérisé par le fait que le rouleau d'enduction est solidaire de moyens d'entraínement accessibles à l'utilisateur à l'extérieur du boítier.
Ainsi, grâce à la possibilité de choisir l'étendue des surfaces en contact du rouleau d'enduction et de l'élément d'application ainsi que la pression de contact, il est possible d'agir précisément sur les conditions d'imprégnation de l'élément d'application pour les adapter au mieux à la nature du produit et à la dose à distribuer.
Dans une réalisation préférée de l'invention, l'élément d'application est un organe rotatif.
Avantageusement, le rouleau d'enduction et ledit organe rotatif sont agencés pour tourner l'un au contact de l'autre et présentent un rapport de développées choisi de sorte que ledit organe rotatif effectue au moins un tour complet lorsque le rouleau d'enduction effectue un demi-tour ou, en variante, un quart de tour.
Dans une réalisation de l'invention, le dispositif comporte des moyens aptes à bloquer en rotation l'organe rotatif lors de l'application du produit sur la peau.
Dans une réalisation de l'invention, le dispositif comporte des moyens de fixation amovible de l'élément d'application sur le boítier. Avantageusement, ces moyens de fixation amovible comportent un couvercle pivotant tournant avec le rouleau d'enduction et à rabattre sur l'élément d'application pour retenir ce dernier sur le boítier.
Dans une réalisation de l'invention, le rouleau d'enduction est plaqué par des moyens de rappel élastiques sur l'élément d'application. En variante, ou additionnellement, l'élément d'application est plaqué par des moyens de rappel élastiques sur le rouleau d'enduction.
Avantageusement, le rouleau d'enduction présente une forme épousant celle de l'élément d'application.
Dans une réalisation de l'invention, le produit est contenu dans un réservoir amovible.
Dans une réalisation de l'invention, l'élément d'application est fixé non rotatif sur un organe de préhension amovible et l'élément d'application est réalisé en un matériau alvéolaire ou alvéolaire élastomère.

On a représenté sur la figure 1 un dispositif de conditionnement et d'application 1 conforme à un premier exemple de réalisation de l'invention.
Ce dispositif 1 comporte un boítier 2 renfermant un produit cosmétique 3. Ce dernier est contenu dans une cavité 4 formée en partie inférieure du boítier 2. Une fenêtre 5 en matière plastique transparente donne accès visuellement à l'intérieur de la cavité 4 et permet à l'utilisateur de contrôler l'état de remplissage et/ou la couleur du produit. La fenêtre 5 obture avantageusement une ouverture servant également au remplissage de la cavité 4. Cette dernière débouche supérieurement, par une ouverture 6, dans une cavité 7 à l'intérieur de laquelle peut tourner un rouleau d'enduction 8 autour d'un axe géométrique de rotation X. Le rouleau d'enduction 8 est solidaire d'un arbre 9, reçu à une extrémité axiale dans un évidement 10 du boítier 2. L'arbre 9 traverse à l'autre extrémité axiale le boítier 2 à la faveur d'un perçage 11 pour être muni à l'extérieur du boítier 2 d'une molette d'entraínement 12.
Le rouleau d'enduction 8 occupe la quasi totalité de la cavité 7, seul un léger jeu 13 étant ménagé pour sa rotation.
Une ouverture 14 est pratiquée en partie supérieure du boítier 2 pour le passage d'un élément d'application constitué dans l'exemple décrit par une bille 15. Cette ouverture 14 est délimitée extérieurement par un bord circulaire dont le diamètre est inférieur à celui de la bille 15 de manière à la retenir dans le boítier 2.
La bille 15 présente une région 16 de sa surface située à l'extérieur du boítier et à appliquer sur la peau lors de l'utilisation du dispositif, et une région 17 au contact du rouleau d'enduction 8. Les régions 16 et 17 sont diamétralement opposées et le rouleau d'enduction 8 maintient la bille 15 en place dans l'ouverture 14.
Le rouleau d'enduction 8 présente, dans sa région médiane, une gorge annulaire 18 symétrique de révolution autour de l'axe X et dont le profil est, observé dans un plan de coupe contenant l'axe X, un arc de cercle de rayon adapté à celui de la bille 15. La gorge 18 épouse ainsi la forme de la bille 15 pour le transfert par contact d'une charge de produit recouvrant la surface externe du rouleau d'enduction 8 sur la surface de la bille 15 située dans la région 17.
Avant l'utilisation du dispositif 1 pour l'application du produit, l'utilisateur tourne la molette 12 et amène la portion de la surface du rouleau d'enduction 8 initialement située dans l'ouverture 6, donc chargée en produit 3, au contact de la bille 15. La charge de produit 3 transportée par le rouleau d'enduction 8 est transférée par la pression de contact sur la bille 15. Le frottement entre le rouleau d'enduction 8 et la bille 15 assure également l'entraínement en rotation par le rouleau d'enduction 8 de cette dernière lorsque la molette 12 est tournée. Cette rotation de la bille 15 assure le renouvellement de la surface située dans la région 16 par une surface précédemment située au contact du rouleau d'enduction 8 et chargée en produit 3.
Avantageusement, le rouleau d'enduction est réalisé dans une matière souple et la distance entre l'axe de rotation de la bille et celui du rouleau d'enduction est choisie suffisamment petite pour que la surface du rouleau d'enduction se déforme au contact de la bille, ce qui permet d'assurer un bon contact entre eux et un bon transfert du produit sur la bille.
Pour utiliser le dispositif 1, l'utilisateur déplace la bille 15 au contact de la peau. Le frottement entre la région 16 de la bille 15 et la peau provoque le transfert sur cette dernière du produit.
Pour permettre un transfert efficace du produit sur la peau, la bille 15 ne tourne pas pendant l'application. Pour ce faire, on veille par exemple à ce que le rouleau d'enduction 8 tourne avec un frottement important dans le boítier 2 et l'on maintient une pression de contact suffisante entre la bille 15 et le rouleau d'enduction 8 pour que ce dernier s'oppose à une rotation de la bille 15 lors de l'utilisation.
Le boítier 2 peut être constitué par la réunion de deux demi-coques, assemblées après montage dans l'une de la bille 15 et du rouleau d'enduction 8 solidaire de l'arbre 9.
On a représenté sur les figures 2 et 3 un dispositif 19 conforme à un deuxième exemple de réalisation de l'invention.
Dans la description qui suit, certains éléments fonctionnellement analogues à ceux de la réalisation précédente porteront des signes de références identiques et ne seront pas décrits à nouveau dans le détail.
Le dispositif 19 diffère essentiellement du précédent par le fait que l'élément d'application peut être désolidarisé du boitier lors de l'utilisation.
Plus précisément, l'élément d'application, constitué dans l'exemple décrit par une bille 20, est porté par un support 21 muni d'une poignée 22. Le support 21 comporte un logement sphérique 23 dans lequel la bille 20 est logée et dans lequel elle peut tourner.
La bille 20 présente une région 24 située à l'extérieur du logement 23 et destinée à venir au contact de la peau lors de l'utilisation du dispositif.
Le support 21 et le boítier contenant le produit cosmétique, référencé 25, sont conformés pour s'assembler comme représenté sur la figure 3.
Plus précisément, le support 21 est rapporté par le dessus sur le boítier 25 et la bille 20 pénètre dans un logement 26 formé en partie supérieure de ce dernier. Le rouleau d'enduction 8 débouche par une région 27 de sa surface dans le fond du logement 26. Lorsque le support 21 est en place sur le boítier 25, les régions 24 de la bille 20 et 27 du rouleau d'enduction 8 viennent en contact.
Le rouleau d'enduction 8 est solidaire d'un axe 28 dont les extrémités forment saillie à l'extérieur du boítier 25 et tournent avec un couvercle en forme d'arceau 29 pouvant se rabattre sur le support 21 pour le maintenir en place sur le boítier 25. Avantageusement, comme représenté, l'arceau 29 comporte à son sommet un bossage 30. Ce dernier forme saillie dans la concavité de l'arceau 29 et peut s'encliqueter dans un évidement 31 de la poignée 22 pour immobiliser en rotation l'arceau 29 dans sa position de maintien du support 21 sur le boítier 25. Le basculement de l'arceau 29 entraíne en rotation le rouleau d'enduction 8. Grâce au contact des régions 24 et 27, la bille 20 est entraínée en rotation par le rouleau d'enduction 8 et se charge en produit 3 à son contact.
De préférence, la valeur du rapport des développées du rouleau d'enduction 8 et de la bille 20 est choisie de sorte que la bille 20 effectue au moins une révolution lorsque l'arceau 29 effectue un demi-tour, de manière à ce que le basculement de l'arceau 29 pour libérer le support 21 provoque une charge complète de la bille 20.
A l'instar de la réalisation précédemment décrite, la bille 20 ne tourne pas dans le support 21 au moment de l'application du produit sur la peau. Pour empêcher la bille de tourner lors de l'application, on a prévu des moyens de blocage en rotation de la bille dans le support, par exemple un frottement suffisant entre la bille 20 et le support 21. En variante, on peut munir le support d'un poussoir, non représenté, permettant de bloquer en rotation la bille 20.
On a représenté sur la figure 4 une variante de réalisation dans laquelle la bille 20 est rappelée par un ressort 21' contre le rouleau d'enduction 8. Le ressort 21' est logé dans un évidement 22' de la poignée 22. La bille 20 peut s'enfoncer dans son logement 23' et comprimer le ressort 21'. Le rouleau d'enduction est avantageusement apte à se déformer au contact de la bille 20 pour en épouser la forme en vue d'un transfert efficace de produit.
On a représenté sur la figure 5 un dispositif 32 dans lequel l'élément d'application et le rouleau d'enduction sont portés par un support 33 amovible, à fixer par claquage sur un réservoir 34 contenant le produit. L'élément d'application est dans l'exemple décrit constitué par un rouleau 36 et le rouleau d'enduction 8 est recouvert de poils 35. Il est solidaire à ses extrémités axiales de doigts d'entraínement 37 tournant chacun sur le support 33 et munis de molettes d'entraínement 38 situées à l'extérieur du support 33. Le rouleau 36 est engagé à ses extrémités axiales dans deux logements concaves 39, se faisant face, conformés pour servir de paliers pour le montage à rotation du rouleau 36 sur le support 33.
En variante, le rouleau d'enduction peut être solidaire à ses extrémités d'un arceau servant à maintenir sur le support 33 un couvercle de fermeture, en l'absence d'utilisation du dispositif. A chaque utilisation, l'utilisateur fait effectuer à l'arceau un quart de tour ou plus pour pouvoir enlever ce couvercle, ce qui entraíne en rotation le rouleau d'enduction et charge le rouleau d'application 36 en produit.
Finalement, l'invention permet d'alimenter de façon contrôlée un élément d'application en produit de maquillage.
En choisissant l'étendue des surfaces en contact de l'élément d'application et du rouleau d'enduction, ainsi que la pression de contact, on peut aisément régler la dose distribuée par le dispositif en fonction de la nature du produit.
Lorsque l'élément d'application et le rouleau d'enduction sont logés dans un même boítier, ce dernier est avantageusement conformé de sorte que le rouleau d'enduction isole l'élément d'application de la cavité du boítier contenant le produit, ce qui améliore l'étanchéité du stockage et la conservation du produit.
La présence du rouleau d'enduction fermant la cavité contenant le produit autorise en outre l'amovibilité de l'élément d'application.
En fonction de la pression de contact qui est désirée entre le rouleau d'enduction et l'élément d'application et de la nature du produit à distribuer, on choisira de réaliser le rouleau d'enduction dans une matière plastique pleine ou alvéolaire, à cellules ouvertes ou fermées, cette matière plastique pouvant être un élastomère, une mousse d'élastomère, de polyéthylène, ou de polyuréthanne notamment. Le rouleau peut également être réalisé dans un matériau composite, et présenter des régions de duretés différentes.
La forme du rouleau d'enduction n'est pas limitée aux exemples qui viennent d'être décrits. Ce dernier peut présenter en section axiale, sans sortir du cadre de l'invention, un profil de forme concave, convexe ou autre. La surface du rouleau d'enduction peut également être traitée pour la rendre grasse et favoriser sa charge en produit lorsque ce dernier est pulvérulent. Elle peut encore être non lisse, alvéolaire, et présenter un floquage.
L'élément d'application peut être rotatif ou non, rigide, partiellement flexible ou entièrement flexible. On peut ainsi utiliser à la place d'une bille ou d'un rouleau, un tampon d'application constitué par un bloc de mousse.
On remarquera enfin que le rouleau d'enduction peut compacter, grâce à la pression de contact sur l'élément d'application, le produit sur celui-ci, ce qui est avantageux lorsque le produit est pulvérulent, car on limite les risques d'envolée du produit lors de l'application. La présence du rouleau d'enduction contribue également à l'homogénéité de la distribution de produit sur l'élément d'application, ce qui permet l'exécution d'un maquillage soigné.

Claims (14)

  1. Dispositif (1;19;32) de conditionnement et d'application d'un produit cosmétique (3), comprenant un boítier (2;25;33,34) apte à contenir ledit produit, un élément d'application (15;20;36) pour appliquer ce produit et des moyens de transfert pour alimenter en produit prélevé dans le boítier l'élément d'application, ces moyens de transfert comportant un rouleau d'enduction (8) capable de tourner a l'intérieur du boítier, ce rouleau présentant une région (17) de sa surface capable de venir au contact de l'élément d'application et d'exercer une pression de contact sur ce dernier et une région de sa surface capable de venir au contact du produit contenu dans le boítier, la rotation du rouleau transportant une charge de produit entre lesdites régions pour la transférer grâce à ladite pression de contact à l'élément d'application, caractérisé par le fait que le rouleau d'enduction (8) est solidaire de moyens d'entraínement (12;29) accessibles à l'utilisateur à l'extérieur du boítier.
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que l'élément d'application est un organe rotatif (15;20;36).
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, caractérisé par le fait que le rouleau d'enduction (8) et ledit organe rotatif (15;20;36) sont agencés pour tourner l'un au contact de l'autre et présentent un rapport de développées choisi de sorte que ledit organe rotatif effectue au moins un tour complet lorsque le rouleau d'enduction effectue un demi-tour ou, en variante, un quart de tour.
  4. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 2 et 3, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte des moyens aptes à bloquer en rotation l'organe rotatif lors de l'application du produit sur la peau.
  5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte des moyens de fixation amovible (29) de l'élément d'application (20) sur le boítier (25).
  6. Dispositif selon la revendication 5, caractérisé par le fait que lesdits moyens de fixation amovible comportent un couvercle pivotant (29) tournant avec le rouleau d'enduction (8) et à rabattre sur l'élément d'application pour retenir ce dernier sur le boítier.
  7. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé par le fait que le rouleau d'enduction est plaqué par des moyens de rappel élastiques sur l'élément d'application.
  8. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé par le fait que l'élément d'application (20) est plaqué par des moyens de rappel élastiques (21') sur le rouleau d'enduction (8).
  9. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé par le fait que ledit produit (3) est contenu dans un réservoir amovible (34).
  10. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé par le fait que le boítier comporte une fenêtre transparente (5) permettant d'observer le produit contenu dans celui-ci.
  11. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10, caractérisé par le fait que le boítier est conformé de sorte que le rouleau d'enduction (8) isole l'élément d'application de la cavité (4) contenant le produit.
  12. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11, caractérisé par le fait que le rouleau d'enduction (8) présente une forme épousant celle de l'élément d'application (15).
  13. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 12, caractérisé par le fait que l'élément d'application est fixé non rotatif sur un organe de préhension, amovible et par le fait que l'élément d'application est réalisé en un matériau alvéolaire ou alvéolaire élastomère.
  14. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 13, caractérisé par le fait que ledit rouleau d'enduction est apte à se déformer sous ladite pression de contact.
