Abstract

The machine has a machine housing (1) with a circular inner cross-section, closed by end plates (2) at each axial end. At least one of the shields has a control disc (3), for eccentrically supporting a rotor wheel (5) relative to the inner contour of the machine housing. The machine housing can pivot about a point offset from the machine axis (8) relative to the end plate or control disc, to alter its position relative to the rotor wheel, for optimising the machine operation by adjusting the required pivot position.
