Claims (12)
- Couvercle pour sceller hermétiquement une ouverture (9) comportant une paroi (7) s'étendant sur sensiblement toute la surface de l'ouverture (9) à obturer, un joint (13) s'pendant sur la périphérie de ladite paroi (7), et une chambre périphérique (11) de réception du joint (13), ladite chambre comportant une ouverture périphérique (17) s'étendant sur le pourtour de la chambre (11), ainsi que des moyens (15.2) de compression du joint (13) sur sensiblement toute sa longueur assurant une expansion périphèrique ou radiale du joint (13) sur sensiblement toute sa longueur, de manière à ce qu'il prenne appui sur une surface de réception délimitant l'ouverture (9) à obturer, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de compression du joint (13) comporte un jonc flexible, et en ce que la paroi de la chambre périphérique (11) est solidarisée avec ladite paroi (7) s'étendant sur sensiblement sur toute la surface de l'ouverture (9).
- Couvercle selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un joint (13) compressible de manière à ce qu'une compression selon la normale à la paroi (7) et/ou à l'ouverture (9) à obturer provoque son expansion périphérique ou radiale sensiblement dans le plan de la paroi (7) ou de l'ouverture (9) à obturer.
- Couvercle selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle comporte une ouverture (25) d'introduction longitudinale du jonc dans la chambre (11).
- Couvercle selon la revendication 1, 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que les moyens (15) de compression du joint (13) comportent, en outre, une rondelle (15.1) disposée dans la chambre (11) entre le joint (13) et le jonc (15.2).
- Couvercle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la chambre périphérique (11) a une section sensiblement rectangulaire.
- Couvercle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la paroi (7) et la chambre périphérique (11) sont obtenues par déformation d'une seule pièce en tôle métallique.
- Couvercle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le joint a une forme en C dont la convexité est dirigée vers l'ouverture (17) de la chambre (11).
- Couvercle selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le jonc (15.2) a une section circulaire et une longueur sensiblement égale à la longueur du joint (13), et en ce qu'il est réalisé en une matière présentant une bonne rigidité axiale tout en étant flexible perpendiculairement à son axe, notamment en matière plastique.
- Réservoir, notamment un bidon, comportant une paroi (19) délimitant une ouverture (9) à obturer, ladite paroi (19) comportant une concavité (23) sur la périphérie de l'ouverture (9) à obturer, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un couvercle (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, et en ce que la concavité forme une surface d'appui du joint (13) du couvercle (1) dans une condition fermée.
- Réservoir selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que la concavité (23) est une gorge formant le bord de l'ouverture à obturer.
- Réservoir selon la revendication 9 ou 10, caractérisé en ce que ledit réservoir est un bidon de peinture de forme sensiblement cylindrique.
- Procédé de fermeture d'un réservoir selon la revendication 9, 10, ou 11 avec un couvercle selon l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 8, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une étape consistant à disposer le couvercle (5) sur l'ouverture (9) à obturer et une étape consistant à enfiler le jonc (15.2) dans la chambre périphérique (11) du couvercle (5).
