Abstract

The air passage (1) is connected via a housing (5) to an air conduit, and delivers air into the room in the vertical or horizontal directions as required. The housing has perforations. Where the perforations (11) are in the base (6) of the housing, they can be in the same plane as the passage outlet. The perforations can be situated at intervals round the outer periphery of the base, where this is annular. Where the perforations are formed in the cylindrical housing wall, they can be at intervals in the wall portion joining onto the base. Above the inside housing can be a partition (12) also containing perforations.
