Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for dispensing fuels to vehicles with a housing and at least one nozzle provided with a nozzle, which in the starting position with a nozzle attached to the housing runs between the nozzle and a fastening of its hose beginning arranged on the housing in a loop and the when pulled apart for the refueling process is loaded by a return spring in the direction of its starting position, the return spring acting on the delivery hose via a boom.
Devices of this type for delivering fuels to vehicles are known in various designs. For example, US-A-2 986 364 shows a dispenser of the type mentioned at the beginning, in which a telescopic suspension is arranged on the outside of the housing, which acts on the dispensing hose via an extension arm and returns it to the starting position after the dispensing valve has been suspended. In this known device, both the return device and the dispensing hose are arranged with their entire length on the outside of the housing, so that they take up a lot of space on the one hand and are not protected against mechanical damage on the other hand.
Furthermore, EP 0 369 089 B1 shows a dispensing device in which the dispensing hose is guided over a roller, which in the rest position is guided by a Weight is pulled up. If the dispensing hose is pulled out of the housing to refuel a vehicle, the roller moves downward against the force of the weight. Another delivery device is known from DE-U-87 08 333, in which the dispensing hose is guided in the interior of the housing via a fixed roller arranged below the housing hood and forms a loop between this guide and its fixed end. In this loop rests a roller that can be moved vertically via lever arms and, due to its weight, also generates the retraction force for the dispensing hose.
In these known devices, the user must exert a certain force in order to pull the dispensing hose out of the housing against a retraction force for the refueling process. This effort can be quite large if the vehicle to be refueled is far away from the fuel pump, so that the entire length of the fuel hose must be pulled out of the housing.
Another disadvantage of the known devices is that the design effort for guiding and retracting the hose into the starting position is relatively large, so that the known devices are expensive.
The invention has for its object to develop a device of the type described in such a way that the dispensing hose can be pulled out of the housing by the user without any significant effort and yet is ensured with the aid of a simple and inexpensive construction that the dispensing hose is available after the fueling process has ended automatically pulled back into the housing so that damage to the unused dispensing hose and - in the presence of several dispensing hoses - mutual hindrance are excluded.
The solution to this problem by the invention is characterized in that the dispensing hose, the hose beginning of which is arranged in the upper part of the housing, for the refueling process with the largest Part of its length can be pulled out of the housing through an opening and that the return spring is arranged within the housing and the boom can be swung out of the housing through the opening provided for the removal of the dispensing hose.
The use of such a return spring engaging via a cantilever on the dispensing hose results in a particularly simple construction, the return spring being designed only to pull the dispensing hose back into its initial position within the housing after the dispensing valve has been hung up. Since there are no deflection pulleys and energy accumulators as well as motor drives for the return of the dispensing hose, this results in an inexpensive and yet safely functioning construction that can also be retrofitted to existing dispensing points.
According to a further feature of the invention, the free end of the boom surrounds the dispensing hose by means of an oval-shaped guide opening, so that it is guided so that it can move longitudinally within the guide opening.
In a further development according to the invention, the return spring is designed as a leg spring, which is arranged horizontally with its longitudinal axis, is fastened at one end and is connected at its other end to the extension arm. This results in a particularly simple construction both for the return spring and for the boom that can be pivoted out of the dispensing hose removal opening. A further improvement can be achieved in that, according to the invention, the return spring designed as a leg spring is made in one piece from spring steel with the extension arm and the guide opening designed as an eyelet.
In order to create a particularly simple fastening of the return spring within the housing, the return spring is arranged and fastened according to a further feature of the invention on a support rod arranged horizontally within the housing. The support rod is preferably arranged at a medium height within the housing.
If the device for delivering fuels to vehicles is equipped with a plurality of dispensing hoses, the invention further proposes to arrange the return springs at least of the dispensing hoses which can be pulled out of the housings on the same side on a common support rod.
In a device with a plurality of dispensing hoses which can be pulled out of the housing on either side, the return springs of the dispensing hoses which can be pulled out on each side are arranged according to the invention on a common support rod, so that a total of two support rods are provided.
Finally, the invention proposes to arrange a separating rod in the lower part of the housing in devices with at least one dispensing hose which can be pulled out of the housing from one side, so that the dispensing hoses retracted into the starting position within the housing by means of the return springs according to the invention reach behind and thus hinder pulling out.

The device for delivering fuels to vehicles shown on the basis of an exemplary embodiment comprises a
For the respective refueling process, the respectively selected
So that the dispensing
In the exemplary embodiment, each
As can be seen from FIG. 3, one end of the
After the refueling process has been completed, the
In order to prevent the dispensing
