Seitliche Druckrollen und im Unterteil der Presse höhenverstellbar angeordnete Prismen dienen als Widerlager für die Wirkung des oberen Pressenwerkzeuges, um das U-förmige Vorrohr anzubiegen. Das derartig vorgeformte Blech gelangt in die O-Presse, in der eine von der Rohrlänge abhängige Anzahl von Einzelpressen in einer starren Rahmenkonstruktion zusammengefaßt sind. Die Pressenholme sind so ausgebildet, daß eine gleichmäßige Verteilung der Preßkräfte auf die vorgesehenen Preßzylinder gewährleistet ist, wobei an dem oberen Laufholm, der an dem Pressenständer geführt ist, die oberen Pressenwerkzeuge befestigt sind.
