Claims (10)
- Device for spraying a coating product, forming a roof machine comprising two frames (2, 3) supporting a beam (5) which can move vertically with respect to the said frames and rotationally about an axis (YY') parallel to its longest dimension, at least one carriage (6) carrying at least one sprayer (7, 8) being capable of moving along the said beam, characterized in that, over the greater part of its length, the said beam is formed from two parallel members (20, 21) which are spaced apart so as to define a space (22) between them and in that the said carriage is mounted so as to move between the said members and extends at least partially in the said space.
- Device according to Claim 1, installed in a spray booth provided with means capable of creating therein a dominant draught of air, characterized in that the said beam is arranged so that the said dominant draught of air (F) causes, in the space (22) defined between the two members, a flow of air having approximately the same direction as that of the said spraying of the coating product.
- Device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the said carriage (6) traverses right across the said space (22).
- Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the said carriage is driven so as to move along the said beam (5) by a set of belts (27, 28) located away from the said sprayer (7, 8) with respect to the rotation axis (YY') of the said beam.
- Device according to Claim 4, characterized in that the said belts (27, 28) are housed in the said members (20, 21), the outer faces of the said belts being in the open air opposite, respectively, two openings (20A, 21A) made in the upper walls of the said members.
- Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the said sprayer is housed on the end of an extension (11) of the said carriage located on the side facing the object (1) to be coated.
- Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that the sprayer (7, 8) is fixed to an arm (12) linked to the said extension (11) by a wrist (13) allowing the said arm to undergo a pivoting movement.
- Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that the said extension (11) is profiled so as to cause the minimum of aerodynamic disturbance while it is moving.
- Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the hoses for supplying the coating product (30), on the one hand, and the hoses for supplying air and the electrical cables (31), on the other hand, are housed, respectively, in each of the two members (20, 21).
- Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that at least one part (116, 26, 11) of the said carriage carrying the said sprayer (7, 8) is capable of movements perpendicular to the axis (YY') of the said beam (5).
