Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that the spraying with the coating product, in a spray booth (22), during the movements of the spray device (16) parallel with the predominant airflow (F) established in the said booth, takes place during the movements of the said spray device in the opposite direction to the said airflow.
  4. Method according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said object is a motor-vehicle body (1).
  5. Installation for spraying a coating product, comprising a roof machine (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) which includes a beam (15) carrying at least one spray device (16) and means (3) for transporting the objects (1) to be coated in a straight line, which means are capable of interrupting the advance of the said objects, characterized in that it furthermore comprises a pivoting support (2a, 2b) capable of rotating the said objects through approximately 90° about a vertical axis.
  6. Installation according to Claim 5, in which the said roof machine includes a beam (15) carrying at least one coating-product spray device (16), characterized in that the said beam can move translationally in vertical movements and in tracking movements parallel to the axis (XX') of the means for transporting the said objects.
  7. Installation according to either of Claims 5 and 6, characterized in that the coating product is pulverulent.
  8. Installation according to either of Claims 5 and 6, characterized in that the coating product is liquid.
