- the internal thread is screwed onto the mating thread of the cartridge, causing the needle to pierce the rubber membrane and medication to be expelled through the needle.
- this type of fastening has the disadvantage that rubbed rubber particles can often be found in the medication.
- the needle holder 3 shown in FIG. 2 avoids this problem.
- the needle holder 3 consists of a sleeve 6 with a needle receiving bearing 8.
- the sleeve contains at least two click holders 2 with click cams 1 formed thereon.
- the needle holder 3 forms a click lock by pushing the needle holder 3 onto the carpule 4 is and the click cams 1 engage resiliently in the threads of the carpule 4.
- the needle holder 3 can be unscrewed by rotating the carpule 4 or a carpule holder containing the carpule 4 or can also be pulled off with force.
- the click cams l are arranged so that they correspond approximately to the pitch of the thread.
- the click holders 2 are recessed so that in the case of an unfavorable positioning, that is, when the click cams (1) come to rest on the thread tip, the click holder 2 does not look out over the outer edge of the needle holder 3.
