- the present invention relates to snow gliding sports equipment of the type constituted by a single board having a raised spatula, on which two bindings can be mounted for securing the shoes with said board.
- Two types of gliding devices for snow are known in the prior art, using a single board. These are monoskis, as described for example in French patent No. 2604631 or American patent US-3947049, in which the two bindings are parallel and are arranged on the same transverse line, or the surfboards, for example disclosed by French Patent No. FR-2600548 comprising a front fixing oriented longitudinally and a rear position oriented transversely, the user being placed in a semi-lateral position.
- German patent DE-2557275 discloses a monoski consisting of a board on which the bindings are in longitudinal position offset one behind the other. To overcome the lack of maneuverability of the device described, it has a convex profile, and the skier uses a guide cord fixed to the front of the monoski, allowing it to give an impulse for entering the curve.
- German patent DE-3903401 describes a sliding device.
- US Pat. No. 3,900,204 discloses a gliding board with a width of approximately 10 to 12 inches, or 25.4 to 30.5 centimeters, on which the bindings are fixed to form a angle of around 45 ° with the longitudinal axis. The user is directed to one of the edges, and stands substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the board.
- the object of the present invention is to provide new gliding equipment capable of providing sensations different from those produced with the equipment of the prior art, and capable of being used both on powder snow and on groomed tracks. Furthermore, with respect to surfing, the invention aims to allow the user a better view of the slope, in particular during the end of the turn phase, where the surfer bearing on the toes is back to the slope.
- the equipment according to the present invention is more particularly characterized in that a first attachment is positioned on the board in a manner which is not mobile in rotation or in translation in a position in which its longitudinal axis forms with the median longitudinal axis of the board. an angle between 0 degrees and 20 degrees, and preferably between 4 and 16 degrees, in that the second attachment is positioned on the board in a non-movable manner in rotation or in translation in a position in which its longitudinal axis forms with l 'median longitudinal axis of the board an angle between 0 degrees and 20 degrees, and preferably between 4 and 16 degrees, and in that said fasteners are arranged in longitudinal offset, so that the distance, measured on the longitudinal axis, between the line perpendicular to the longitudinal median axis of the board passing through the front end of the rearmost shoe and the perp line ndicular to the longitudinal median axis of the board passing through the rear end of the second shoe is at most equal to 100 millimeters.
- the user's bust is naturally positioned towards the spatula and his feet substantially one behind the other.
- the median axes of the two fasteners are parallel, the fasteners being positioned symmetrically with respect to an oblique axis forming an angle between 4 ° and 16 ° with the longitudinal axis of the board.
- the width of the board at its center is substantially equal to 1.5 times the width of a shoe.
- the width of the board at its center is around 140 millimeters.
- the gliding device according to this embodiment has improved comfort of use and greater maneuverability.
- the middle of each of the bindings is positioned on the median longitudinal axis of the board, the bindings being parallel and positioned one behind the other so that the tip of the front binding reaches the level from one of the lateral edges of the board, and the heel of the rear binding arrives at the opposite lateral edge of the board, the median axes of the two bindings being parallel and forming with the median longitudinal axis an angle of approximately 7 °.
- the point of the front binding and the heel of the rear binding is positioned on the median longitudinal axis of the board, the point of the rear binding and the heel of the front binding being positioned on the opposite lateral edges of the board.
- the points and heels of the two feet of the skier form a support polygon in the shape of a diamond with respect to the median longitudinal axis of the board, which guarantees a satisfactory balancing of the gliding apparatus.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to snow gliding sports equipment of the type constituted by a single board having a raised spatula, on which two bindings can be mounted for securing the shoes with said board.
Two types of gliding devices for snow are known in the prior art, using a single board.
Hybrid gliding devices have also been proposed in the prior art. For example, German patent DE-2557275 discloses a monoski consisting of a board on which the bindings are in longitudinal position offset one behind the other. To overcome the lack of maneuverability of the device described, it has a convex profile, and the skier uses a guide cord fixed to the front of the monoski, allowing it to give an impulse for entering the curve.
Another document, German patent DE-3903401 describes a sliding device.
Also known in the prior art is US Pat. No. 3,900,204 which discloses a gliding board with a width of approximately 10 to 12 inches, or 25.4 to 30.5 centimeters, on which the bindings are fixed to form a angle of around 45 ° with the longitudinal axis. The user is directed to one of the edges, and stands substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the board.
The object of the present invention is to provide new gliding equipment capable of providing sensations different from those produced with the equipment of the prior art, and capable of being used both on powder snow and on groomed tracks. Furthermore, with respect to surfing, the invention aims to allow the user a better view of the slope, in particular during the end of the turn phase, where the surfer bearing on the toes is back to the slope.

The equipment according to the present invention is more particularly characterized in that a first attachment is positioned on the board in a manner which is not mobile in rotation or in translation in a position in which its longitudinal axis forms with the median longitudinal axis of the board. an angle between 0 degrees and 20 degrees, and preferably between 4 and 16 degrees, in that the second attachment is positioned on the board in a non-movable manner in rotation or in translation in a position in which its longitudinal axis forms with l 'median longitudinal axis of the board an angle between 0 degrees and 20 degrees, and preferably between 4 and 16 degrees, and in that said fasteners are arranged in longitudinal offset, so that the distance, measured on the longitudinal axis, between the line perpendicular to the longitudinal median axis of the board passing through the front end of the rearmost shoe and the perp line ndicular to the longitudinal median axis of the board passing through the rear end of the second shoe is at most equal to 100 millimeters.
The user's bust is naturally positioned towards the spatula and his feet substantially one behind the other.
Preferably, the median axes of the two fasteners are parallel, the fasteners being positioned symmetrically with respect to an oblique axis forming an angle between 4 ° and 16 ° with the longitudinal axis of the board.
According to a preferred embodiment, the width of the board at its center is substantially equal to 1.5 times the width of a shoe. Advantageously, the width of the board at its center is around 140 millimeters.
The gliding device according to this embodiment has improved comfort of use and greater maneuverability.
According to a first variant, the middle of each of the bindings is positioned on the median longitudinal axis of the board, the bindings being parallel and positioned one behind the other so that the tip of the front binding reaches the level from one of the lateral edges of the board, and the heel of the rear binding arrives at the opposite lateral edge of the board, the median axes of the two bindings being parallel and forming with the median longitudinal axis an angle of approximately 7 °.
According to a second variant, the point of the front binding and the heel of the rear binding is positioned on the median longitudinal axis of the board, the point of the rear binding and the heel of the front binding being positioned on the opposite lateral edges of the board. The points and heels of the two feet of the skier form a support polygon in the shape of a diamond with respect to the median longitudinal axis of the board, which guarantees a satisfactory balancing of the gliding apparatus.
Preferably, the board comprises a rounded spatula, a central part provided with a lateral edge delimited on either side by arcs of a circle, and a heel has a right lateral segment on both sides.
- the cord connecting the widest front part to the widest rear part,
and - a point located on the narrowest part of the board.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the edge between the concave edge and the start of the spatula is straight. This straight segment provides a progressive attack when the edge is taken, and avoids overly nervous reactions from the board liable to unbalance the user whose lift triangle is reduced due to the configuration of the equipment according to the invention. Advantageously, the length of the straight part between the start of the spatula and the curved part is between 2 and 25 centimeters.
According to a preferred embodiment, the front binding is positioned so that the middle of the front of the shoe is located on the median longitudinal axis of the board, the rear binding is positioned so that the middle from the back of the shoe are located on the median longitudinal axis of the board.
According to another variant, the board also has a straight part between the rear end of the curved part and the start of the heel.
Preferably, the center of curvature of each of the circular arcs is located on the line perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the board, cutting the latter at a point respectively in front of the front attachment and behind the rear attachment. .
In this case, the board has a slight asymmetry, the hollows being offset longitudinally.
Preferably, the central hollow of the board is between 1 and 3 centimeters.
According to a variant, the equipment according to the invention comprises a connecting plate comprising two fastenings for shoes, the board comprising two longitudinal safety fasteners for securing the connecting plate to the board.
- a rear wedge with a thickness of between 5 and 30 millimeters, said rear wedge being fixed on the connection plate in an angularly adjustable manner,
- a front wedge with a thickness of between 5 and 30 millimeters, said rear wedge being fixed on the connection plate in an angularly adjustable manner,
- two central wedges with a thickness of between 0 and 20 millimeters, said central wedges being fixed to the connection plate in a laterally adjustable manner.
The shoe fastening means are integral with the wedges.

The equipment according to the invention, an exemplary embodiment of which is described in FIG. 1, includes a board (1) which has a spatula (2) at its front part and a heel (3) at its rear part. The total length of the board varies depending on the size and weight of the skier. As an example, the length is 178 centimeters.
The width of the board (1), measured in the middle of the board, is between 105 and 150 millimeters, in the present example 140 millimeters.
La partie centrale (4) présente un axe longitudinal médian (5).The central part (4) has a median longitudinal axis (5).
The hollow of the board, in its middle part, is between 10 and 30 millimeters, preferably of the order of 25 millimeters. The maximum width is of the order of 230 millimeters at the start of the tip (2) and of the order of 220 millimeters at the start of the heel (3).
The center of the circle or the center of the two focal points determining an elliptical arc is placed on the perpendicular (22, 23) the median longitudinal axis (5) of the board (1) passing between the front of the front fixing and the rear of the rear attachment, if the board is symmetrical. In the case where the board is asymmetrical, the centers of the left and right arc of a circle, or the middle of the two focal points defining the arcs left and right ellipticals are offset longitudinally, and are for example situated slightly behind and slightly in front of the perpendicular axis passing through the middle of the centers of the two fixings (the left fixture being the most advanced in the example described).
Between the start (25, 26) of the spatula (2) and the start of the curves (20, 21) the board (1) has a substantially straight edge segment (27, 28) facilitating edge grip and improving stability at the start of the turn. The two rectilinear segments (27) and (28) are of identical length, and the angle β relative to the longitudinal median axis (5) of the board (1) is determined by the tangent of the curved segment which it extends .
Similarly, it is possible to provide straight segments (30, 31) between the rear part of the curved sectors (20, 21) and the beginning (32, 33) of the heel (3). The length of these straight segments (30, 31) is substantially equal to the length of the front straight segments (27, 28) is of the order of 10 centimeters, and preferably between 2 centimeters and 25 centimeters.
The central zone of the central part of the board (1) allows the attachment of a connecting plate (100) for fixing ski or snowboard boots. This connecting plate comprises two fasteners (6, 7) described in more detail with reference to Figures 2 and 3 in the following. The longitudinal axis (8) of the fixing (6) forms with the longitudinal axis (5) of the board (1) an adjustable angle between 1 degrees and 16 degrees.
The longitudinal axis (9) of the rear attachment (7) forms with the longitudinal axis (5) of the board (1) an adjustable angle between 1 degrees and 16 degrees. The longitudinal axes (8, 9) of the two fasteners respectively (6, 7) are preferably parallel.
The perpendicular (10) to the longitudinal axis (5) of the board (1), passing through the rear end of the most advanced fixing (6) is behind, or at most combined, with the perpendicular (11) to the longitudinal axis (5) of the board (1), passing through the rear end of the most distant fixing (7). The distance between the two perpendiculars (10) and (11) is between 0 and 100 millimeters and is preferably of the order of 50 millimeters.
The board (1) has two safety fasteners (101, 102) of known type, arranged on the median longitudinal axis (5) of the board. These fixings are fixed by screwing, in a longitudinal orientation. They are spaced apart by a distance corresponding substantially to the length of the connecting plate (100), which corresponds approximately to the length of two ski boots, ie of the order of 500 millimeters.
The connecting plate (100) consists of a plate having a generally diamond shape. The length, measured on the median longitudinal axis, and of 500 millimeters, and the width measured on the median transverse axis, is slightly less than the width of the board (1). The rear end (103) of the plate (100) is cut to present a rounded zone extending over approximately 30 degrees on either side of the median longitudinal axis, with a radius of curvature of the order of 30 millimeters, so as to present the usual profile of the heel of a ski boot.
The front end (104) of the plate (100) is cut to present a rounded zone extending over approximately 25 degrees on either side of the median longitudinal axis, with a radius of curvature of the order of 25 millimeters, so as to present the usual profile of the tip of a ski boot.
The central part (105) of the connecting plate (100) is rectangular, with a length of about 120 millimeters.
The rear part (106) of the connecting plate (100) has two shaped lights (108, 109) coaxial arcs of circle, symmetrical with respect to the median longitudinal axis.
Likewise, the front part (110) of the connecting plate (100) has two slots (111, 112) in the form of coaxial arcs of a circle, symmetrical with respect to the median longitudinal axis.
The central part (105) has on either side of the median axis two lumens respectively (113, 114) and (115, 116) symmetrical in pairs with respect to the median longitudinal axis.
The lights (113, 115) are constituted by arcs of a circle whose center of curvature corresponds to the center (117) of the rear lights (108, 109), and whose angular opening covers a sector comprised between 1 degree and 16 degrees relative to the median longitudinal axis of the connecting plate (100).
The sections of the lights (108, 109, 111 to 116) have a first lower part whose width corresponds to the section of the head of a fixing bolt, and an upper part whose width corresponds to the section of the body of said bolt of fixation.
The connecting plate supports a pair of fasteners respectively (120, 121) and (122, 123) of known type of surf shoes. The fasteners (120 to 123) are secured to the connection plate (100) by means of screws passing through the slots (108, 109, 111 to 116). Wedges (130 to 133) are interposed between the upper surface of the connecting plate (100) and the fasteners respectively (120 to 123). The front (130) and rear (133) wedges interposed between the plate and respectively the heel binding (120) of the rearmost shoe (135) and the toe binding (123) of the most advanced shoe (136) are thicker than the middle wedges (131, 132).
The thickness of the end wedges (130, 133) is approximately 20 millimeters, and the thickness of the middle wedges (131, 132) is approximately 10 millimeters.
The middle wedges (131, 132) are positioned on two opposite middle lumens, either (113, 116) or (115, 114).
The semi-circular shape of the rear lights (108, 109) and the front lights (111, 112) and the elongated shape of the middle lights (113 to 116) allow the angular positioning of the fixings (120 to 123) to be adjusted between a angle of 1 ° and an angle of 16 ° relative to the longitudinal axis of the connecting plate (100).
The shapes of the wedges (130 to 133) are determined to cooperate with the profile of the surf shoes (135, 136).
The connecting plate (100) has at its rear part (106) a ski stop (140) whose form and operation are known in the prior art.
The fixing plate (100) is secured to the board (1) by means of safety fixings (101, 102) guaranteeing a separation of the connecting plate (100) relative to the board if the torque undergone by the skier exceeds an adjustable predetermined value.
Figures 3 and 4 show an alternative embodiment of the fasteners for a sliding device according to the invention, respectively in sectional view and in top view.
These stops (101, 102) are offset laterally with respect to the median longitudinal axis (5) and form therewith an angle α of approximately 7 degrees. The two fixings (101, 102) are spaced apart by a distance corresponding substantially to the length of two ski boots. They are fixed to the board by screws in a known manner. The rear retaining stop (101) is provided with a ski stop (140).
The fastenings further comprise a median retaining assembly (260) constituted by two stops (261, 262) movable longitudinally relative to a guide rail (263). The front retaining stop (261) cooperates with the heel of the most advanced shoe, and is offset laterally, in the example illustrated, to the left of the board.
Il assure le guidage des éléments de retenue (261, 262) selon une direction sensiblement parallèle à l'axe médian (5).The rear retaining stop (262) cooperates with the tip of the rearmost shoe, and is laterally offset, in the example illustrated, to the right of the board. The guide rail (263) is arranged on the median longitudinal axis (5) of the board. It guides the retaining elements (261, 262) in a direction substantially parallel to the median axis (5).
A spring (264) acting on two slides (266, 267) respectively secured to the retaining stops (261), (262) push it against the ends of the shoes. The spring is calibrated so as to allow heaving when the stresses exerted on the skier's legs exceed a predetermined value.
Figures 5 and 6 show a second alternative embodiment of the fasteners for a sliding device according to the invention, respectively in sectional view and in top view.
La butée de retenu arrière (101) est munie d'un stop-ski (140).The bindings include, as in the previously described variant, a rear safety stop (101) and a front safety stop (102) of known type. These stops (101, 102) are offset laterally with respect to the median longitudinal axis (5) and form therewith an angle α of approximately 7 degrees. The two bindings (101, 102) are spaced apart by a distance corresponding substantially to the length of two ski boots. They are fixed on the board by screws in a known manner. The rear retaining stop (101) is provided with a ski stop (140).
The set of fasteners further comprises two middle stops (271, 272) supported by a plate (273) fixed to the board (1) by screws (274, 275).
The central stops (271, 272) are articulated relative to the fixed plate (273) by means of two pivots respectively (276, 277) substantially perpendicular to the surface of the board (1). The stops (271, 272) are mechanically coupled by toothed sectors respectively (278, 279). The pivoting of one of the middle stops causes the other stop to pivot along an angular stroke of the same amplitude. A return spring (280) returns the central stops to the rest position in which they form with the longitudinal central axis (5) an angle identical to the angle formed by the longitudinal axis of the safety stops (101, 102) with the longitudinal axis (5), about 7 °.
The total length of the board varies depending on the size and weight of the skier. As an example, the length is 178 centimeters. The dimensions are indicated for an adult sliding device. It is understood that for a gliding apparatus for children, the dimensions will have to be reduced proportionally while maintaining the same ratio.
The width of the board (201), measured in the middle of the board, is between 110 and 150 millimeters, in the present example 100 millimeters.
The central part (204) has a median longitudinal axis (205). The central zone of the central part of the board (201) allows the attachment of two bindings (206, 7) for fixing ski or snowboard boots.
The longitudinal axis (208) of the binding (206) and the longitudinal axis (209) of the rear binding (207) form with the longitudinal axis (205) of the board (201) an angle of approximately + 7 degrees.
The perpendicular (210) to the longitudinal axis (205) of the board (201), passing through the rear end of the most advanced fixing (206) is in front, or at most confused, with the perpendicular (211) to the longitudinal axis (205) of the board (201), passing through the rear end of the most remote fixing (207). The distance between the rear end of the front attachment (206) and the front end of the rear attachment (207) is between 0 and 300 millimeters and is preferably of the order of 50 millimeters.
Les centres (212, 213) des fixations respectivement (206, 207) sont décalés latéralement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal médian (205) de la planche (201).The centers (212, 213) of the fasteners respectively (206, 207) are offset laterally with respect to the median longitudinal axis (205) of the board (201).
The hollow of the board, in its middle part, is between 14 and 30 millimeters, preferably of the order of 25 millimeters. The maximum width is of the order of 230 millimeters at the level of the start of the tip (202) and of the order of 220 millimeters at the level of the start of the heel (203).
The center of the circle or the center of the two foci determining an elliptical arc is placed on the perpendicular (222, 223) the median longitudinal axis (205) of the board (201) passing substantially through the middle of the centers of the fixings (206 and 207), in the case where the board is symmetrical. In the case where the board is asymmetrical, the centers of the left and right arc of a circle, or the middle of the two foci defining the left and right elliptical arcs are located slightly back and slightly in respectively before the perpendicular axis passing through the middle of the centers of the two fixings (the left fixation being the most advanced).
Between the start (225, 226) of the tip (202) and the start of the curves (220, 221) the board (201) has a substantially straight edge segment (227, 228) facilitating edge grip and improving stability at the start of the turn. The two rectilinear segments (227) and (228) are of identical length, and the angle β relative to the longitudinal median axis (205) of the board (201) is determined by the tangent of the curved segment which they extend .
In the same way, it is possible to provide straight segments (230, 231) between the rear part of the curved sectors (220, 221) and the beginning (232, 233) of the heel (203). The length of these straight segments (230, 231) is substantially equal to the length of the front straight segments (227, 228) is of the order of 10 centimeters, and preferably between 2 centimeters and 25 centimeters.
