Claims (10)

  1. Vibration damper device fixed on one side to the tub of a washing machine and on the other side to a stationary part of this machine, having at least three degrees of freedom, a linear first damping means composed of a plate (6) for the rubbing of pads interacting with rotational second damping means comprising an articulation having at least two degrees of freedom, characterized in that the articulation having at least two degrees of freedom consists of a spherical part (31) which is fixed to the plate (6) and clamped between two jaws (33, 34), a rod (36) passing through the jaws (33, 34) and the spherical part (31), one of the ends of the rod (36) being fixed to a first jaw (33) and the other end being fastened to the second jaw (34) by means of a spring system (37) so as to ensure that the spherical part (31) is clamped, a material (38) having a given coefficient of friction being placed between the jaws (33, 34) and the spherical part (31), the spherical part (31) rotating about a first axis (32) along the rod (36) and rotating about a second axis, conical openings (39) being made in the spherical part (31) in order to allow it to rotate about this second axis.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the forces relating to the rotational damping means are less than the force relating to the linear damping means.
  3. Device according to either of the preceding claims, characterized in that the forces relating to the rotational damping means are different from each other.
  4. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the damping means which interacts with the articulation having at least two degrees of freedom includes a spring element in the form of a U, the ends of which grip around the plate (6) by means of guided rubbing pads.
  5. Device according to Claim 4, characterized in that the pads are guided onto the plate (6) by its rim (7), this rim being turned down on the same side of the plate (6).
  6. Device according to Claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the pads are provided on one of their faces and at their centre with a cavity allowing articulation of these pads about the ends of the spring wire.
  7. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the damper means is fixed to the moving part and the articulation to the stationary part of the machine.
  8. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the damper means is fixed to the stationary part and the articulation to the moving part of the machine.
  9. Washing machine, characterized in that it includes at least one vibration damper device such as the one characterized in the preceding claims.
  10. Washing machine according to Claim 9, characterized in that it includes several of these vibration damper devices oriented in various directions.
