Description

The present invention relates to a stringing device for perforated paper goods or the like, consisting of a tacking strip and at least two stringing tongues made of a plastic tube, which are attached to the tacking strip according to the hole spacing of the paper goods to be stapled, and a cover rail with clamping tongues for fixing the stringing tongues, in holes are formed in the tacking strip, the plugs with their plug shafts run through them, and the associated tubular row tongues are pushed onto and held on the free ends of the plug shafts protruding from the holes and the plugs with a plug base part on the side facing away from the row tongues Baste strips.

From DE-B-1 073 445 a similar line-up device for perforated paper material or the like is known, which consists of a tack strip with holes formed in it, as well as at least two line-up tongues and a cover rail with clamping tongues for fixing the line-up tongues. The row tongues consist of a plastic tube and are attached to the binding strip according to the hole spacing of the paper material to be stapled. In this line-up device, the two binding strips are connected by a tubular middle part, which is used for the braiding is flattened on the tacking strip, the flattened walls of the central part being welded together in a known manner. This formation of the line-up device is relatively complex to manufacture, since the braiding of the flattened middle part and the welding of the walls of the middle part require a considerable amount of production effort.

From DE-A-2 231 115 a line-up device with tubular line-up tongues is known. Here, the row tongues are connected to the staple strips by attaching them to the back of the staple strips by riveting with staples. Here, too, it is necessary to flatten the ends of the row tongues to be fastened. This type of fastening also has the disadvantage that the production is relatively complex.

In this line-up device, the line-up tongues are held on the plugs by designing the plug as screws or by increasing the friction between line-up tongues and plug shaft with the help of small barbs on Plug shaft.

The object of the present invention is to improve the aligning device described at the outset in such a way that secure attachment of the aligning tongues to the tacking strip is ensured, but is inexpensive Attachment of the row tongues to the tack strips is achieved.

According to the invention, this is made possible by the fact that a frustoconical head part is formed at the free end of the plug shaft and the line-up tongue pushed onto the plug encloses the head part in a form-fitting manner in such a way that the line-up tongue is stretched in the area of the head part, but is radially rebounded in the area of the plug shaft.

The inventive configuration of the line-up device achieves both secure and cost-effective fastening of the line-up tongues on the tacking strip, it being particularly advantageous that the holding force increases when the line-up tongue is pulled axially.

The production of the line-up device according to the invention is also simple insofar as it is not necessary, in order to achieve a secure hold of the line-up tongues on the booklet strip, to take measures which are more complex in terms of production technology, such as flattening the end of the line-up tongues to be fastened to the booklet strip or the tubular line-up tongues through those in the booklet strips through holes or screw the plugs with the row tongues.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are contained in the subclaims.

In the individual FIGS. 1 to 8, the same parts are provided with the same reference numbers.

As can be seen from FIG. 8e, a line-up device according to the invention, in particular for perforated paper material, consists of a booklet strip 1 and at least two line-up tongues 2 which are fastened to the booklet strip 1 in accordance with the hole spacing of the paper material to be stapled. The Aufreihzungen 2 are formed from a plastic tube, which is preferably made of a thermoplastic material, in particular polyethylene. The plastic tube advantageously has an inner diameter of approximately 2.5 mm and an outer diameter of 3.5 mm. Furthermore, the line-up device according to the invention consists of a cover rail 3 with clamping tongues 4 for fixing the line-up tongues 2, as shown in FIG. 8f. The tacking strip 1 can be designed as a single tacking strip or also be part of a stapler. Holes 6 are formed in the binding strip 1, see FIG. 8d. The distance between these holes 6 corresponds to the distance between the holes in the perforated paper stock. Furthermore, it can be seen that an approximately U-shaped return bracket 8 is advantageously inserted into the open ends 7 of the row tongues 2, the free ends of which extend the row tongues 2. The replacement bracket 8 can be inserted into the open ends 7 of the line-up tongues 2 with peg-shaped extensions 9 formed at its free ends - see FIGS can be pulled out.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the line-up device according to the invention furthermore has plugs 11 which run with their plug shaft 12 through the holes 6 of the binding strip 1. These plugs 11 are preferably made of plastic, in particular a thermoplastic material, preferably polyethylene. The plugs 11 have a foot part 13 and a head part 14. On the head part 14, a tubular row tongue 2 is pushed in such a way that it is held in a form-fitting manner, as shown in the exemplary embodiment shown. For this purpose, the head part 14 has the shape of a truncated cone, the smaller truncated cone surface 15 - that is the end face of the head part 14 - having a smaller diameter than the inner diameter of the row tongue 2. The diameter of the larger truncated cone surface 16 is larger than the inner diameter of the row tongue 2 The result of this is that when the tubular tongue 2 is pushed on, it is stretched radially elastically and, as soon as the tongue 2 has been pushed over the head part 14 and has passed the larger truncated cone surface 16 with its lower end, it springs back radially and the head part 14 thereby has a positive fit encloses in the area of the larger truncated cone surface 16. Furthermore, this configuration according to the invention has the effect that, in the case of an axial pull in the direction of the arrow X, the hose diameter narrows, thereby increasing the holding force. Furthermore, it can be seen that the plug 11 lies in the inserted state in the stringing tongue 2 with its foot part 13 against the back 17 of the binding strip 1. By preferably, as shown in FIG. 1, the diameter of the holes 6 in the tacking strip 1 is smaller than the outside diameter of the stringing tongues 2, the tacking strip 1 is enclosed between the foot part 13 and the lower end face 18 of the stringing tongues 2. The diameter of the holes 6 is preferably 3.5 mm or smaller. The diameter of the larger truncated cone surface 16 is preferably the same or slightly larger than the diameter of the holes 6.

Instead of the positive connection shown in FIG. 1 between the row tongues and the plug shaft, it can also be advantageous if a connection is made by material locking, in particular by welding or gluing.

In Fig. 2 it is shown that as an additional securing of the connection between the row tongues 2 and the plugs 11 on the row tongues 2, a perforated disk 19 can be pushed as far as it will go onto the booklet strip 1. This perforated disc 19 is preferably made of plastic, in particular polyethylene. The perforated disk 19 has a central hole 21, the diameter of which is smaller than the outer diameter of the aligning tongue 2 and larger than the diameter of the larger truncated cone surface 16. As a result, the aligning tongues 2 are additionally fixed in the region of the plug shaft 12. In this embodiment, the binding strip 1 is fixed between the foot part 13 and the perforated disk 19.

As shown in FIG. 7, it can further be provided according to the invention that the plugs 11 are connected by a connecting rail 22 in the region of their foot parts 13. This training has advantages in terms of assembly technology. The connecting rail 22 is preferably formed in one piece with the foot parts 13.

Auch bei dieser Ausführungsform wäre beispielsweise eine zusätzliche Sicherung mittels einer Lochscheibe 19, wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt, möglich.FIGS. 3 and 4 show a further advantageous embodiment of a line-up device according to the invention. This embodiment differs from the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in that the plug shaft 12 is divided by a longitudinal slot 23 and is thus designed to be radially elastic. Furthermore, the Plug shaft 12 on an inner through hole 24. This through bore 24 is designed as a stepped bore, and in the area of the head part 14 it has a section 26 which has a smaller diameter than the rest of the through bore 24. In the state shown in FIG. 3, the head part 14 has in the area of the larger truncated cone surface 16 an outer diameter which corresponds to the inner diameter of the tubular row tongue 2. As a result, the aligning tongue 2 can be easily plugged onto the plug shaft 12. Furthermore, an expansion pin 27 is provided which is inserted into the through hole 24 in the direction of the arrow Y. This expansion pin 27 has a diameter which is larger than the diameter in the region of the section 26 of the through hole 24 and preferably equal to the inner diameter of the through hole 24 in the rest of the region. As can be seen from FIG. 4, which shows the line-up device according to the invention with the expansion pin 27 fully inserted into the through hole 24, the plug shaft 12 is spread apart radially by the inserted expansion pin 27, in particular in the region of the head part 14, so that this also results in In this area, the tubular row tongues 2 are radially stretched, which results in a form-fitting retention of the row tongues 2 on the plug shaft 12. In this embodiment, too, additional securing by means of a perforated disk 19, as shown in FIG. 2, would be possible, for example.

A further embodiment according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. Here, the design of the plug shaft 12 corresponds to the embodiment according to FIG. 1. In contrast to FIG. 1, however, the foot part 13 executed differently. Here, the foot part 13 is formed in two parts by being formed from two parallel foot plates 28, 29, between which the tack strip 1 is enclosed. Here, the foot plate 28 facing the head part 14 is formed in one piece with the plug shaft 12. This footplate 28 lies against the side of the tacking strip 1 facing the head part 14. The base plate 29 is inserted from the back of the tacking strip 1 with a locking pin 31 molded onto it through the respective hole 6 into a locking hole 32 within the plug shaft 12, whereby a positive connection between the locking pin 31 and the plug shaft 12 is achieved. This locking connection is shown in Fig. 6. The locking pin 31 has a locking cone 33 at its free end, the smaller conical surface 33 facing the footplate 28. The locking bore 32 has an entry bore which is adapted to the locking cone 33 and is designed as an inner cone 34, the locking bore 32 expanding in diameter behind the inner cone 34, so that an annular step 35 is formed. In the inserted state, as shown in Fig. 6, the ring step 35 engages behind the locking cone 33, whereby the lower foot plate 29 is connected to the upper foot plate 28. Here, the length of the locking pin 31 up to the beginning of the locking cone 33 is formed such that it corresponds to the thickness of the adhesive strip 1 plus the length of the inner cone 34 to the ring step 35. The radial elasticity of the plug shaft 12 required for inserting the locking pin 31 results from the material elasticity of the plug shaft 12. This embodiment of the invention has the advantage that the plug shaft 12 is already preassembled on the string tongues 2 before the tack strip 1 is connected to the row tongues 2 can. For final attachment of the plug 11 on the tack strip 1, it is then only necessary to connect the foot plate 29 to the foot plate 28, including the tack strip 1.

Here, the replacement bracket 8 is first pushed through recesses in the cover rail 3 - see FIGS. 8a, 8b. Then the row tongues 2 with their open ends 7 are pushed onto the peg-shaped extensions 9. A replacement bracket 8 prepared in this way is now aligned above the holes 6 of the adhesive strip 1, and the plugs 11 are inserted into the holes 6 from below, see FIGS. 8c and 8d. After the plug 11 has been inserted into the holes 6, the row tongues 2 are pushed onto the plug shaft 12 from above until their ends abut the tacking strip 1. This is followed by bending the row tongues 2 by 90 °, the row tongues 2 being fixed behind the clamping tongues 4 of the cover rails 3.

The present line-up device according to the invention is also suitable as a loose accessory pack, consisting of the individual parts: line-up tongues, cover rail, plug, and a stapler for self-assembly, since the assembly described above can also be carried out by any layperson.
