Abstract

Combustion chamber (10), in particular for a burner used for regenerating a particle filter in a motor vehicle exhaust device, having the following features: (a) a pipe piece (14) for receiving an electric ignition device (15) is arranged in one combustion chamber bottom (11); (b) the pipe piece (14) is provided with a first fuel supply device (16) and a first combustion-air supply device (17); (c) provided in a combustion chamber casing (12) is a second combustion-air supply device (22) which is designed in such a manner that a combustion-air flow emerging from this has a flow component which is directed tangentially into the combustion chamber; (d) the combustion chamber casing (12) is provided with a second fuel supply device (18, 19). <IMAGE>
