Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a film bag for the degradation of trace amounts of contaminants such as pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, formaldehyde from clothing and upholstered furniture as they occur in the manufacture and in particular in the impregnation by chemical treatment.
There are film materials with the property of reacting with gaseous molecules of the above substances or entering into chemical compounds with the film material.
Such properties of films are to be extracted for the disposal of chemically treated items of clothing and upholstered furniture for the purpose of disposing of chemical pollutant molecules, which are also stored in gaseous amounts, in particular in leather clothing or seating furniture, in quantities harmful to the human body.
The object of the invention is to chemically bind pollutant components with as little effort as possible while avoiding complicated and expensive devices with the aim of disposal.
This object is achieved in that the objects are placed in a sealable film bag, the material of which consists of high or low pressure polyethylene or polypropylene film and is provided with a device for achieving a low level of air movement through the film bag, whereby pollutant molecules with the inner surfaces of the Foil bags react and are adsorbed.
To achieve a small amount of air movement in the film bag, it is advantageous to continuously pump air into the film bag by means of an electric miniature air pump, at the same time air can escape from the film bag via a filter element (at a sufficient distance from the air inlet). In this case, the pollutant molecules adhering to the contaminated objects should be brought to the inside surface by slight air movement in the film sack in order to react chemically. This ensures that contaminated objects are largely disposed of.
The essence of the invention is therefore to be seen in the fact that the pollutant molecules deposited in gaseous form in the textile fabric are transported to the surface of the inside by suitable air movement in the film sack and react there with the film. This means that pollutants, such as those that get into the corresponding materials during manufacture and also during chemical treatment, can be substantially broken down and disposed of.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and will be described in more detail below.
The only figure shows a
In the lower region of the film bag, an
Instead of a small electric air pump 5, according to a preferred embodiment, an electrically operated fan motor can be arranged in the walls of the film bag, preferably in the bottom part of the film bag, with filters, preferably microfine filters (in particular according to DE-PS 39 32, preferably in the head part of the film bag arranged opposite) 357) are arranged. In this case, the stiffening 4 is formed on the top of the film bag in the form of a frame.
Corona-treated low-pressure and / or high-pressure polyethylene and / or propylene films, at least their inner surfaces, are particularly preferred as materials for the film bag.
