Abstract

An apparatus (1f) which is provided, for example, as overheating protection for temperature detection on a heating apparatus (4f), also has, in addition to a temperature sensor (3f), an insulating connecting piece (20f) having all the connecting elements (23f) which are required for the electrical connection of the heating apparatus (4f), so that these connecting elements (23f) (after attachment of the apparatus (1f) to the heating apparatus (4f)) are located so that they are accessible directly adjacent to the external circumference of said heating apparatus (4f) and to the associated end (31f) of the apparatus base (19f), in order to produce the connecting joints. <IMAGE>
