Abstract

The invention relates to a construction set of combinable furniture, especially cabinet and/or shelf elements, consisting of at least two sloping elements which form an attachment and construction system and constitute a variable combination in that they can be assigned to one another in a rotated, mirror-image or reversed manner, the elements being of identical construction in respect of the angular position of their slope and/or their corresponding depositing or resting surfaces and/or in positive cooperation of the slope of their length in such a way that the importance in terms of production comprises a considerable reduction in the multiplicity of different individual parts otherwise required to produce combination furniture in a sloping design, and this design system thus allows a reduction in the semi-finished parts which normally have to be stored in series furniture production and thus a corresponding reduction in costs in this sector. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a kit of combinable furniture, according to the preamble of the main claim.

Furniture that consists of individual rectangular, box-shaped individual elements are known as so-called add-on furniture. The possible variations with these individual elements for furniture combinations are shaped and at the same time limited by the possibilities that result from the perpendicularity of the individual types. The design variants that can be used in this way are therefore limited to the design options provided by different types of wood, surfaces and door or profile shapes, each as a kind of decoration or derivation from the rectangular basic shape of the body part. Daring, even oblique deviations from this are purely optical in nature because of the fundamental retention of the rectangular basic shape.

A kit of the type mentioned is known from US Pat. No. 4,247,011, which shows a shelf made up of individual modules, each of which is of symmetrical shape and has a closed rear wall. All modules are not only symmetrical in themselves, but also identical to the other modules used and in longitudinal section of a trapezoidal shape. Each component consists of rectangular bases arranged parallel to each other, which form the floor or ceiling, and two side walls and a rear wall, which connect the floor and ceiling. The front of the component is open. The two side walls form a 60 ° angle with the floor and / or the ceiling wall, so that two components which lie on one another with their wider, congruent base areas form an equilateral hexagon.

A shelf wall with a honeycomb structure and a honeycomb appearance can be put together by appropriately arranging several components to one another. Each component forms a shelf compartment, which can be further subdivided by plate-shaped or box-shaped inserts. The maximum size of the shelves is determined by the unit size of the components. This unit size limits the size of the objects that can be stored on the shelf. According to this kit, it is not possible to arrange doors. Thus, no cabinets can be formed with this kit described, which greatly limits the possible use.

The present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a kit of combinable furniture with which body parts for composite furniture are represented, in which, in deviation from the normal perpendicularity, one or more sides are provided with any or a certain angle, so that the simultaneous use of grid dimensions in terms of height, width or depth, both of the individual parts, as well as the entire body part opens up the possibility of mirror-inverted combination of these parts from top to bottom or from right to left or from back to front, whereby both Shelves and cupboard elements can be formed.

Due to the congruence of the angles on the individual parts, this design leads to the specific type of form-fitting construction of even larger combinations, which characterize the specific nature of such furniture. It can be seen that consistent compliance with the oblique angle as a feature of the carcass point becomes a functional and essential design element of the front look, regardless of the detailed design of the front parts (e.g. construction or profile design of the doors).

When using elements of different heights, the angles deviate from their congruence, however, the widths of the footprint and the contact surface are matched as a substitute.

This object on which the invention is based is achieved by a kit of combinable furniture according to the characterizing part of claim 1, with special design variants being characterized in the subclaims.

It is provided that the kit of combinable furniture consists of at least two elements that form a mounting and assembly system, which have a bevel and thereby represent a variable composite, by twisting, mirror-inverted or vice versa, the elements being assignable either in terms of their Angular position of their bevels and / or their corresponding placement or support surfaces and / or in the case of positive interplay of the bevels, the length of which is of the same design, the components being able to be designed both as cupboard and shelf elements and having a vertical front edge, so that the Door capability is secured. With the present invention, a kit is created which deviates from the conventional perpendicularity and ensures any possible variation.

In the embodiments shown, the individual variation possibility also consists in using shelf or drawer elements instead of door elements.

By creating certain basic elements, it is possible to achieve any possible variation by turning them vertically or horizontally, since the shelf elements can be made accessible from both sides and the doors can be attached depending on where the front is located.

The invention relates to all combinations of add-on furniture made of carcass parts, which deviate from the perpendicularity and can be put together to form a positive connection.

According to the present invention, the beveling serves as a system, the significance in terms of production technology comprising a considerable reduction in the otherwise necessary large number of different individual parts which are used for the production of combination furniture in the bevel design. Thus, this design system enables a reduction of the semi-finished parts normally to be stored in the series furniture production and thus a corresponding cost reduction in this area.

A kit of furniture elements which can be combined, comprising at least two elements (2a to 2d) which form an add-on and assembly system, which are sloping in front view and which constitute a variable composite in that they can be associated with one another so as to be rotated, mirror-inverted or reversed, wherein the components are formed uniformly with respect to the angular position of their slope and/or the angular position of their corresponding positioning or supporting surface and/or with form-locking co-ordination of the slopes with respect to their length, characterised in that the components (2a to 2d) are formed both as cupboard and shelving elements and have a vertical front edge, wherein the components are of sloping configuration on one side and these components of different or similar shape can be combined in that corresponding sides conform with respect to their height, width or angular position.
