Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for transferring patients with a mobile frame mounted on rollers, a cantilevered platform and a conveyor belt that is adjustable in both directions by means of a drive device and starting from a first winding roller mounted in the frame over the top of the platform , around the free longitudinal edge and along the underside of the platform can be wound onto a second winding roller mounted in the frame.
- the invention has for its object to provide a device of the type mentioned, in which even with a simple drive device can be avoided that the tape slackens and folds when changing the winding direction.
- This object is achieved in that the two winding rollers are constantly coupled to the drive device and that a rotational play is provided between the winding rollers and the drive device.
- the rotational play enables a relative movement between the respective take-up roller and the drive device, so that the tape-dispensing roller is not forcibly driven, but can be towed again.
- the drive device runs through the rotational play and forcibly drives the previously dragged roller.
- the rotational play must of course be dimensioned so that the length difference between the tape take-up on the empty take-up reel and the tape delivery can be absorbed by the full take-up reel.
- the winding rollers are each rotatably mounted on a shaft, the shafts being coupled to the drive device and the angle of rotation of the respective winding roller relative to its shaft being limited by stops.
- the tensioning of the belt can be further improved if each of the winding rollers is biased in its winding direction.
- a spring for generating the pretension can be arranged between the respective take-up roller and its shaft.
- the solution described above uses only one band, and only one drive device is required to drive one of the two winding rollers during winding or unwinding.
- the solution according to the invention can achieve the same advantages which are otherwise usually only achieved with two separate belts or platforms.
- the tape guide according to the invention ensures that the lower run of the tape coming to rest on the patient bed or bed sheet and the upper run of the tape running over the top of the platform, which is intended to accommodate the patient, always move in the same direction, regardless of the direction of travel of the tape.
- the disadvantage described above can thus be reliably avoided.
- the platform can be inserted with little resistance between the patient and the bed sheet due to the belt movements of the lower run and the upper run, the bed sheet not being displaced by the friction on the belt lower run.
- the deflection edge is preferably formed by a strip which dips into a recess on the underside of the platform and is connected to the platform. In this way, the entire arrangement is only slightly thicker than the platform itself.
- the platform itself can be arranged height-adjustable on the frame, so that it can be adjusted to different bed heights.
- a handle bar extending parallel to the platform is attached to the frame on the side remote from the platform.
- the invention provides that the operating elements for the drive control are arranged in the handle bar.
- two winding rollers 26 and 28 are rotatably mounted, which are connected via a chain drive, not shown, to a drive device 30, which is only schematically indicated in FIG.
- This can be controlled via an operating keyboard 32 which is arranged in a handle bar 35 running on the rear of the converter parallel to the longitudinal direction of the platform 20, so that it can be operated comfortably by the operator.
- the one band end is connected to the upper take-up roller 26 and is guided from the latter over the upper side 34 of the platform 20, around the free edge 36 of the platform 20 to the underside 38 of the platform.
- the belt runs back to the columns 18 and, starting from the frame-side end of the platform 20, is guided around the second winding roller 28 again in the direction of the free platform edge 36.
- Deflection strip 40 which runs parallel to the free platform edge 36 and is fastened to the platform 20 at its longitudinal ends by means of bolts 42 (FIG. 2).
- the conveyor belt 44 is now guided around this deflection strip 40 back to the second winding roller 28, where it runs onto the latter in the winding direction opposite to the winding roller 26.
- the conveyor belt 44 is driven to accommodate a patient in the direction indicated by the arrows, it being sufficient to drive the winding roller 26, it can be seen that the lower run 46 and the upper run 48 of the transport belt move in the same direction as those in contact with one another Intermediate sections 50 and 52 of the conveyor belt. If the direction of rotation is reversed, the same circulation conditions only result in the opposite direction. If the platform is inserted between the patient and the bed sheet at a suitable speed when the patient is being taken in, there is no relative movement between the conveyor belt and the bed sheet, so that this is not shifted. The platform can be inserted under the patient without any great resistance. The same conditions only arise in the opposite direction of rotation when the patient is placed down.
- FIG. 1 in FIG. 1 denotes a securing bracket which can be folded up to accommodate a patient and which serves to prevent the patient from falling off the platform.
- the bracket is not shown in Figure 2.
- FIGS. 4 to 6 show, similarly to FIG. 3, the two winding rollers 26 and 28. These are formed by hollow cylinders, each on a shaft 56 or 58 are freely rotatable. A radial extension 60 is connected to each of the shafts and engages in a sector-shaped cutout 62 in the respective winding roller 26 or 28. The angular range over which the sector-shaped cutout 62 extends determines a rotational play between the respective winding roller 26 or 28 and its shaft 56 or 58.
- Each of the shafts 56, 58 is rotatably connected to a sprocket wheel 64 (FIG. 6) and 66 and is driven by a chain 68 which runs over a sprocket wheel 70 which in turn is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive shaft 72 of a drive device (not shown) is.
- each of the winding rollers 26, 28 is biased in its winding direction by a schematically indicated spring 74.
- a schematically indicated spring 74 for the winding roller 26, this is the direction of rotation in the clockwise direction and for the winding roller 28, this is the direction of rotation in the counterclockwise direction.
- Any suitable spring for example a torsion spring, can also be selected to generate this preload. However, this spring is not absolutely necessary, as the embodiment of FIGS. 4 and 5 shows.
- This arrangement has the following task. Assume that the tape is rolled up on one of the take-up rollers. Then the diameter of this winding roller including the tape roll is larger than the diameter of the other winding roller. If the winding direction is now reversed, if the two shafts 56, 58 are driven synchronously and in the same direction, the tape take-up on the winding roller would be less than the tape delivery on the reel dispenser. This would cause the tape to sag or wrinkle between the two take-up rollers and then be easily damaged. This is avoided by the solution according to the invention.
- Fig. 4 shows the winding rollers 26, 28 and shafts 56, 58 in their assembly and starting position. If the band 44 is wound onto the left roller 26, the right roller 28 is dragged despite the synchronous drive of the shaft 58 because of the rotational play between the shaft 58 and the roller 28. The band remains taut. 5 the same process takes place in the opposite direction.
- the spring arranged between the respective take-up roller and its associated shaft due to the rotational play present, causes the take-up roller to always be pretensioned in the take-up direction. If the turning play is large enough, sagging or folding of the tape can be avoided.

Description
The invention relates to a device for transferring patients with a mobile frame mounted on rollers, a cantilevered platform and a conveyor belt that is adjustable in both directions by means of a drive device and starting from a first winding roller mounted in the frame over the top of the platform , around the free longitudinal edge and along the underside of the platform can be wound onto a second winding roller mounted in the frame.
Eine solche Vorrichtung ist in der FR-A-2.084.018 beschrieben.Such a device is described in FR-A-2.084.018.
The invention has for its object to provide a device of the type mentioned, in which even with a simple drive device can be avoided that the tape slackens and folds when changing the winding direction.
This object is achieved in that the two winding rollers are constantly coupled to the drive device and that a rotational play is provided between the winding rollers and the drive device.
The rotational play enables a relative movement between the respective take-up roller and the drive device, so that the tape-dispensing roller is not forcibly driven, but can be towed again. When changing direction, the drive device then runs through the rotational play and forcibly drives the previously dragged roller. The rotational play must of course be dimensioned so that the length difference between the tape take-up on the empty take-up reel and the tape delivery can be absorbed by the full take-up reel.
According to a preferred embodiment, which is easy to implement, the winding rollers are each rotatably mounted on a shaft, the shafts being coupled to the drive device and the angle of rotation of the respective winding roller relative to its shaft being limited by stops. The tensioning of the belt can be further improved if each of the winding rollers is biased in its winding direction. A spring for generating the pretension can be arranged between the respective take-up roller and its shaft.
In a device for moving patients known from German utility model DE-U-87 04 343, the platform is moved relative to the frame, the belt being able to be moved either together with the platform or relative to it. A disadvantage of all embodiments of such devices, so-called Umbetetten, with only one conveyor belt is that when the platform is pushed under the patient and the patient is simultaneously taken up on the platform, the belt part running over the underside of the platform rubs against the bed sheet and moves it. This makes it difficult for the patient to be taken on the platform smoothly. The reverse process occurs when the patient is placed on the bed. Umbetter are already known that use two superimposed platforms, each of which runs a belt. The disadvantage described above can be avoided by suitable control of the two bands. However, this solution is relatively complex and complicated both in terms of mechanical effort and in terms of control.
In the solution according to the invention it is therefore proposed that the conveyor belt from the underside of the platform around the second take-up roller to a deflection edge arranged near the free longitudinal edge of the platform below it and around it to the second take-up roller and that the ends of the tape run onto the take-up rollers so that they each rotate in the same direction during winding and unwinding.
The solution described above uses only one band, and only one drive device is required to drive one of the two winding rollers during winding or unwinding. Despite this solution, which is simpler in terms of construction and control technology, the solution according to the invention can achieve the same advantages which are otherwise usually only achieved with two separate belts or platforms. The tape guide according to the invention ensures that the lower run of the tape coming to rest on the patient bed or bed sheet and the upper run of the tape running over the top of the platform, which is intended to accommodate the patient, always move in the same direction, regardless of the direction of travel of the tape. The disadvantage described above can thus be reliably avoided. The platform can be inserted with little resistance between the patient and the bed sheet due to the belt movements of the lower run and the upper run, the bed sheet not being displaced by the friction on the belt lower run.
In order to keep the platform, including the straps, as flat as possible, the deflection edge is preferably formed by a strip which dips into a recess on the underside of the platform and is connected to the platform. In this way, the entire arrangement is only slightly thicker than the platform itself.
The platform itself can be arranged height-adjustable on the frame, so that it can be adjusted to different bed heights.
To move the converter, a handle bar extending parallel to the platform is attached to the frame on the side remote from the platform. To facilitate operation, the invention provides that the operating elements for the drive control are arranged in the handle bar.

Within the
According to the illustration in FIG. 3, the one band end is connected to the upper take-
If the
Der Bügel ist in Figur 2 nicht dargestellt.1 in FIG. 1 denotes a securing bracket which can be folded up to accommodate a patient and which serves to prevent the patient from falling off the platform. The bracket is not shown in Figure 2.
58.FIGS. 4 to 6 show, similarly to FIG. 3, the two winding
Each of the
In the special embodiment in FIG. 6, each of the winding
This arrangement has the following task. Assume that the tape is rolled up on one of the take-up rollers. Then the diameter of this winding roller including the tape roll is larger than the diameter of the other winding roller. If the winding direction is now reversed, if the two
In Fig. 5 läuft der gleiche Vorgang in umgekehrter Richtung ab.Fig. 4 shows the winding
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the spring arranged between the respective take-up roller and its associated shaft, due to the rotational play present, causes the take-up roller to always be pretensioned in the take-up direction. If the turning play is large enough, sagging or folding of the tape can be avoided.
