Definitions
- the invention relates to a conductor channel for a future-proof energy supply and communication with equipotential bonding between cover and housing.
- a wall duct with a metallic lower part for receiving electrical installation devices has become known from German Utility Model G 87 04 502.
- This wall duct described consists of a one-sided open, essentially C-shaped profile. The remaining opening is covered by a metal one
- the German utility model G 87 04 502 discloses a conductor channel for receiving electrical conductors, which is also particularly suitable for receiving busbars with adapters.
- the channel consists essentially of a U-shaped metal profile, the legs of which are provided with inward bends which form an abutment for a metal cover which closes the conductor channel. The cover is thus locked and releasably locked to the conductor channel.
- German utility model G 77 01 100 Another conductor channel for receiving electrical conductors has become known from German utility model G 77 01 100.
- the cover and the U-profile of the channel are also made of metal and are releasably locked together and thus connected in an electrically conductive manner.
- strip-like locking ribs are provided on the inside of the cover, which protrude into the edge regions of the cover and are locked by engagement with the bends.
- spring elements designed as clamps are provided for locking and for the current-conducting connection. Since these spring elements do not run along the projection, penetration of paint cannot be avoided during subsequent painting, and this can impair the safe contact.
- a conductor channel with a bent and essentially U-shaped metal profile is known.
- the cover on the U-profile is locked there by two continuous strip-like locking ribs projecting on the inside of the cover in the edge regions of the cover by engagement with the U-shaped conductor channel.
- the edge edges of the cover lie on the angled portions.
- the published patent application DE-P 25 16 404 shows a conductor channel in which both the U-shaped lower part and the cover can be made of metal.
- covers are already known there with two longitudinal projections / locking ribs which abut one another along the lower section of the profile and thus form a cavity which can protect the inner contact surface against the entry of color; however, the outer edge of the cover lies on the Profi 1un ertei 1.
- the German utility model G 77 01 076 describes a cable duct made up of several sections that can be put together.
- the cover of the cable duct is connected to one another via additional compensating clamping pieces, which are located within the longitudinally running channel legs.
- This type of connection is intended to enable a play-free connection between the individual cable duct sections and the cable duct cover.
- these compensation clamping pieces have been made from an elastic material such as plastic or rubber.
- DE-OS 35 16 149 discloses a Lucaskanalprofi 1 for laying installation lines. With this system, all components of the cable duct are interchangeable and can be connected to one another via simple snap-lock connections.
- the object of the invention is to provide a conductor channel of the prescribed type, in which both the cover and the housing are provided with a correspondingly reliable potential equalization. At the same time, however, it must be ensured that the cover can be removed without additional tools. The equipotential bonding must also be established reliably if the cover is placed or removed several times. A further requirement is that the entire conductor channel should receive a surface treatment in the assembled state, ie with the cover closed. It must be ensured that the cover can be removed after the surface treatment has been carried out without the surface coating being damaged. - o -
- the object is achieved in that elevations are present in the edge regions of the cover and / or the conductor channel, which ensure that the cover does not rest with its edge edge, but at the same time ⁇ the surface coating covers the corner region of the cover . Removing the cover after the surface coating has been carried out will not cause any damage to the surface coating. At the same time, however, it is also ensured that no surface coating material can penetrate an artificially created cavity between the cover and the housing.
- the cover is clamped in a known manner, so that the cover and the housing are in constant contact. Due to the fact that the cover and the housing are joined together before the surface treatment, no paint or surface coating can get on the connection point and also on the cavity, which offers additional security, between the cover and the housing .
- This constructive measure ensures a safe equipotential bonding between the cover and the housing. This measure also ensures that the optical appearance of the device channel is not impaired.
- the design of the conductor channel according to the invention is of great importance, since the measure that a defined distance between the cover and the housing is produced virtually forms a Faraday cage. The result of this is that no surface coating material pulls into these areas and is permanently deposited. The artificially created cavity behind the projection thus remains free of any surface coating material. Even with conventional painting processes, no color penetrates into this area, and this also ensures in this case that the inside edges remain free of color.
- the conductor channel created by the invention represents a safe equipotential bonding between cover and housing and is due to this fact also in correspondingly sensitive areas such as used in medical technology. At the same time, however, the optical appearance of the conductor channel is in no way impaired by this measure. 5 The cover can also be removed safely without tools.
- Figure 1 conductor channel in section 0- Figure 2 detail with two elevations Figure 3 detail with rectangular elevation Figure 4 detail with semicircular elevation Figure 5 detail with glued strips
- the housing (1) of the conductor channel predominantly has a 5 right-angled cross-section.
- the contact rails (not shown in more detail) for connecting the adapters are located within the housing.
- the conductor channel is fastened over the floor (3).
- the cover (2) forms the closure of the housing (1).
- the housing (1) is designed such that the cover (2) lies somewhat inside the housing (1).
- the flat sides (14) which are opposite and parallel to the floor (3) in a mirror image. form the long sides of the housing (1). On the two free longitudinal edges, the flat sides also have angled portions (5) directed inwards. These bends (5) form the abutment for the cover (2).
- the detachable connection between the cover (2) and the housing (1) is achieved by locking ribs (4) running on the inside of the cover (2). These locking ribs are designed so that they connect to the housing (1) with a slight pressure on the surface of the cover (2) to form a releasable connection. The point at which the cover (2) and the housing (1) come together forms the contact surface (11).
- the design of the locking ribs (4) ensures that there is a secure connection between the cover (2) and the housing (1) even when the cover (2) is assembled or disassembled several times. This is further favored by the fact that the two flat sides (14) are slightly inclined towards the interior of the conductor channel. This measure creates a certain spring effect, which favors a snap-in of the cover (2).
- a projection (6) creates a free space (10) between the cover (2) and the housing (1).
- This free space must be dimensioned such that, with appropriate surface finishing measures, no contact can take place between the cover (2) and the housing (1). This ensures that when the cover (2) is released, the edge (13) cannot be damaged by adhering paint or surface coating. Also in electrostatic processes for surface finishing a Faraday cage would be formed in this area, which ensures that no particles of the surface coating would be drawn into this area.
- the projection (6) which can be formed one or more times, simultaneously creates a cavity (12) in the direction of the locking ribs (4).
- This cavity ensures that no color reaches the contact surface (11) between the housing (1) and the cover (2) via the locking ribs (4). It is thus ensured that potential equalization is present between the housing (1) and the cover (2) via the contact surface (11) on each long side of the closure.
- the conductor channel can be provided with an inserted cover in the assembly with a surface refinement without the risk of color reaching the contact surface (11). Subsequent cleaning of the contact surface (11) is not necessary.
- the projection (6) or the elevation is constructed is of secondary importance. It can either be a triangular tip, as shown in FIG. 1, or it can have any other shape that is attached directly to the housing or else to the cover in a form-fitting manner during manufacture.
- Fig. 2 shows an embodiment in which two triangular projections (6) are shown.
- a rectangular or square shape of the projection (7) can be seen in FIG. 3.
- the same effect can of course also be achieved by applying or gluing on a material of defined thickness. This can, for example, foam rubber or another e . be elastic material. This way of creating a cavity (12) between the cover (2) and the
- the housing (1) is not very advantageous because it involves additional costs in production. It can also happen that the cover is removed several times, that this adhesive strip is damaged and thus there is no longer any reliable equipotential bonding between the cover and the housing.
- the object according to the invention represents an inexpensive and reliable solution for creating equipotential bonding between the two parts used. In this way, faulty currents and Voltages that come into contact with the conductor channel and its cover as a result of defects or short circuits are dissipated to ground and do not pose any danger to the user of the conductor channel.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a channel of conductors consisting of a channel in the form of a housing. Inside this channel are conductors arranged in parallel to which it is possible to connect end consumers by means of adapters. This device channel is subjected, in the assembled state, that is to say with its covering, to a treatment improving the surface. With a design feature, it is ensured that during the surface enhancing treatment, no color can penetrate within a contact point between the cover and the housing or throughout the housing.
