Derartig relativ einfach aufgebaute und dennoch unter Raumbetriebsbedingungen sehr zuverlässig funktionierende Farbroller sind bereits in den unterschiedlichsten Ausführungsformen vorgeschlagen worden. Bei derartigen Konstruktionen wies sie z.B. in den Offenlegungsschriften DE 34 10 468 A1 sowie DE 35 27 646 A1 vorgeschlagen worden sind, bilden die Walze, der Walzenkern und die axialen Stege ein einstückiges Bauteil, welches im Wege des Spritzgießens gefertigt wird. Dabei benötigt man allerdings für unterschiedlich lange Farbroller ebenso wie für Farbroller mit unterschiedlichen Durchmessern jeweils eigene Formen zur Herstellung, was bei der Vielzahl der Farbrollertypen doch einen sehr hohen Aufwand erforderlich macht.Paint rollers of this type, which have a relatively simple structure and nevertheless function reliably under room operating conditions, have already been proposed in a wide variety of embodiments. Durch das erfindungsgemäß vorgesehene separate Formteil, welches den Walzenkern und die radialen Stege umfaßt, ist es beispielsweise bei lediglich einer Änderung der Länge des Farbrollers nicht mehr notwendig, hierfür gesonderte Formen vorzusehen, da ja die Walzen selbst einfache Ablängteile von langen Rohren sein können, die in beliebiger Länge vorgesehen werden können. In jedem Fall kann das gleiche den Walzenkern umfassende Bauteil eingepreßt werden, so daß für alle denkbar unterschiedlichen Längen einer Walze letztendlich nur ein Spritzgießteil für das Lagerbauteil notwendig ist. Auf der anderen Seite ist auch die selbstverständlich noch wie vor gegebene Notwendigkeit des Vorsehens von solchen unterschiedlichen Lager-Bauteilen mit dem Walzenkern für jeweils unterscheidliche Walzendurchmesser erheblich einfacher zu lösen. Neben der Möglichkeit durch einfaches Aufsetzen von Rohrstücken eine Durchmessererweiterung in Anpassung an erweiterte Walzendurchmesser vorzunehmen läßt sich selbstverständlich ein solches kurzes, den Walzenkern, die radialen Stege und eine kurze Hülse umfassendes Formteil sehr viel einfacher herstellen als das bisher notwendige einstückige, auch noch die Walze umfassende, große Bauteil. In Ausgestaltung der Erfindung soll dabei die Hülse mit mehreren beabstandeten umlaufenden kantigen Rippen versehen sein, die sich auf Grund der Verformung der Innenfläche der Walze soweit eindrücken, daß eine axiale Verschiebung nur mit erheblichem Kraftaufwand notwendig ist, der bei der Benutzung eines Farbrollers nie auftritt. Der dargestellte Farbroller besteht aus einem Griffteil 1 mit einem mehrfach gewinkelten formstabilen Drahtbügel 2, dessen eines Ende mit einem Handgriff 3 versehen ist, während der im wesentlichen um 90° gegenüber dem Handgriff geneigt verlaufende Lagerschenkel 4 zur Lagerung der eigentlichen Farbrolle 5 dient, die aus einer Walze 6 und einem Überzug 7 besteht, der entweder aus Plüsch bestehen kann oder beispielsweise auch durch Beflockung der Walze 6 gebildet sein könnte. Neben der nur eine Zusatzlagerung darstellenden Lagerung des Lagerschenkels 4 an seinen beiden Enden durch die Spannhülsen 8 der Stirnabschlußwände 9 erfolgt die eigentliche Lagerung des Lagerschenkels 4 durch ein im wesentlichen mittiges Lagerbuchsen-Drehlager. Dabei ist eine geschlitzte auf den Lagerschenkel 4 aufgeklemmte Lagerbuchse 10 in einem Walzenkern 11 gelagert, der sich über eine Vielzahl radialer Stege 12 an der Innenwand 13 der Walze 6 abstützt. Der Walzenkern 11 ist dabei mit einer inneren Ringrippe 14 versehen, die in eine entsprechende Ringnut der Lagerbuchse 10 eingreift und für die axiale Unverschiebbarkeit der Lagerung sorgt. Durch eine in der Zeichnung nicht im einzelnen dargestellten Schlitzung der Lagerbuchse, die in den eingangs aufgeführten Druckschriften im einzelnen gezeigt ist, läßt sich die Lagerbuchse 10 in den Walzenkern 11 einsprengen, und zwar bevorzugt ehe der Lagerschenkel 4 mit Preßsitz in die Lagerbuchse 10 eingedrückt wird.The paint roller shown consists of a handle part 1 with a multi-angled, dimensionally
