Claims (7)

  1. Fastening means for fastening a lock (10) to a door element, especially a door handle (11), which element has a guide sleeve (28) in which the lock (10) is engaged, the latter comprising a tube (17) closed by a base portion (18), the fastening means being characterised in that it further includes
    - means for preventing movement of the lock in translation, comprising lugs (20, 21) cooperating with circular apertures (34, 35), the lugs and the apertures being respectively formed integrally on the lock and the guide sleeve,
    - and means for preventing rotation of the lock with respect to the guide sleeve and comprising at least one resilient tongue (22, 23), formed integrally on the lock and cooperating with at least one shoulder located at the ends of ramps (38, 39) formed integrally on the guide sleeve.
  2. Fastening means according to Claim 1, characterised in that the lugs (20, 21) are formed integrally on the body (14) of the lock (10), and in that the circular apertures (34, 35) are formed integrally on the guide sleeve (28) of the door handle (11).
  3. Fastening means according to Claim 1, characterised in that the resilient tongues (22, 23) are formed integrally on the body (14) of the lock (10), and in that the ramps (38, 39) are formed integrally on the internal face (33) of the guide sleeve (28).
  4. Fastening means according to Claim 1, characterised in that the resilient tongues (22, 23) are formed integrally on the guide sleeve (28) of the door handle (11), and in that the ramps (38, 39) are formed integrally on the body (14) of the lock (10).
  5. Fastening means according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the guide sleeve (28) and the body (14) define respective axes (26, 40), the tongues (22, 23) on the one hand and the ramps (38, 39) on the other hand being diametrically opposed to each other and defining an inclination (A) which is symmetrical with respect to the said axes (26, 40).
  6. Fastening means according to Claim 1, characterised in that the lugs (20, 21) constitute angular indexing means for the lock (10) in the door handle (11) by cooperation between walls (36, 37) of the circular apertures (34, 35).

A motor vehicle door (11) having a fastening means for fastening a lock (10) to an element of the door in accordance with any one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that it includes a wall (27) extended internally by a cylindrical guide sleeve (28) defining an axis (40) and an internal face (30), the said guide sleeve (28) including, formed integrally on its internal face (33), ramps (38, 39) having an inclination (A) which is symmetrical with respect to the axis (40) and comprising starting portions (41, 42) level with the internal surface (33), together with final portions (43, 44) which are super-elevated from the said internal surface (33) and which define shoulders (45, 46).
