- the particularly inexpensive crown corks and screw caps are used to close the bottles.
- the crown corks are also referred to as pressure closures because they are fixed by suitable tools at the top of the bottle by pressing.
- the screw caps are not screwed onto the upper edge area provided with threads, but put on the bottle rim as a cap and rolled on using rolling tools. These closures are therefore roll-on closures, which are referred to in the trade as pilverproof closures.
- the previously known systems are designed so that the closing device lies in the vertical projection of the storage container equipped with a sorting unit.

- the closing device is in the non-sterile area of the system, the previously known closing device is not suitable for closing bottles which have been aseptically filled with a cold beverage.
- the present innovation is based on the object of further developing a system of the type mentioned at the outset in a structurally simple manner such that bottles or other suitable containers filled with a cold beverage can be aseptically closed.
- the placement of the closures is separated from the actual closing process.
- the closure which can be seen as a cover, is placed on the bottle opening. Since at least the inside surface is germ-free due to the exposure to steam, the bottles can be closed without hesitation with the non-sterile closing tools. It is particularly advantageous that steam is a completely harmless substance with no side effects. In addition, it can be generated in a particularly simple manner.
- the device for vapor deposition of the closures could, for example, be designed in the manner of a lock.
- the feed channel formed in a channel-like manner has a track.
- special requirements such as when filling milk, may be required it may be expedient if the feed channel has two or more tracks in the area of the steam device.
- the control can then take place via a switchable switch.
- FIG. 1 purely schematically a system according to the invention in plan view.
- the system according to the invention includes a filling device 10 located in the sterile area and a closing device 11 located in the non-sterile area. Both devices operate according to the so-called rotary principle. Since these devices are state of the art, they are not explained in more detail.
- a transfer station 12 can be seen in the sense of an intermediate transport.
- a magazine 13 for storing the closures for the filled bottles is assigned to the transfer station 12.
- the magazine 13 is above the level of the filled bottles, so that the closures are supplied to the bottles via a chute 14 (not explained in more detail).
- the closures are made sterile by means of a disinfection device, not shown.
- This sterilization device is, for example, a steam lock.

- the point at which the filled bottles enter the closing device 11 is identified by the reference number 17 and the outlet point by the reference number 18.
- the path traversed by the bottles within the system is shown symbolically by the broken line 19.
- the steam generator is also not shown, since such devices can be purchased commercially. It is envisaged that steam will also be injected into the filled bottles shortly before the closures are put on. As a result of the cooling, a vacuum is then formed in the bottle so that the closures rest more firmly on the edge of the bottle.
- the sterilization of the closures by applying steam is particularly advantageous since no chemical agents are used.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a system according to the preamble of claim 1.
When filling drinks, special attention must be paid to the sterility. The industry speaks of an aseptic filling process. The filling and closing devices are designed as so-called rotary devices, ie the bottles are transported by means of disks rotating about vertical axes, which have corresponding recesses in the outer edge area for receiving the bottles. The particularly inexpensive crown corks and screw caps are used to close the bottles. The crown corks are also referred to as pressure closures because they are fixed by suitable tools at the top of the bottle by pressing. The screw caps are not screwed onto the upper edge area provided with threads, but put on the bottle rim as a cap and rolled on using rolling tools. These closures are therefore roll-on closures, which are referred to in the trade as pilverproof closures. The previously known systems are designed so that the closing device lies in the vertical projection of the storage container equipped with a sorting unit. The closures slide one after the other in always the same position through the feed channel, to which a tool for rolling or pressing is assigned. With these systems, sterility is only guaranteed if the drinks are filled in hot or hot condition. In order to avoid the cooking effect, however, filling in the cold state is considered to increase the quality. The filling device is located in the so-called sterile area of the plant, so that there are no difficulties in this area. However, since the closing device is in the non-sterile area of the system, the previously known closing device is not suitable for closing bottles which have been aseptically filled with a cold beverage.
The present innovation is based on the object of further developing a system of the type mentioned at the outset in a structurally simple manner such that bottles or other suitable containers filled with a cold beverage can be aseptically closed.
The object is achieved by the features listed in the characterizing part of claim 1.
In the system according to the invention, the placement of the closures is separated from the actual closing process. In the transfer station, the closure, which can be seen as a cover, is placed on the bottle opening. Since at least the inside surface is germ-free due to the exposure to steam, the bottles can be closed without hesitation with the non-sterile closing tools. It is particularly advantageous that steam is a completely harmless substance with no side effects. In addition, it can be generated in a particularly simple manner. The device for vapor deposition of the closures could, for example, be designed in the manner of a lock.
For filling juices, it is sufficient if the feed channel formed in a channel-like manner has a track. However, special requirements, such as when filling milk, may be required it may be expedient if the feed channel has two or more tracks in the area of the steam device. The control can then take place via a switchable switch.
Fig. 1 rein schematisch eine erfindungsgemäße Anlage in Draufsicht.Further characteristics and features of an advantageous embodiment of the present invention are the subject of further subclaims and result from the following description of a preferred exemplary embodiment. Show it:
Fig. 1 purely schematically a system according to the invention in plan view.
The system according to the invention includes a filling device 10 located in the sterile area and a
