If the outer diameter 25 of the retaining ring 16 is larger than the inner diameter 33 of the cap 5, as shown in FIG. 1, the cap jacket 8 is expanded to build up a radial preload from the position shown in broken lines to the position drawn in full lines. Of course, it is also sufficient if the outer diameter 25 of the retaining ring 16 corresponds to the inner diameter 33 of the cap.
