Les sacs en matière plastique constituent un emballage privilégié dans les magasins par ses caractéristiques bien connues de faible coût, de facilité de stockage, de facilité d'impression avec la marque du vendeur ou du distributeur. Ces sacs qui sont par exemple fabriqués en liasses sont particulièrement pratiques pour les magasins où le consommateur choisit librement ses produits, les range pêle mêle dans des caddies, puis se rend à la caisse ; les caissières remettent alors au client un ou des sacs en fonction de l'importance des achats pour les ranger dans lesdits sacs. Dans ce dernier cas, les matériels doivent être fiables, d'une grande capacité de stockage de sacs pour éviter un approvisionnement trop fréquent. Les matériels existant ne sont toutefois pas satisfaisant car il ne permettent pas un contrôle et une distribution des sacs un par un. Il arrive en effet très souvent que par l'effet d'adhérence des sacs entre eux, on en prélève plusieurs à la fois. Cette technique précitée entraine donc des inconvénients rappelés brièvement ci-avant qui compensent largement les économies réalisées sur le poste emballage sacs plastiques. A cet effet, le dispositif comprend un axe de manoeuvre (35) traversant le corps (33) et présentant à sa partie supérieure un pommeau (36) de manoeuvre et de préhension. Un ressort de rappel (37) est introduit sur l'axe et vient en butée contre une collerette (35,1) formée à l'extrémité supérieure de l'axe et sur la face supérieure du corps précité. L'axe (35) se prolonge à son extrémité inférieure dans le corps pour recevoir un moyen (43) profilé destiné à venir en contact avec le sac supérieur. Ce moyen (43) peut être avantageusement une ventouse. Ainsi, le client doit effectuer une manoeuvre sur le pommeau abaissant l'axe et permettant la mise en contact de la ventouse sur le sac, puis en procédant à un léger mouvement de rotation de l'axe sur lui-même, il provoque le froissement du sac supérieur par l'action de la ventouse. Le client peut alors saisir sans difficulté le sac par l'ouverture profilée formée sur le couvercle. La mise en oeuvre de l'opération de froissement peut s'effectuer par une seule opération d'appui demandée au client en adaptant le mécanisme de froissement. Les clients ont le sentiment de prélever eux-même leurs sacs sans devoir les réclamer à la caissière qui peut en contrôler la quantité pour chaque client par une simple intervention sur le positionnement du chargeur de sacs.
- Sur le plan ergonomique la caissière n'aura plus à se contorsionner pour saisir les sacs manuellement sous le banc et les remettre aux clients. Cette manoeuvre répétée à longueur de journée peut entraîner, selon les études, des déplacements de vertèbres.
- La capacité de stockage des sacs est accrue d'environ 5000 à 8000 sacs et laisse une autonomie de plusieurs jours de travail. En outre, la machine est opérationnelle pour tous types de sacs, à bretelles ou non de dimensions variées en modifiant la longueur du plateau chargeur.
- La machine permet un contrôle précis des sacs utilisés, bloque la distribution en cas de non fonctionnement de celle-ci ou en cas de prélèvement abusifs du client. Le prélèvement des sacs s'effectue à l'unité et provoque une auto-régulation des clients.
- La machine comprend un dispositif de froissage particulièrement simple à mettre en oeuvre, d'une grande efficacité technique et qui constitue un système pouvant être particulièrement approprié pour valoriser l'intérêt de la machine.
- En dernier lieu, on souligne la parfaite adaptabilité de la machine et son intégration possible dans les bancs de caisses.
