Description

Ein solches Verfahren ist bekannt ( DE - C - 1 284 624 ). Beim bekannten Verfahren soll verhindert werden, daß aus dem vorgepreßten Profilkörper Teilchen herausgerissen werden, welche dann beim Heißpressen die Kanäle verstopfen, durch welche die in der Preßmasse entstehenden Dämpfe und Gase abgeführt oder heiße Gase in das Innere der Preßform zugeführt werden.Zur Lösung dieses technischen Problems ist für das bekannte Verfahren vorgeschlagen worden, in den Vorpreßling beim Vorpressen wenigstens auf einer seiner Seiten über die Oberfläche verteilte Vertiefungen einzupressen.Such a method is known (DE-C-1 284 624). In der Praxis ist festgestellt worden, daß die heißen Gase und Dämpfe auf diese Weise in kürzester Zeit in das in der Preßform befindliche Gemisch eingebracht werden können und sich dort gleichmäßig verteilen. Das führt nicht nur zu einer gleichmäßigen Verteilung der Hitze in der Preßmasse, sondern auch zu einer schnellen Erhitzung der Preßmasse. Dieser Vorgang wird offenbar dadurch gefördert, daß sich die Span- oder Faserbestandteile der Preßmasse beim Einfüllen in die Preform derart ablagern, daß die größere Anzahl der Späne oder Fasern im rechten Winkel zur Preßrichtung liegt.In practice it has been found that the hot gases and vapors can be introduced into the mixture in the mold in the shortest possible time and can be distributed evenly there. Die in Fig. 1 gezeigte Presse besitzt ein feststehendes Preßwerkzeugunterteil 1. An diesem ist das den Füllraum 2 umfassende, rahmenartige Preßwerkzeugoberteil 3 vertikal geführt. Es ist mit dem Deckel 4 verschließbar und - wie durch die Pfeile 5 angedeutet - vertikal verschiebbar. In den Wänden des Preßwerkzeugoberteils 3 sind horizontal die Zuführungskanäle 6 für die heißen Gase und Dämpfe angeordnet, deren ein Ende in den Füllraum 2 und deren anderes Ende in einer zu einem - nicht gezeigten - Reservoir für heiße Gase oder Dämpfe führenden Sammelleitung 7 mündet.The press shown in FIG. 1 has a fixed pressing tool lower part 1. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren läuft nun in folgender Weise ab :
Nach Öffnen des Deckels 4 wird der Füllraum 2 mit dem Gemisch gefüllt. Dann wird der Deckel 4 geschlossen und auf das Preßwerkzeugoberteil 3 mit Deckel 4 eine Kraft in vertikaler Richtung ausgeübt. Gleichzeitig werden durch die Sammelleitung 7 und die Zuführungskanäle 6 heiße Gase oder Dämpfe in das eingefüllte Gemisch geleitet. Auf diese Weise wird - ggf. bei zusätzlicher Erhitzung von Preßwerkzeugunterteil 1, Preßwerkzeugoberteil 3 und Deckel 4 - aus dem Gemisch das Formteil 8 gepreßt und ausgehärtet.The method according to the invention now proceeds in the following way:
