Definitions
- the invention relates to a soft pack, in particular paper tissue packaging, from an envelope surrounding the pack contents, from a plastic film or the like, through which the front wall, rear wall, side walls, end wall and bottom wall are formed, with in the region of a narrow packaging surface, preferably in the region of an elongated one Sidewall, a reclosable opening aid is formed, which consists of two folding tabs (partially) overlapping one another in the closed position, of which the outside folding tab forms a closure flap for a removal opening and has an adhesive strip or an adhesive label, which with a partial area is releasably attached to an adjacent packing surface (front wall).
- Piles of folded paper handkerchiefs are usually wrapped in thin plastic films. Recently, tissue paper packaging of this type has been provided with a reclosable opening aid.
- FR-A 2 334 584 shows and describes various embodiments of such paper tissue packaging.
- One of these known packs is designed so that the opening aid is provided in the area of one of the two elongated, narrow side walls. Due to a hose folding of the wrapping surrounding the handkerchiefs, this side wall consists of two overlapping folding tabs. Both are provided at their ends - adjacent to the front wall and bottom wall with a transverse cut that extends across the full width of the side wall. Both folding flaps thus serve as closing flaps.
- the closure flaps formed by the two folding tabs are connected to one another by an easily releasable seal.
- at least one side of the folding tabs to be connected to one another is provided with a coating which ensures an easy-to-open sealing or welding of the two closure tabs.
- a tape is used for opening and reclosing, which is releasably attached to one part of the outer closure flap and another to the adjacent front wall of the packaging. This end of the adhesive strip is provided with an adhesive-free grip tab.
- the invention has for its object to improve packaging of the type mentioned, especially in relation to handling in terms of easier removal of the tissues while maintaining or improving the dimensional stability of the packaging.
- the soft pack according to the invention is characterized in that only the outer folding flap serves as a closure flap, which extends over a (central) partial area of the (outer) folding flap and is divided from the lateral areas (side webs) thereof by separating cuts, which serve as perforation lines continue in the area of the packing wall (rear wall) connected to the outer folding tab.
- the design of the reclosable opening aid according to the invention facilitates handling of the packaging, because only a closure flap has to be actuated in order to gain access to the contents of the package.
- the process of opening and reclosing is also facilitated, since only one locking tab has to be actuated at a time - with the aid of the adhesive strip attached to the locking tab.
- the opening aid is preferably arranged in the region of an elongated side wall of the pack.
- the closure flap has a shorter length than the outer folding flap from which the closure flap is formed by two separating cuts or perforation lines arranged at a distance from one another.
- the remaining webs or side webs remaining at the ends of the outer folding tab - adjacent to the end wall or to the bottom wall - are firmly connected to end areas of the inner folding tab, in particular by sealing the film.
- a further, independent feature of the invention consists in that, in order to enlarge the removal opening, the inner folding tab has a recess which is open towards the free edge and thus towards the removal opening, in particular with an arcuate boundary. As a result, a larger removal opening is exposed when the closure flap is opened.
- the recess is formed by removing, namely tearing off a piece of film which is connected to the inside of the closure flap and is torn out of the recess when it is opened for the first time.
- the soft pack according to the invention can be produced in large series using conventional machines.
- the special design provides increased stability so that even very thin foils can be used.
- the opening aid is designed for easy, problem-free handling.
- FIGS. 1 and 3 serves to hold a stack of folded paper handkerchiefs 43.
- the contents of the package are surrounded by a rectangular blank 10 (FIG. 2) made of thin plastic film.
- the envelope is closed on all sides and forms a front wall 11, an opposite rear wall 12, elongated, narrow side walls 13 and 14 and a smaller end wall 15 and a bottom wall 16 opposite.
- the packaging is formed in that the blank is placed in a U-shaped manner in the region of the side wall 13 around the cuboid-shaped package content, in such a way that folding tabs 17, 18 overlap each other almost completely to form the side wall pointing upwards in FIG. 1 ( so-called hose folding).
- the folding tabs 17, 18 are connected to one another in a suitable manner.
- the end wall 15 and bottom wall 16 are formed by folding tabs projecting beyond the contents of the pack, namely by end tabs 19 and side end tabs 20 or bottom tabs 21 and side bottom tabs 22 Get trapezoidal shape (Fig. 1 and 3).
- the packaging is provided with a reclosable opening aid.
- this is located in the region of the narrow, elongated side wall 14.
- the folding tabs 17 and 18 of the same contribute to the formation of the opening aid.
- the outer folding flap 18 - which lies with an overlap on the inner folding flap 17 - forms a closing flap 23.
- the Folding flaps 18 which extend the full width of the side wall 14 in the vicinity of the ends, that is to say adjacent to the end wall 15 and bottom wall 16, are provided with transverse separating cuts 24, 25. These lie at a distance from transverse edges 26, 27 between the side wall 14 on the one hand and the end wall 15 and the bottom wall 16 on the other. As a result, they remain adjacent to these side webs 28, 29 as part of the folding tab 18.
- closure flap 23 can be raised as part of the folding tab 18 into an upright position (FIG. 3) or into a position folded against the rear wall 12. This frees a removal opening 30 which extends essentially next to a free edge of the inner folding tab 17. An edge-side or top handkerchief 43 can be removed via this removal opening.
- the closure flap 23 formed by the folding flap 18 is continued in the region of the rear wall 12, that is to say provided with a flap extension 31.
- This is delimited by lateral punch lines or perforation lines 32, 33 in the rear wall 12.
- These perforation lines 32, 33 are provided as an extension of the separating cuts 24, 25 beyond a longitudinal edge 34.
- the side webs 28, 29 of the outer folding tab 18 are firmly sealed or glued to the top of the inner folding tab 17. In this area there is a fixed, permanent connection between the edge side webs 28, 29 and the inner folding tab 17, here by sealing strips 44.
- the inner folding tab 17 In the area of the closure flap 23, before the packaging is put into use, there is a detachable connection with the inner folding tab 17, which ensures that the closure flap 23 is lifted off to open the packaging.
- the inner folding tab 17 is provided in the area of the closure flap 23 with a coating (lacquer or print coating). This enables the flaps 17 and 18 to be connected to one another by thermal sealing, the connection being less durable and being able to be eliminated by pulling off the outer folding flap 18.
- the sealing tab 23 is assigned an adhesive strip 35 (tape). This is - in the closed position - attached with one leg 36 to the front wall 11 and with a second leg 37 to the side wall 14 or on the outside of the locking tab 23.
- the leg 36 is provided with an adhesive-free handle end 38 for gripping the adhesive strip 35.
- the adhesive strip 35 is gripped at the end 38 of the handle.
- the leg 36 is pulled off the front wall 11.
- the closure flap 23 is released from the inner folding flap 17, the connection of the adhesive strip 35 to the closure flap 23 being retained.
- the closure flap 23 is finally pulled into the full opening position by cutting through the perforation lines 32, 33.
- the steps are carried out in the opposite direction.
- the removal opening 30 is in the inner fold in the exemplary embodiments shown lobes 17 formed a recess 39 which is open to the free edge of the folding tab 17 and thus to the removal opening 30.
- the recess 39 extends in a central region of the folding tab 17, so that here upward or to the side edges of a larger number of handkerchiefs 43 are exposed. This makes it easier to grasp a handkerchief for removal.
- the recess 39 is formed in the present case by an arch-shaped, namely semicircular perforation 40 in the region of the folding tab 17.
- a piece of film 41 is thereby limited, which is separated from the connection with the folding tab 17 when the packaging is opened for the first time.
- the piece of film 41 is firmly connected to the underside of the closure tab 23, in particular by thermal sealing.
- the coating on the top of the folding tab 17 in the area of the closure flap 23, which prevents a firm sealing is recessed in the area of the film piece 41 so that it can be sealed directly to the closure flap 23 without any coating.
- recess 39 and film piece 41 are formed differently from the example according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
- the recess 39 and thus the film piece 41 extend into the area of the longitudinal edge 34 facing the front wall 11. Access to the paper handkerchiefs 43 is thereby possible over the full height or width of the side wall 14.
- the perforation 40 for delimiting the film piece 41 is formed approximately like the end region of an ellipse, that is to say slightly arched with a rounding 46 at the free end, so that the film piece 41 and correspondingly the recess 39 are tongued are formed.
- the seal for fixing the film piece 41 to the folding tab 18 is designed as a sealing strip 45, analogously to the sealing strips 44 for attaching the side webs 28, 29.
- the perforation 40 for delimiting the piece of film 41 is designed such that a continuous separating cut 42 is provided in a central region and then end regions follow as a perforation.
- the opening aid designed in this way can, expediently with a corresponding redesign of the folding tabs, alternatively also be attached in the region of the end face 15.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a soft pack, in particular paper tissue packaging, from an envelope surrounding the pack contents, from a plastic film or the like, through which the front wall, rear wall, side walls, end wall and bottom wall are formed, with in the region of a narrow packaging surface, preferably in the region of an elongated one Sidewall, a reclosable opening aid is formed, which consists of two folding tabs (partially) overlapping one another in the closed position, of which the outside folding tab forms a closure flap for a removal opening and has an adhesive strip or an adhesive label, which with a partial area is releasably attached to an adjacent packing surface (front wall).
Piles of folded paper handkerchiefs are usually wrapped in thin plastic films. Recently, tissue paper packaging of this type has been provided with a reclosable opening aid.
Beide Faltlappen dienen so als Verschlußlaschen.FR-A 2 334 584 shows and describes various embodiments of such paper tissue packaging. One of these known packs is designed so that the opening aid is provided in the area of one of the two elongated, narrow side walls.
In the area of the closure flaps formed by the two folding tabs, these are connected to one another by an easily releasable seal. For this purpose, at least one side of the folding tabs to be connected to one another is provided with a coating which ensures an easy-to-open sealing or welding of the two closure tabs.
A tape is used for opening and reclosing, which is releasably attached to one part of the outer closure flap and another to the adjacent front wall of the packaging. This end of the adhesive strip is provided with an adhesive-free grip tab.
The invention has for its object to improve packaging of the type mentioned, especially in relation to handling in terms of easier removal of the tissues while maintaining or improving the dimensional stability of the packaging.
To achieve this object, the soft pack according to the invention is characterized in that only the outer folding flap serves as a closure flap, which extends over a (central) partial area of the (outer) folding flap and is divided from the lateral areas (side webs) thereof by separating cuts, which serve as perforation lines continue in the area of the packing wall (rear wall) connected to the outer folding tab.
The design of the reclosable opening aid according to the invention facilitates handling of the packaging, because only a closure flap has to be actuated in order to gain access to the contents of the package. By extending or continuing the closure flap in the area of an adjacent packing wall (rear wall), a portion of the side surfaces of the handkerchief packet is also exposed when the pack is open, so that the respective handkerchief on the edge can be gripped easily with two fingers. The process of opening and reclosing is also facilitated, since only one locking tab has to be actuated at a time - with the aid of the adhesive strip attached to the locking tab.
The opening aid is preferably arranged in the region of an elongated side wall of the pack. According to the invention, the closure flap has a shorter length than the outer folding flap from which the closure flap is formed by two separating cuts or perforation lines arranged at a distance from one another. The remaining webs or side webs remaining at the ends of the outer folding tab - adjacent to the end wall or to the bottom wall - are firmly connected to end areas of the inner folding tab, in particular by sealing the film. As a result, a box-shaped and therefore very dimensionally stable design is provided in the front and bottom area in addition to the removal opening.
A further, independent feature of the invention consists in that, in order to enlarge the removal opening, the inner folding tab has a recess which is open towards the free edge and thus towards the removal opening, in particular with an arcuate boundary. As a result, a larger removal opening is exposed when the closure flap is opened.
The recess is formed by removing, namely tearing off a piece of film which is connected to the inside of the closure flap and is torn out of the recess when it is opened for the first time.
The soft pack according to the invention can be produced in large series using conventional machines. The special design provides increased stability so that even very thin foils can be used. The opening aid is designed for easy, problem-free handling.
- Fig. 2 einen Ausschnitt einer Materialbahn zur Bildung Zuschnitten für Verpackungen gemäß Fig. 1.
- Fig. 3 eine Verpackung ähnlich Fig. 1 in Öffnungsstellung, in perspektivischer Darstellung.
- 1 is a package for receiving a stack of folded paper tissues in the closed position in a perspective view,
- FIG. 2 shows a section of a material web for forming blanks for packaging according to FIG. 1.
- Fig. 3 shows a package similar to Fig. 1 in the open position, in a perspective view.
The packaging shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 serves to hold a stack of folded
The packaging is formed in that the blank is placed in a U-shaped manner in the region of the
The packaging is provided with a reclosable opening aid. In the present case, this is located in the region of the narrow,
Es bleiben dadurch benachbart zu diesen Seitenstege 28, 29 als Teil des Faltlappens 18.The outer folding flap 18 - which lies with an overlap on the inner folding flap 17 - forms a
To open the packaging, the
As can be seen from FIG. 2, measures for enlarging the removal opening 30 are provided. For this purpose, the
When the package is opened by lifting the
In the area of the closure flap 23, before the packaging is put into use, there is a detachable connection with the
To open and reclose the packaging, the
When opening the packaging, the
To improve or enlarge the
In the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2, the
