Da ausserdem die Beschaltung ohne weiteres auch nachträglich eingebaut und sehr leicht geändert werden kann, wird durch die Erfindung auch die Anpassbarkeit bestehender Installationen an geänderte Anforderungen wesentlich verbessert. Das gilt in besonderem Masse für eine besondere Ausführungsform der Erfindung, die es erlaubt, Leitungen, vorzugsweise die der Zuführung des Steuersignals an die Steuerkontakte dienenden, aufzutrennen, was die Beschaltung mit in Serie zum Relais liegenden Elementen wie Drosseln oder mit Vierpolen, z. B. Jede der Lamellen 5a,b ist durch zwei Kerben 6a,b für ein Auftrennen der elektrisch leitenden Verbindung zwischen dem jeweiligen Steueranschluss 2a oder 2b und dem jeweiligen Steuerkontakt 3a bzw. 3b vorbereitet.
