Description

The invention relates to a pallet consisting of a frame and a base insert detachably held in the frame (DE-A-3 728 296, DE-A-3 629 087).

Such pallets are used in particular for receiving and storing objects, such as assembly parts, ready for removal, which are removed for further processing by an industrial robot. As a result, the pallets must be arranged or positioned very precisely relative to the robot so that the objects are also fixed in position and can thus be gripped by the robot. The objects are fixed within the pallet by the specially adapted floor inserts, for example by inserting them into corresponding receiving recesses. Therefore, it is always necessary for different objects to be stored, also with regard to the receiving recesses to use different floor inserts, so that it is desirable for multiple use of the frame to replace the floor inserts accordingly. Such an exchange has so far been difficult with the known pallets.

The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a pallet of the type described at the outset such that the floor insert can be removed quickly and easily from the frame with a structurally simple and inexpensive design and just as easily be used again, but nevertheless a precise one Positioning of the frame or the floor insert within the frame and a durable attachment between the frame and the floor insert should be ensured.

According to the invention this is achieved in that the floor insert is held in the frame by means of a snap-fit or force fit connection. Due to this advantageous design, the floor insert for assembly only needs to be pressed into the frame until the positive or positive connection snaps into place. It is just as easy to remove the floor insert, because all you have to do is push it out of the frame. This ensures a very firm connection in the assembled state and very precise in terms of positioning or the relative assignment between frame and floor insert.

Advantageous developments of the invention are characterized in the subclaims.

Dabei zeigen:

  • Fig. 1 eine Perspektivansicht einer erfindungsgemäßen Palette,
Based on a preferred embodiment shown in the accompanying drawing, the invention will be explained in more detail below. Show:
  • 1 is a perspective view of a pallet according to the invention,
  • 2 is a partial section enlarged compared to FIG. 1 along the line II-II in FIG. 1,
  • Fig. 3 is a view analogous to Fig. 2 of two stacked, inventive pallets and
  • 4 shows a partial top view of a corner region of the pallet according to the invention in the direction of arrow IV according to FIG. 1.

A pallet 2 according to the invention shown in FIG. 1 consists of a frame 4 and a bottom insert 6 detachably held in the frame 4. The bottom insert 6 is in particular designed as a plastic deep-drawn part and has on its bottom surface, for example, by elevations 8 or depressions 10 formed contour, which is adapted to precisely positioned objects not shown on them.

Diese schnappbare Verbindung 12 besteht im einfachsten Fall aus zumindest zwei einander diametral gegenüberliegenden, federelastischen, form- oder kraftformschlüssig in Rastvertiefungen 14 des Rahmens 4 eingreifenden Rastansätzen 16 des Bodeneinsatzes 6.As can best be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, it is now provided according to the invention for the connection between the frame 4 and the base insert 6 that the base insert 6 is held in the frame 4 by means of a snap-fit or force fit connection 12. In the simplest case, this snap-in connection 12 consists of at least two diametrically opposed, resilient, form-fitting or force-fitting locking projections 16 of the base insert 6 which engage in locking recesses 14 in the frame 4.

In the illustrated, particularly advantageous exemplary embodiment of the invention, however, it is provided that the latching depressions 14 are designed as a receiving groove 20 running around the inner frame surfaces 18, which receiving groove 20 - as shown - can have a rectangular cross section. In this case, the snap connection 12 is consequently a snap-fit connection. However, it is also within the scope of the invention to design the groove 20 with a cross-section that widens in the opening direction, for example a trapezoidal cross section, in which case it is a snap-fit force fit connection.

In einer realisierten Ausführungsform der erfindungsgemäßen Palette 2 enden die Raststege 26 jeweils etwa 40 bis 50 mm vor den Ecken des Bodeneinsatzes 6.Furthermore, it is particularly advantageous if the base insert 6 is trough-shaped with circumferential side walls 22 which abut approximately parallel to the frame inner surfaces 18, the side walls 22 being designed to be resilient in the region of their free end edges and the resilient recesses in this resilient area 14 engaging locking lugs 16 are arranged. The side walls 22 are consequently movable in the direction of the double arrows 23 shown in FIGS. 2 and 4. As shown, the frame 4 is rectangular of four frame walls 24, so that the bottom insert 6 is also rectangular. In this case, the bottom insert 6 expediently has four side walls 22 arranged at right angles to one another, preferably at least one latching projection 16 being provided on each side wall 22, so that the snap-in connection 12 consists of at least four partial connections, which has an advantageous effect on the durability of the connection. In addition, it is particularly expedient if the latching projections 16 are designed as latching webs 26 which, with the exception of one another the corner areas of the floor insert 6 or the frame 4 each extend over the entire length of the side walls 22 of the floor insert 6. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the locking webs 26 are consequently cut away in the corner regions of the base insert 6 in order to ensure the resilient mobility of the side walls 22. In a realized embodiment of the pallet 2 according to the invention, the latching webs 26 each end approximately 40 to 50 mm in front of the corners of the floor insert 6.

Due to the illustrated and described embodiment of the pallet 2 according to the invention, the floor insert 6 need only be pushed into the frame 4 from above in the direction of arrow 28 according to FIG. 2 until the snap-in connection 12 snaps or snaps into place, i.e. until the locking webs 26 snap into the receiving groove 20. With the exception of the corner areas, there is a connection that is practically completely closed in the circumferential direction, so that even very heavy objects can be safely deposited with the pallet 2 according to the invention without the base insert 6 being able to detach from the frame 4. To dismantle the bottom insert 6, it is pressed downward out of the frame 4 by a further pressure in the direction of the arrow 28.

For the durability of the connection 12, it can be advantageous if the side walls 22 of the base insert 6 have stiffening beads 30, particularly in their central areas perpendicular to the base surface, as can be seen in particular in FIGS. 1 and 2.

In the assembled state of the frame 4 and the bottom insert 6, the side walls 22 of the bottom insert 6 can additionally to the snap connection 12 via rivet connections 32, or via other connecting means, such as screw connections, plastic plugs or the like, connected to the frame. One of the stiffening beads 30 is preferably arranged on both sides of a rivet connection 32, as can be seen in FIG. 1. These rivet connections 32 practically create an at least temporarily unsolvable connection, but can be removed for the purpose of disassembling the bottom insert 6, for example by drilling, so that the bottom insert 6 can subsequently be dismantled in the manner described above.

The frame walls 24 of the frame 4 are expediently non-detachable, in particular integrally connected to one another, e.g. welded or glued. However, it is within the scope of the invention to releasably connect the frame walls 24, in particular via plug connections. In both cases, it is expedient if the frame walls 24 are mitred in the corners of the frame 4. In the case of a cohesive connection, this is particularly advantageous insofar as the connection area between the frame walls 24 can be increased to a maximum, so that good durability is ensured.

The pallet 2 according to the invention is designed to be stackable in that the frame 4 in the region of its upper and lower edges has guide webs 34 formed in a negative contour with respect to one another. These guide webs 34 run in the longitudinal direction of the frame walls 24 and each have a maximum thickness corresponding to half the thickness of the frame walls 24. One of the guide webs 34 is with the outer surface 36 of the frame walls 24 and the other guide web 34 is with the inner surface 18 of the frame walls 24 arranged in alignment. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the upper guide web 34 is arranged in the outer region and the lower guide web 34 in the inner region of the frame walls 24. It is particularly advantageous if, in the stacked state - as shown in Fig. 3 - facing side surfaces 38 of the side-by-side guide webs 34 of two stacked pallets 2 are arranged at an angle such that the guide webs 34 taper in the direction of their free ends. The width of the guide webs 34 is such that there is a side play of approximately 1 mm between the guide webs 34 of two stacked pallets 2 or frames 4. The guide webs 34 have upper or lower end surfaces 37, with which they come to rest in the stacked state on flat, adjacent to the guide webs 34 support surfaces 39 of the other frame 4. The lower end surfaces 37 - as can also be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3 - are preferably arranged in alignment with a lower floor surface 41 of the floor insert 6.

This advantageous embodiment ensures that when a pallet 2 is placed in the direction of arrow 40 according to FIG. 3 on a lower pallet 2, the upper pallet is guided in such a way that, due to the inclined side surfaces 38 of the guide webs 34, it is positioned exactly in the direction of arrow 40 an arrangement aligned with the lower pallet is performed. This is particularly advantageous for the desired, precise positioning. The guide webs 34 thus facilitate both the slip-free placement and the removal of the pallets 2.

These hollow profiles 42 are for stiffening Subdivided into several superimposed cavities 46 via a plurality of stiffening webs 44 running in the longitudinal direction of the profile and parallel to the bottom surface 41. To avoid condensation, it is advantageous if the cavities 46 are filled with a filling material, in particular are foamed. In this way, it is effectively avoided that the objects stored in the pallet 2 according to the invention are damaged, for example by corrosion, by the formation and leakage of condensation water from the cavities 46. Furthermore, the hollow profiles 42 have stiffening beads 48 running in the longitudinal direction of the profile, in particular in the area of the stiffening webs 44. As is also clear from FIG. 2, the receiving groove 20 is also formed by a bead-shaped course of the inner wall 50 of the hollow profile 42 facing the base insert 6.

These handle openings 52 are preferably formed in the area between two adjacent stiffening webs 44 of the hollow profile 42 in such a way that the stiffening webs 44 form the upper and lower boundaries of the handle openings 52, as is well shown in FIG 2 and 3 can be seen.

Dabei ist von Vorteil, daß die Nietverbindung 32 von der Außenseite des Rahmens 4 her verdeckt, d.h. unsichtbar ist.2 and 3 that the rivet connection 32 designed as a blind rivet 52 extends through the side wall 22 of the base insert 6 and through the inner wall 50 of the hollow profile 42 into one of the cavities 46. It is advantageous that the rivet connection 32 is covered from the outside of the frame 4, ie is invisible.

As already mentioned above, the bottom insert 6 is preferably made of plastic. However, it can also be made of aluminum. The frame 4 is also preferably made of plastic or aluminum.

The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment shown and described, but also encompasses all embodiments having the same effect in the sense of the invention.
