  • heating rods (125 and 126) move in the directions indicated by arrows to achieve a good seal and are shown in their final position by the dotted line (124).
  • a bowl (122) has a lid (123) which is provided with an upright zipper strip (127) and the bars (125 and 126) heat seal the lid (123) to the edge and also provide the end seal on the vertical zipper strip so that the final seal will look like that shown in Fig. 7 shown.
