Abstract

In the wheelchair for handicapped and sick patients, which is driven by an electric motor, each driven wheel (1) with its drive (2) is provided with a separate suspension relative to the chair frame (3), a telescopic spring in the form of a gas compression spring, a shock absorber or the like being provided as the suspension (4) for each driven wheel (1).
